The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

Continuing from his invitation, Kaito finally revealed the truth behind his identity and the source of his extraordinary abilities. He explained that he was originally a person from another world and that he, together with his ”family,” was now the ruler and owner of the world they had come to call the Base World.

Kaito also confessed the reason behind the invitation: to help them develop further their world. The Base World was still young. Although it was considerably larger than Earth, most of it remained undeveloped, leaving enormous amounts of land and resources untouched.

Rather than allowing the world to remain empty, Kaito wanted to fill it with different races and cultures... and the Devil Race was one of the races he wanted to invite. Mainly because he is also a devil himself. He wanted them to settle in the Base World, develop it alongside his family and the other races he planned to bring there in the future, and ultimately build an entirely new civilization together.

While Kaito confessed almost everything regarding the base world information, the existence of the Chat Group wasn’t revealed. All chat group members had unanimously agreed that the Chat Group’s existence was their greatest secret, one that should never be casually revealed to outsiders, regardless of how trustworthy those outsiders might seem.

...

Hearing everything that Kaito just revealed to say the Four Satans (and Grayfia) were shocked would have been an understatement. They had never imagined that his secret was something like this at all, that Kaito was a person from another world and also the owner of a world.

Serafall, however, reacted rather differently. Rather than dwelling on the political implications of Kaito’s revelation, her eyes practically sparkled with excitement about something else.

”Does that mean there might be a world where magical girls are an actual profession?!”

””...”” (Everyone)

Rather than dwelling on the revelation itself, she was thrilled by the mere existence of another world. Her imagination immediately ran wild as she wondered whether there might be a world where being a magical girl was an actual profession.

...

”Everything you’ve told us is truly an eye-opener, Kaito-kun... to say the least.” Sirzechs let out a quiet sigh as he processed everything he had just heard. ”But inviting the entire Devil Race to settle in your world isn’t a decision the four of us can make by ourselves.”

”Even though we are the current leaders of the Devil Race, we cannot simply make a decision of this magnitude without consulting the other representatives.”

”Indeed.” Falbium nodded. ”Lord Bael and the other noble houses, as well as the elders, possess considerable authority within Devil society. We would need to discuss this proposal with them before we could make any official decision.”

”That said...” Falbium continued thoughtfully, ”if everything you’ve told us is true, then migrating to this new world could become an extraordinary opportunity for the future of the Devil Race.”

”I agree,” Sirzechs said. ”But we cannot make such an important decision hastily.”

”I’m already convinced!”

Serafall immediately raised her hand. ”I want to see the magical girl world, so I’m in!”

”Serafall...” Sirzechs sighed.

”What?” She puffed out her cheeks. ”I’m being serious!”

Ajuka, meanwhile, rubbed his chin thoughtfully. ”If the Base World truly possesses that much undeveloped territory and can accommodate our population, then I don’t see why we shouldn’t consider it.”

He glanced toward Kaito. ”It could solve many of the Devil Race’s current problems.”

Grayfia quietly nodded.=, ”That would indeed be wonderful.”

Her expression remained composed, but there was a trace of genuine hope in her eyes.

...

Having lived and managed in the Underworld for a very long time, the Four Satans understood the Underworld’s problems better than almost anyone. Vast territories had been abandoned, devastated, or reduced to poverty, whether because of the Underworld’s harsh natural environment or the lingering scars left behind by the Great Civil War.

And the Devil Race was hardly the only faction inhabiting the Underworld. They constantly had to contend with hostile groups and dangerous races.

Fallen Angels.

The Old Devil Faction.

Forces from the Realm of Death.

And countless other supernatural threats.

Villages and even major cities had repeatedly suffered catastrophic attacks. Powerful magical beasts occasionally overran settlements, while conflicts between different factions could cause massive casualties among ordinary devils.

The Underworld was their home, but it was far from a peaceful one.

For centuries, the Devil Race had struggled to maintain its society in an environment filled with danger, political instability, and limited expansion opportunities.

...

”A vast, undeveloped world that can connect to countless other worlds, each with its own unique system...” Ajuka murmured thoughtfully, his eyes filled with curiosity.

”That’s certainly an extraordinary prospect. I’m genuinely excited to explore such an opportunity.”

He turned toward Kaito and said, ”As Sirzechs said, this isn’t something the four of us can decide on our own. However, would it be possible for us to visit your world first?”

”We’d like to see it with our own eyes before making any decision.”

Sirzechs nodded in agreement.

”That’s a good idea. We want to experience just how great this other world really is before deciding whether relocating the Devil Race there would truly be worth it.”

...

As promising as Kaito’s world sounded, Sirzechs and the others were also painfully aware of the problems within their own society. If the Devil Race were to migrate to the Base World, as Kaito explained, to coexist and be peaceful, they couldn’t simply carry all of their old problems with them.

