The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After a satisfying meal, Kaito, accompanied by Sakuya and Aika, guided the Phenex family and the Four Satans to explore the base world as promised. Of course, the first step was to visit Aincrad City, the closest location. Not to mention that this place also housed many important facilities, such as Lala and Kayaba’s lab (in Kouten), Aincrad Academy, the in-progress Aincrad castle, and Kaito’s residence, the world’s highest leader.

Obviously, everyone is also currently distinguished themselves from the public; otherwise, with the current popularity of Kaito and Aika, they would get swarmed really fast by those former cursed children and Misaka sisters that patrol the streets.

...

As they were teleported to the center of Aincrad, all the guests were shocked and amazed by the sight they saw. The beautiful-looking city with a medieval theme, with everything looking so clean and beautiful (thanks to the cleaning robot); no doubt anyone who comes here for the first time would be shocked.

”The energy here is so abundant, and the cityscape is so beautiful... it reminds me of medieval Europe,” Ajuka commented.

”That’s right... but why are there so many children?” Falbium had a strange expression. ”I already know their identities, but is this entire city full of them?”

Undoubtedly, as the center of the city during the day, many children are running around or doing business at the moment, which gives a strange impression that the kids are the ones who run this capital city.

...

”You introduced this place as the capital... yet I can sense that over 80% of the population is... underage girls.” Sirzechs was also confused, looking at Kaito questioningly.

”That’s right, Satan-sama, Kaito. I’m also curious about the state of this city, which is clearly not normal.” Lord Phenex added, ”You urged us to move to this world, specifically to this city. We have a right to know what’s going on in this city.”

”...”

Hearing all their astonished comments, Kaito scratched his head, ”It’s a long story, but the point is, this city is mostly filled with them... and even the city itself was originally built to accommodate these poor girls.”

”Poor girls?” Serafall quipped, ”What happened to them?”

”As my hubby said, it’s a long story.” Aika shrugged, ”Luckily, I’ve prepared a memory disc containing the history of every city in the world.”

As the leader of this activity, Aika had anticipated much of what would happen and had anticipated everything needed. The memory disc was one of Lala and Kayaba’s inventions, combining their neural and virtual knowledge... and was also inspired by the ’White Snake’ stand from JoJo. (Kaito had already uploaded many memories to the group chat for all members to view.)

”Aika... as expected of you. Thank you,” Kaito expressed his gratitude.

”It’s my duty to help you, leader,” Aika replied, then she handed out a ’white disc’ to each guest.

”A disk? What’s this?” Ajuka examined the disk curiously.

Aika explained, ”A device that allows the user to instantly retrieve memories of something directly into their brain... cutting out explanations, although the user might need time to digest all the information.”

”Another technology from another world? How do I use it?”

”Just stick it on your forehead, and the disk will automatically enter your mind.”

Hearing Aika’s instructions, all the guests did as she said. When the disk touched their foreheads, it immediately sank in, just like how the White Snake Stand discs work... and their minds were instantly filled with information about the history and cities of Base World. It also included information regarding all the people from other worlds, like a refugee from High School of the Dead in an anti-zombie city or Misaka sister / a small number of esper from Academy city.

...

”What an amazing invention.” Ajuka praised and turned to Kaito, commenting, ”Also, I didn’t expect there was a world like Black Bullet. I must say, trying to discriminate against people who they expect to protect them is really stupid.”

”Indeed. What a hateful world!” Serafall also quipped, ”You are doing a good job to save those kids. Those humans don’t deserve them.”

...

After learning the tragic backstory of those children, the devil’s group approved what Kaito and his friend did. They might be devil, but to learn what humans did in black bullet is even worse than most deranged devils do to reincarnated humans. They also learned what Kaito and his friend did in the Akame Ga Kill world and the High School of the Dead world too... which also greatly impressed them and made them look at him in a new light.

The fact that they are willing to do so much for the world that has nothing to do with them, albeit only to save and invite people to live in this world, made them believe Kaito and his friend have great personalities (they didn’t know about the chat group task).

...

”Given what you did to them, it’s no wonder you wanted to ’disguise yourself,’ as you must be very popular among them.” Sirzech teased.

”Of course... Especially Kaito, whose charisma attracts lolis,” Aika commented sarcastically.

”Oh? Is that so?” Riser added, ”No wonder Kaito is also interested in my sister. But I admit many of these little girls would grow up pretty. Those humans in that world must be blind and dumbfuck.”

”Ugh... big brother, stop saying something nonsensical, although I couldn’t deny that what Aika-san said was true.” Ravel also chimed in.

”...”

Hearing what they said, Kaito couldn’t retort and just endured it. Anyway, it’s useless for him to correct it, as he is also aware of how many little girls have affection toward him... as people can see how much he wanted to help former cursed children and Misaka sisters. Either way, they all had great lives in the end, and sacrificing his reputation for this result is really great.

