The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

As Kaito and Sirzechs prepared to fight without restraint, excitement swept through the audience. At last, they would witness the true power of their beloved strongest Satan in real time, which is the reason why they were coming to watch in the first place.

Most of the audience knew that Sirzechs Lucifer’s reputation had never been built on his physical strength alone, but on the overwhelming might of his Destruction power. Although Kaito had already proven he could match Sirzechs in close combat, many believed the battle would end swiftly now that Sirzechs was about to unleash his true strength.

On Kaito’s side, however, the members of his chat group and his peerage felt quite differently. They all knew that close-quarters combat wasn’t Kaito’s greatest specialty. What truly made him terrifying was his vast arsenal of abilities and artifacts, many of which were notoriously difficult to counter.

...

”It’s over.” Rias declared confidently as crimson Destruction power gathered around Sirzechs. ”My brother is finally getting serious. He’s going to win.”

”Really?” Aika replied with a knowing smile. ”I’ve already told you that Kaito hasn’t gotten serious either.”

She folded her arms and added, ”Rias-chan, even at this point, you are still not convinced about our king’s strength?”

”My brother is hailed as the strongest Devil,” Rias shot back without hesitation. ”He’s going to win because he’s the strongest!”

”Is that so?” Aika simply shrugged, her smile never fading. ”Then let me remind you one more time: prepare to be surprised, because our King is the strongest too.”

Unlike Rias and most of the Devil Race, Aika knew they couldn’t imagine a reincarnated devil defeating the strongest pure-blooded devil, but she knew that belief would shatter later on.

Kaito has promised to win the duel, and since he has never broken a promise, everyone in the chat group is willing to believe he will.

...

Meanwhile, inside the arena, Kaito took advantage of the brief lull in the battle to fully deploy the Gate of Babylon behind him.

Golden ripples spread across the sky as hundreds of ’dangerous’ weapons emerged, each one suspended in the air and aimed at Sirzechs. The breathtaking display left countless audiences stunned.

”All of those weapons! Does that mean Leviathan-sama’s queen, Kaito own all of those weapons? What’s he planning to do?!” (Commentator)

Although no one in the audience recognized the weapons, many of the stronger observers could instinctively sense the overwhelming power contained within them. It was enough to make them wonder where Kaito had obtained such an extraordinary arsenal.

--Four Satan VIP room--

”Those weapons...” Ajuka muttered, unable to hide his fascination with the arena. ”Where did Kaito obtain them?! And what kind of storage space is capable of holding so many?”

His eyes narrowed as he carefully observed the countless weapons; whether it was a dagger, sword, axe, spear, etc, a lot of them came from different origins.

”I can sense traces of Greek, Norse, and even Biblical craftsmanship from some of them... yet I’ve never seen any of these weapons before.”

”I’m curious as well.” Falbium nodded before his expression turned serious. ”More importantly, I’m beginning to wonder whether Sirzechs can actually win this fight. Some of those holy weapons don’t look ordinary, and I can feel a threat from them.”

”He’ll be fine,” Ajuka replied with confidence. ”If Sirzechs reveals his true form, none of those weapons should be able to threaten him.”

”But that right hand is still the biggest variable,” Serafall said, her cheerful demeanor replaced by an unusually serious expression. ”If Kaito-kun’s right hand can erase Destruction power as well... then Sirzechs-kun could be in real trouble.”

”...That’s a fair point.” Ajuka slowly nodded. ”Still, we all know how strong and capable Sirzechs is. I’m sure he’ll find a way to deal with it during their duel.”

---- Inside Fallen Angel Base---

”Those definitely aren’t Sacred Gears; I can tell some of them are even divine weapons,” Azazel said with great interest as he watched the projection. ”Still, several of them give off an aura dangerous enough that even I wouldn’t want to be struck by them.”

A grin spread across his face.

”It seems Serafall’s Queen still has plenty of tricks left to challenge Sirzechs. Sirzech is going to be in trouble!”

”He’s certainly a formidable opponent,” Barakiel agreed. ”His martial prowess alone is already worthy of an Ultimate-class Devil.”

Azazel glanced toward the silver-haired young man beside him... his adopted son, who also watched the fight very seriously since the very beginning.

”What do you think, Vali? Could you beat him?”

”I’m not sure.” Vali shook his head honestly. ”That mysterious right hand alone is impossible to deal with without precaution. Albion has warned me repeatedly that even he has no confidence to deal with it.”