The deeply rooted discrimination within Devil society would have to be addressed, particularly the prejudice against lower-class and half-blood devils that had persisted for generations. It was a complicated issue. But if Kaito truly possessed complete authority over the Base World, and if the world was genuinely as promising as he claimed, then Sirzechs was willing to dedicate himself to reforming Devil society.

After all, a new world could offer far more than a safer homeland. It could provide the Devil Race with an opportunity to build a better future from the ground up.

...

Kaito nodded, already expecting such a request from them. ”Sure. We can do that. How about tomorrow? We can visit together with the Phenex family.”

He briefly turned toward Sakuya. ”Umm... Sakuya, I don’t have any appointments tomorrow, right?”

Sakuya shook her head and calmly explained, ”No, Master. Your schedule is quite free. Aika-sama has already handled the matter involving the Himejima Clan, while Ravel-sama has taken responsibility for the Magical Girl business.”

Kaito smiled, ”Aika and Ravel really do work hard. I’m truly grateful for everyone’s help.”

He then turned back toward the Four Satans. ”Then Sirzech-sama and others... tomorrow works for me. Is that acceptable for all of you?”

Sirzech looked at his wife, who smiled and nodded at him, aware that he also asked about their schedule.

”Tomorrow is completely free,” Grayfia said to Four Satan, ”There are no important matters scheduled from morning until evening.”

Hearing that, the Four Satans sighed in relief, exchanged glances before nodding.

”Then it’s settled,” Sirzechs said, ”Is there anything we need to prepare beforehand?”

”Nope.” Kaito waved his hand casually, not much concerned about it, as he had confidence that his family definitely could prepare everything in a day. ”Just decide on the time and meeting place. Once everything is ready, we’ll come pick you up and take you directly to the Base World.”

”I see.” Sirzech held his chin and asked, But I am curious what’s the matter with the Phenex family joining us?”

”That’s because we also told them about the Base World, tried to invite them, and we also promised them to give a tour.” Kaito explained casually, ”After all, Ravel is one of my fiancées, and because of that, her family also became my family, and I plan to treat them with respect.”

...!!!

Hearing Kaito’s words, Sirzechs and the others immediately understood what he was implying. If Ravel’s family could receive a privileged position in the Base World simply because Ravel was Kaito’s fiancée, then Kaito’s status as the world’s ruler clearly carried enormous weight.

In fact, his authority was arguably greater than that of any ordinary pantheon leader, or even the Biblical God himself. After all, the gods of the various pantheons ruled their respective factions and domains, but none of them possessed absolute authority over an entire world.

That realization inevitably gave the Four Satans some rather... interesting ideas. Perhaps they should consider introducing some of their own family members to Kaito.

Sirzechs, in particular, couldn’t help thinking about his younger sister. He knew very well that Rias was currently engaged to Riser Phenex. Compared to that flaming bird, Kaito seemed like a far better husband candidate in almost every conceivable way.

Sirzechs couldn’t resist testing the waters.

...

”Oh? Then, what do you think of my sister, Rias? She’s pretty beautiful too, and she’s probably interested in you.” Sirzech suggested, ”I am willing to help you connect with my sister if you are interested in her.”

Kaito immediately shook his head. ”Uh... I’m perfectly willing to become friends with her. But as for an engagement?”

”No, thank you.”

His rejection was almost instantaneous. Kaito wasn’t an idiot, as he was truly aware she already had more than enough women to worry about.

Besides, there was another problem: ”Are you sure your sister even has a good impression of me after I beat you in front of the entire Underworld?”

During his recovery, Kaito had learned that the girls had already become acquainted with both Rias and Sona. They had also told him about the bet between the two girls. Apparently, Rias had been furious watching her brother get beaten up. Kaito therefore assumed that she probably didn’t have the most favorable opinion of him.

”Uh...”

Sirzechs scratched his cheek awkwardly. He knew exactly what Kaito was talking about. ”I’m sure it’ll be fine. At the very least, she has expressed her support for your engagement with the Gremory family.”

”She wasn’t exactly happy about the duel, but she certainly doesn’t seem to hold a grudge against you.”

”And Sona too!” Serafall suddenly jumped into the conversation, ”Though I’d support your engagement party regardless!”

She clasped her hands together excitedly.

”By the way, everyone here supports your engagement!”

”You’ve become the newest superstar of the supernatural world, after all!”

Ajuka and Falbium both nodded, confirming Serafall’s words.

Kaito blinked in surprise.

”...Thank you.”

A genuine smile appeared on his face.

”Then I’ll make sure you all have a pleasant experience tomorrow.”

He paused before smiling even more brightly.

”I guess our engagement celebration will be smoother than I expected.”