With the agenda of exploring the base world, Kaito, Aika, and Ravel take the devil guests to the important facilities in the base world. The first stop is, of course, Aincrad Academy, a special academy run by Kaito himself that aims to provide free education to all underage citizens living in this world... especially former cursed children who have never been to school before.

Seeing the architecture that was even more luxurious than the palace in the underworld (similar to a castle in England), the luxury-loving devils (they were all noble) praised Kaito and his friends for their taste and sincerity in helping the former cursed children. Yet despite looking luxurious and elegant like a castle from the past, this academy is also equipped with many technologies that many devils have never seen before.

”Building a school with complete facilities plus elite teachers coming from various worlds, Kaito... you are truly generous.” Sirzech praised, seeing many ’children’ happily playing in the park from the office.

There’s so much happy and cheerful noise around them, giving a warm atmosphere unlike many aristocrating school that are usually strict and devoid of fun.

Kaito shook his head, ”I just want to do what they deserve. After all, in the future, the students at this school will become the foundation of this world and develop it... so I consider this a good investment.”

Falbium nods, ”That’s a great mindset. But I am curious how much it costs to run this kind of academy?”

”I don’t know, but we all covered it.” Kaito shrugged casually, ”For us who are the rules of this world, this was all nothing. Of course we do pay all the staff who are working here, don’t worry.”

...

Because this world operates under the full control of Kaito and the chat group members, the only real operating costs are chat group point consumption... and even then, they’re not particularly expensive and are mostly one-time. For example, when building a power plant, Kaito only needs to configure the world once to create a suitable geothermal spot, which is then built atop the power plant, and the resulting electricity is distributed to many areas in the base world.

Furthermore, the chat group members also collaborate. For example, in the construction of Aincrad Academy (which continues to expand), all materials are provided by Kaito, who has proven to be of high quality. Much of the construction work is done by Sakuya clones, with occasional assistance from Lala, Kayaba, and Nayuta on technological matters such as the security system, elevators, and basic school needs like bells and attendance systems. There’s also a hint of magic, especially in classes that normally only accommodate 40-50 people, was able to accommodate 200 people easily.

More importantly, the management of classes was helped by Aika, Manaka, and Kayaba working together. Without them, Kaito had no doubt he couldn’t make a system that could accommodate hundreds of thousands of children with different interests as fairly as possible. (It’s like the college system)

...

”Amazing.” Lord Phenex stated, ”If that’s the case, then can devils also attend this academy?”

”Assuming that the Devil race is willing to join, then sure,” Kaito nodded and said, ”In fact, not only cursed children... refugees from Highschool of the Dead and many uneducated people from Akame Ga Kill world also attended this school... It’s just cursed children outnumbered everyone here.”

Hearing Kaito’s invitation, the devils were deeply moved. While the education in the underworld was quite adequate for young devils, it clearly pales in comparison to Aincrad Academy, with its elite staff and comprehensive facilities. Sirzechs, in particular, strongly agreed with Kaito’s views on the younger generation and became even more interested in joining this world.

The only main concern would be discrimination that runs deep in devils’ blood, something that Sirzechs knows needs to be solved if they truly want to join here.

...

”Nee, Kaito, the teachers in this school come from experts in many different worlds, right?” Serafall excitedly asked.

”Of course, I wouldn’t lie about it.” Kaito nods. ”Why do you ask? Do you want to send your sister here?”

Serafall clapped excitedly, ”That’s a good idea! But what I want to ask is, can I also teach here?! I want to teach these cute girls!”

Hearing Serafall’s question, everyone raised their eyebrow in confusion, with Kaito inquiring, ”I mean, sure? You are hundred years old devil, so you must know a lot of knowledge, but what did you want to teach?”

”Magical girl subject! How to be a good magical girl and how to see the adult world and justice as a magical girl!”

””Pffft!!””

”No way!” Kaito rejected her idea adamantly, ”We don’t have magical girls here! And not me, I am not considering one myself!”

”Actually, we kinda do? Remember Nanoha and Fate-chan?” Aika corrected, ”If not because the device was bound to Nanoha and Fate and refused to let her experiment with their partner, Lala-san would already have experimented with them.”

If the device were successfully recreated and uniform, then Kaito admitted that letting children become magical girls to defend good and love wouldn’t be a bad thing... and Kaito has no reason to reject any children’s dreams of wanting to become magical girls.

”Mass-produced Magical Girl Device?” Ajuka quirked up, ”What’s this all about?”

Kaito then explained Lala’s idea to mass-produce ”magical girl devices”, tools that would allow anyone, including men, to transform into magical girls. These devices would enable people to better protect themselves, especially as the population looks toward exploring other worlds in the future.

Naturally, Kaito emphasized that the versions designed for men would have a different appearance, so they wouldn’t have to worry about cross-dressing or suffering ”social death.”

Ajuka was immediately intrigued by the concept, and Kaito welcomed his enthusiasm, realizing that Ajuka’s assistance could accelerate the device’s development. With that, the group headed to the laboratory... the facility where all the world’s inventions were created, with Lala, the lead scientist of the base world, also Kaito’s newest harem member.