”It’s indeed a very absurd hand,” Azazel admitted with a nod. ”A single touch is enough to nullify virtually any form of magic is definitely a nightmare for any magic user.”

He paused before smiling confidently, ”Still, Sirzechs isn’t someone you can underestimate. He’s one of the most experienced fighters alive since the war with god back then, so I still think he’ll come out on top. Serafall Queen isn’t as experienced as him for sure.”

”I don’t think so,” Vali commented calmly. ”For some reason... I have a feeling the Leviathan Queen’s King is going to win.”

”We will just need to keep watching to see who’s going to be the winner.” Azazel shrugged.

”Yeah.”

As someone who lived for battle, Vali couldn’t help but be drawn to such a wonderful fight. He had a feeling that he and Kaito would eventually cross paths, so he intended to watch every second of the duel to learn about his future enemies.

Back in the arena, as he faced the countless weapons floating behind Kaito, Sirzech felt a rare sense of pressure. Among the hundreds of treasures aimed at him, he could instinctively tell that a dozen were capable of threatening even him. At this moment, he finally understood where Kaito’s confidence to win came from before their fight even started.

Facing this arsenal alone felt no different from standing against an entire army. Sirzechs knew that if he wasn’t careful, he would end up losing pretty badly, struck by a dozen weapons.

Also, regardless of the outcome of this duel, Sirzech was already certain of one thing: after today, Kaito’s name would spread throughout the Underworld. If someone with such power was willing to support the Devil Race’s future, it would be a great thing, so Sirzech planned to ask him.

”...Kaito, let me ask you before we start.”

”Sure.” Kaito nods.

”If you won the fight, what’s your plan for the future?” Sirzech solemnly asked, ”Especially related to the underworld and devil race. Did you have interest in leading the underworld?”

”Plans? I don’t really have any.” Kaito answered honestly. ”My main goal has always been to protect myself and my family. I have no interest in politics or status, so you don’t have to worry about that.”

As for the affairs of this Underworld, Kaito truly had little interest in becoming involved. However, if the Devil Race chose to migrate to the Base World later on, then that would be a different matter entirely because he would naturally want the whole race to contribute to the base world.

Hearing Kaito’s answer, Sirzech let out a quiet sigh of relief and prepared to strike first.

At the same time, multiple magic circles unfolded behind him and beneath his feet, glowing as he prepared to resume their duel.

At the same time, Kaito remained silent, his eyes fixed on the Satan in front of him, ready to strike with his whole arsenal the moment Sirzech made his move.

*DASH*

In an instant, Sirzechs shot forward like a crimson comet toward Kaito.

At the same time the moment Sirzech rushed toward him, over a dozen Gates of Babylon opened behind Kaito and unleashed a storm of weapons toward him. For a moment, everyone was surprised that Kaito actually launched those weapons instead of using them himself, but they realized such usage made sense when Kaito clearly had over a thousand weapons.

With Observation Haki, Kaito could vaguely sense and predict Sirzechs’ movements. However, there was one major problem with this: Sirzechs was simply faster than the projectiles themselves.

*SWISH*

*SWISH*

*SWISH*

*SWISH*

Sirzechs raced across the whole arena at blinding speed, through the endless barrage with precision... while simultaneously launching waves of destruction magic toward Kaito. The display of such skill showed that Sirzech’s title as ’strongest devil’ wasn’t just a show.

Some of Kaito’s launched weapons were even intercepted and hurled back at him through Sirzechs’ overwhelming physical strength. However, Kaito calmly countered by summoning additional weapons from the Gate of Babylon to intercept them midair.

*BOOM*

*CLANK*

*BOOM*

*CLANK*

Unlike the earlier stages of the duel, which had been dominated by close-quarters combat, the battlefield was now consumed by a spectacular long-range exchange.

Hundreds to thousands of weapons launched from Kaito’s Gate of Babylon filled the arena, while Sirzechs’ devastating magical barrages illuminated the arena with flashes of crimson light.

It was a battle of overwhelming firepower and skill, a dangerous yet mesmerizing spectacle that left the audience completely captivated.

One of those captivated audiences was Rizevim, one of the three super devils, leader of the Khaos Brigade, and one of the main antagonists of High School of the Dead in the original. Naturally, he also paid attention to this duel and was truly shocked to see what Kaito had shown the world.

-- Rizevim House--

”Amazing! Very Amazing! This new Sitri Queen... he has so many artifacts, yet he uses them as projectiles! How envious! I want some of them!”

”With such ability! No wonder he dares to fight against Sirzech-chan! That right hand! That weaponry! He is a walking treasure!”