With the support from Four Satan and his status as a superstar of the supernatural world, he had no doubt his engagement party would be successful. It was excellent news for him, who had been concerned about this for a while, and he couldn’t wait to tell the girls about this happy news. Although his popularity has been tarnished a bit (being a magical girl), at least things ended up well despite his bad luck.

Unfortunately, he had no idea how many dangerous individuals had already taken an interest in him because of his newfound status. Nor did he know that some of the most radical factions in the supernatural world had already begun making plans around his existence.

For example, Rizevim Lucifer was already considering an invitation of his own. He intended to attend Kaito’s engagement celebration whether Kaito wanted him there or not.

Since the promise had been made, Kaito naturally needed to make the necessary preparations.

After leaving Sirzechs’ residence and returning home, he immediately opened the chat group and informed everyone about the upcoming visit. Meanwhile, Sakuya had already returned to the Base World to begin preparing everything they would need for the following day.

=====

[Owner]: ”In the end, the invitation was successful, so Four Satan and the Phenex family are going to visit our world tomorrow. @Owner Favorite Girl, I hope you can inform your family about it.”

[God Tongue]: ”Tomorrow...? Wow, Owner, isn’t that a little fast?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Well, you’re lucky there isn’t much to prepare in the first place. Public order in the Base World has always been pretty good.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”I’ll head back and oversee the preparations, then. We should also compile all the information we’ll need to explain to our guests.”

Railgun Girl]: ”Everything is already 100% clean! The former Cursed Children and my sisters always keep the wooden mansion spotless since it’s close to their homes anyway.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”I will ensure to check there personally later.”

[SAO Top Blacksmith]: ”I’ll inspect the roads and public facilities as well. We should make sure everything looks presentable.”

[God Tongue]: ”Then I’ll prepare my best dishes yet!”

[Slime King]: ”I’ll bring some of the finest booze from my Jura Federation city!”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”Then I’ll prepare some of my best songs!”

[Owner]: ”Good suggestion! You can sing at the end of the banquet at night to make a more memorable impression, Uta-san.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”That sounds great. Then I will come too. Although I am not sure what I can help with.”

[Gender Equality Hero]: ”Is there something I can help with?”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”You get the most difficult task... Hold Aqua back from making trouble.”

[Owner]: ”Damn. I forgot about those maniacs.”

[Ohara Survivor]: ”Ah... that’s indeed going to be a big trouble. Not to mention the Axis Cult has been spreading for a while.”

[Railgun Girl]: ”Ahhh... those lunatics! Why did you agree to let Aqua build them an entire city in the first place?! That dumb goddess has been importing her dangerous cultists here, and they’ve been spreading rapidly across several cities!”

[God Tongue]: ”Especially that archpriest Zesta! I’ve never seen a person more perverted than him!”

[Necromancer]: ”Zesta is scary...”

[Sekirei Number 3]: ”I second that. I punched him to disturb my date with Itachi-san, and he came back like nothing a minute later.”

[Owner]: ”Well... It can’t be helped. Aqua’s ability is still really useful for our future. But later we need to create a law to keep their danger from spreading to the whole base world.”

[God Tongue]: ”Especially against that pervert archpriest!”

[Owner]: ”I follow democracy, so sure.”

[Uchiha Prodigy]: ”Should we forbid them during the Four Satan visit?”

[Witch of the Void]: ”That’s indeed something we need to do. We can’t let them scare our guest.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”To ensure things won’t go wrong, how about you, Kaito, ask the system to do it? After all, points are omnipotent.”

[Owner]: ”Yeah, I am willing to provide the points later to ensure none of the Axis cultists will disturb this event.”

[God Tongue]: ”How about the future? Would they still bother them?”

[Owner]: ”Well... if they decide to move in, they need to adapt. It’s not like we can kick out Aqua and her whole cult.”

[Baroque Works Leader]: ”Her healing and resurrection skill is very valuable.”

[Alien Princess]: ”Some of them are funny, so I don’t think they were that bad!”

[Railgun Girl]: ”No way! Most of them are weirdo!”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”Either way, let’s plan the route for all the devils to visit. Since the goal is to impress them, if our goal is to impress the Four Satans and the Phenex family, we should start by showing them things that matter most to devils. So you can start from the Academy, then Lala’s laboratory--”

The discussion continued from there. What was supposed to be a simple announcement quickly turned into a full-scale planning meeting.

For several hours, the members enthusiastically discussed everything from the tour route and transportation to food, entertainment, security, scientific facilities, and even which members should accompany the guests at each location. After all, this wasn’t just an ordinary visit. The Four Satans were coming to the Base World to determine whether the entire Devil Race should eventually migrate there.

Fortunately, the Base World was already relatively peaceful and well-organized. There were no major crises that needed to be solved, and most of the necessary infrastructure was already in place. As a result, preparing everything was surprisingly easy. By the time the discussion finally ended, everyone was already looking forward to tomorrow.
