The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After the talks with Phenex Family concluded and proved successful, Kaito and the girls returned home to Tokyo... alongside Ravel, who followed along.

Lord Phenex did try to offer them to stay in Phenex Castle and even in any random mansion that Phenex owned in the Underworld, but all of them refused. Anyway, their engagement was promised to be scheduled for the next month after Kaito won his duel, and after that, they could explore the Underworld as much as they wanted.

Kaito also wanted to focus on his ”Rank Promotion” battle soon against Sirzech, so everyone understands he needs to be prepared. Although it feels guaranteed that Kaito is going to win, the problem is how he ”wins” it, and to ensure Kaito doesn’t embarrass Sirzech either during the process.

...

After arriving at their own home, Kaito directly lay on the sofa to relax.... After mentally exhausting talking with Ravel’s parents. Sakuya had already prepared a drink for her master to enjoy, and the girls also requested the same. Everyone was also exhausted from this ’serious’ talk, mainly because they were doing their best to be polite and not cause a bad impression on Ravel’s parents.

”Phew.. It was the most intense discussion I have ever had, far more than a discussion about a boss fight in SAO.” Kaito took a sip and said calmly, ”But I am glad it turned out to be okay.”

”I am sorry about my parents being willful.” Ravel apologized.

”It’s okay, Ravel. I have a good time talking with your family.” Kaito shook his head, ”And our goal was basically achieved.”

Manaka, who sits beside Kaito, suddenly pats his head, ”You did a good job, darling. You managed to convince Ravel’s parents to let her get engaged with us.”

”Kaito-san was so cool back then.” (Ravel)

”He’s done the best. Even I felt intimidated talking with Lord and Lady Phenex... They really know how to lead the talk.” (Aika)

”They are veteran with hundreds of years of experience, after all.” (Miya)

”Well... It was not without sacrifice. Now in this world, Ravel would be recognized as the main wife.” Kaito wryly smiled and curiously looked at everyone, ”I am  still surprised you guys accept such a request so easily, especially Aika and Manaka.”

Aika just shrugged and explained, ”I mean, there’s nothing we can do. Besides, it’s not a big deal. If you come to my world, then I will hold the main wife position in front of my brother.”

”I agree with Aika, no need to make a big fuss about it. We would do the same when you come to our world.” Manaka teased him, Or you really want us to fight each other?”

Aika nodded and added, ”What matters the most would be the main wife position in the base world, but I don’t think Kaito can decide that easily, right?”

...!!!

Everyone looked at Kaito, and Kaito just gave them a wry smile while opening his arm wide, ”Yeah... I treat everyone equally... so...”

”Except you clearly care more about Ravel-san.” (Aika)

”That’s because she once saved my life. Of course, I respect her a lot.”

”And you have touched Aika first.” (Manaka)

”Isn’t that because everyone agrees with it?”

”And there’s also Est...” (Sakuya)

”She’s my sister!” Kaito quickly resigned, ”Anyway! For now, I need to focus on the promotion duel and win it. Lord Phenex was already kind enough to sponsor us and took care of the political effect after the engagement.”

”Indeed. The Ravel family is already very good to us; you’d better not mess up.” Aika nodded in agreement and then curiously said, ”Speaking of Phenex family matter, I am surprised you didn’t suggest Lord Phenex to dissolve Riser’s engagement with Rias.”

”Ah... about that, I want to. But Ravel-sama herself told me not to.” Kaito answered.

””Hmm??””

”I asked Kaito not to do anything about it.” Ravel nods weakly and explains, ”Setting aside doing such a thing would make the future unpredictable. I think my brother really does need to grow up from that kind of experience.”

...

Having a good relationship with Ravel and now her parents, Kaito naturally wanted to tell Lord Phenex to dissolve his son’s engagement with Rias to avoid future embarrassment for their entire family. However, it was Ravel who got another idea and thought the process was necessary to change her older brother’s character... which Kaito admitted was true.