Rizevim, the middle-aged man in his 40’s with dark silver hair, has a crazed expression upon watching the whole duel. He looked to his most devoted right-hand man beside him and ordered, ”Euclid! Change of plan a bit! I am curious about everything about him, so let’s get him to our side!”

”I am really interested in him!” Rizevim gleefully added, ”Those weapons alone were worth it!”

”Understood, Lucifer-sama.” Euclid nodded. ”I share your curiosity. We’ll begin preparing a way to make contact with him.”

”Excellent!” Rizevim clapped his hands in delight. ”The sooner, the better! I have a feeling he’s the key to reaching that other world. Those abilities... those weapons... they’re unlike anything this world has ever seen!”

Thanks to the duel, Kaito unknowingly attracted the ’main antagonist’ to himself... which would bring him no shortage of trouble in the near future.

>>>>>

The second phase of the battle had continued for several minutes, yet neither combatant showed any signs of slowing down.

After failing repeatedly to close the distance through conventional means, Sirzechs changed his strategy. Kaito’s Gate of Babylon had been firing continuously for over a minute without any decrease in intensity, making a direct approach nearly impossible... so Sirzech changed his tactics.

Sirzech was prepared to use teleportation to catch him off guard and maybe deliver a finishing hit.

*BLINK*

...?!?!

The moment Sirzech suddenly disappeared and then appeared behind him, Kaito was very surprised and unable to react. Even with Observation Haki, he hadn’t predicted the teleportation quickly enough... but Kaito didn’t seem to be concerned that much.

Naturally, Sirzechs immediately threw a punch toward him imbued with strength and then magic... but--

”What...?!”

Yet no matter how much strength he poured into the strike... his fist simply couldn’t reach Kaito... because an invisible distance separated them.

In fact, since the beginning of the second phase, Kaito had quietly surrounded himself with an ”infinite” layer of distorted space—a defensive technique inspired by Satoru Gojo (JJK) Limitless, recreated through his evolved Creation ability. It’s one of the abilities he created after coming back from To Aru World, since he figured he could also create some ’conceptual’ thing.

As long as an attack couldn’t overcome that pseudo-infinite space, any attack would never reach him... since Kaito could keep making ’space’ between himself and enemy.

*Slash*

”You almost got me, Sirzech-san!”

*Slash*

*Slash*

”How...?” Sirzechs muttered as he narrowly evaded Est while remaining within close range to Kaito, as retreating wasn’t an option.

The moment he widened the distance, Gate of Babylon would resume bombarding him with hundreds of weapons, and this time Kaito probably wouldn’t give him a chance to get closer.

As he continued dodging close barrages and Kaito’s slashes, Sirzechs calmly analyzed the phenomenon surrounding Kaito.

”Space.”

His eyes narrowed.

”The answer is space manipulation... isn’t it?!”

Kaito smiled before lowering Est, explaining for Sirzech to affirm his guess.

”That’s right. It’s one of my newer abilities. Unless an attack can overcome space itself, it would never reach me.” Kaito admitted.

In truth, Kaito’s makeshift Limitless consumed an astronomical amount of magical energy. In the past, maintaining such a technique would have been impossible... albeit

However, thanks to the Third Magic’s limitless supply of mana, its greatest weakness simply didn’t exist... the only limitation now is whether he can concentrate enough to mentally maintain it.

Seeing Kaito pause his assault temporarily, Sirzechs also stopped to catch his breath.

”...I see.”

A bitter smile appeared on Sirzech’s face. ”You’re truly a troublesome opponent, Kaito.”

”Thank you.” Kaito smiled back and teased, ”I warned you that you’d need to get serious.”

Sirzechs sighed, ”Believe it or not... I already am.”

”Then that’s unfortunate.” Kaito casually rested Est on his shoulder. ”I still have far more abilities that I haven’t shown you...However, as much as I promised you, Sirzech-sama... I don’t want this duel to drag on for hours or days.”

Although he plans to give Sirzech some face, it doesn’t mean Kaito wants to be stuck in this duel for days, or hours. Kaito’s plan is simple: forcing Sirzech to be desperate enough in a short time, realizing there’s no way for him to win in a protracted battle, so that he is forced to use his real trump card.

His true form.

From the original plot, Kaito knows well that Sirzech has the true form he can use, which is the biggest reason why he was hailed as the strongest Satan.

It’s also the form he uses that is even capable of injuring Trihexa, the beast of apocalypse, and Kaito is really curious how strong it’s actually.

If not for his promise, Kaito might already have tried throwing a dozen Gungnir instantly toward him, attempting to end the battle by overwhelming force.

Winning that way, however, would only humiliate Sirzechs before the entire Underworld, and Kaito has promised not to do that.

...

Knowing the fight goes nowhere, Kaito then suggested, ”Let’s end the fight as soon as possible.”

He pointed Est toward Sirzechs, ”Show me your true form, Sirzechs-san. I want to witness what the strongest Super Devil is truly capable of. Otherwise... you won’t be able to defeat me!”

Hearing Kaito’s provocative words, Sirzechs stared silently at him. ”...Now I am seriously curious how you get this strong, and how you know about it.”

”I can answer that after our duel is done and I get promoted in class,” Kaito promised.

Sirzech shook his head, ”I can tell you that you were already guaranteed to be promoted after this duel.”

”I know. But I also promise to defeat you, and I want to do it fairly. I doubt the audience would appreciate seeing the strongest Satan lose simply because he underestimated his opponent.”

Hearing Kaito’s answer, Sirzech frowned and fell silent, realizing Kaito was serious. Since the beginning of the second phase of their duel, he had never gained any upper hand against him.

His ordinary Destruction power couldn’t penetrate Kaito’s defense.

His physical attacks were useless.

Even his teleportation had accomplished nothing, and Kaito himself was capable of the same.

His instincts told him that Kaito’s ”Limitless” wasn’t merely a spatial barrier. He could tell that ’limitless’ space was a byproduct of something bordering on a conceptual phenomenon, not an actual spatial manipulation.

’This guy... how many abilities does he have? Especially as it relates to self-protection?’ Sirzech wondered.

To bypass such a thing, Sirzech knows he needs to use his ability that can break the space of conceptual ability, which perhaps the Demonic Bullets of Annihilation might do, but Kaito’s right hand is definitely able to counter that too.

”...You are right, Kaito.” Sirzech sighed, ”Then I will be serious. Be careful not to die.”

Ironically, Kaito was right, and Sirzech couldn’t avoid showing his full strength.

Losing before the entire Underworld without exhausting every option would have disastrous political consequences.

This leaves him with the last choice: to use his true form... the ultimate form of his mastery over destruction magic... which Sirzech himself is even unable to fully control... yet he has no choice but to use it.

He only hoped Ajuka’s arena could withstand what was about to happen.

*Inhale*

Taking a deep breath, Sirzechs released all restraint... And his body began dissolving into pure Destruction. And then the entire dimension trembled violently. An unimaginable wave of demonic power erupted from his body, causing space itself to distort.

...!!!

*BRRRRR*

Sirzechs compressed the Destruction into a human shape, releasing ten times more demonic power than even the original Lucifer.

So much that the whole dimension began to crack due to demonic energy alone... and everything touched by the expanding Destruction was slowly disintegrating.

*Crack* *Crack* *Crack*

...!!!

”Damn it, Sirzech! The venue wasn’t designed to withstand your full power!” Ajuka stood up and quickly took control of the arena manually.

Without hesitation, he poured his own demonic power into the dimensional barrier, manually reinforcing every layer to prevent the entire battlefield from collapsing.

If the dimension shattered... Everyone present would be exposed directly to Sirzechs’ destruction, which would be a terrible disaster!

...

”This is... I really... underestimated you, Sirzech-sama!”

Naturally, the one who was affected the most by his transformation was Kaito himself, who stood in front of Sirzech face to face.

The fact that his recreated Limitless began collapsing under the sheer weight of Sirzech’s aura alone, which means in his true form, Sirzech Destruction has already reached the threshold of conceptual power, aka 7*.

Just standing in front, he felt almost crushed by the demonic energy alone, making him feel suffocated. Although it still couldn’t compare to the terror Aiwass gave him back then, this situation was still really terrifying to him.

If not because of Imagine Breaker mixed in the Limitless Barrier barely maintaining his body from getting affected by destruction, Kaito was sure that he would be severely injured just by standing in front of Sirzech alone.

*Crack*

*Crack*

*Crack*

”Hahahaha! Let’s go all out, Sirzech-sama!”

However, instead of feeling fear and dread, Kaito couldn’t help but laugh and get excited about the situation.

Now, Sirzech has proven that he is already touching the 7* realm threshold like him; Kaito wanted to go all out to test his own limit.

The final phase of the fight soon began, and it would be the fight that shocked the entire supernatural world to the core.