The current Riser is just too arrogant and makes Kaito want to punch his face every time they meet! Kaito knew the future Riser was quite likeable later on, hence he agreed to follow Ravel’s request.

...

”I guess it does make sense. Knowing your relationship with Riser, Kaito would definitely want him to suffer anyway.” Aika teased.

Kaito, scratching his head, easily admits it, ”Yeah... there’s no way I would forget the grudge about telling Serafall. Even if I am directly benefited from it.”

””Pffft.””

”So you don’t have an idea to kill the protagonist and steal the Red Dragon Emperor from him?” Manaka suddenly asked, genuinely curious about his answer, ”If you stole the sacred gear, wouldn’t doing it ensure that Ravel-san would get attracted to that guy? After all, Ravel-san is still a heroine in this world.”

”Hmmm...” Kaito paused for a second before shaking his head, ”No.”

”No?”

”I said no.” Kaito reaffirmed his answer, ”I admit the protagonist of this world is very perverted, but I don’t hate him that much. There’s no need to kill the protagonist and incite anger from this world will.”

”Besides, I doubt Ravel will get influenced by his status. She’s already part of us, you know.”

...

If Kaito could befriend a dumb protagonist like Satomi Rentaro, he definitely could befriend Issei Hyoudo. Set aside his pervertness, Issei is actually a pretty good guy, proven by how many male characters befriend him in the story. If anything, he kinda respected him; Issei is at least very honest with his desire and also willing to protect anyone close to him, similar to himself.

Fortunately for Kaito, his answer actually saved both protagonists in this world from being targeted by Root Princess, who had the idea to kill the protagonist.  Hence, for now, Manaka forgets her idea to kill both dragon emperor holders... not because she was scared of the world but because she doesn’t want Kaito to be angry with her.

...

”Alright.” Aika smiled and praised, ”I am glad that you are not being foolish. I thought you planned to recruit more women in this world.”

Kaito deadpanned, looked at her, ”I am not. Harem sounds nice, but it’s not that great when you already have too many women around!  I am already exhausted getting all the affection and care from all of you.”

””Pffft!!””

Everyone chuckled at Kaito’s response, finding his answer funny but also putting their heart at ease. It seems for now that Kaito has genuinely grown tired of getting close to more women, which is a good thing for each of them.

...

”Lastly, what is your plan for your duel with Sirzech?” Manaka asked again, ”Lord Phenex expected you to win, right? Because you promised him.”

”Yeah.” Kaito nods.

”How do you plan to defeat him, master?” Sakuya curiously asked.

”I have a lot of ways to defeat him, you all know what I’m capable of.” Kaito leisurely answered, ”Though to not to instantly kill him, I planned to play a bit with him.”

”Kaito, you shouldn’t underestimate, Sirzech-sama! Remember, he’s the man that called transcendent and participates actively in a war!” Ravel reprimanded.

”No, I am not looking down on or underestimating him.” Kaito shook his head and explained, ”It’s just my ability, mainly Imagine Breaker, apparently quite effective against abilities in this world, and I can render his destruction ability ineffective against me.”

”I promise you, Ravel-sama, I took the upcoming duel seriously, and I will win,” Kaito said with a determined tone.

...

Now with engagement matter technically was done, Kaito felt happy and could focus on the duel matters. For Kaito, Sirzech is definitely a formidable opponent, but Kaito thinks that he was not as difficult as Gilgamesh... who forced him to pull out a desperate move to sacrifice Est. The destruction ability will be his biggest problem to fight the Strongest Satan, but he believes that his Imagine Breaker definitely could cancel that out-- after all, his right hand could negate Aiwass’ attack, which is much more dangerous than mere destruction ability.

Kaito had no idea that this underrated promotion duel would make him feel miserable because Sirzechs turned out to be much stronger than he imagined.

...

”I see. I am glad you didn’t have a stupid idea to lose in the duel because you don’t want Sirzech to lose face.” Aika teased.

”No need to hide my strength. After all, the main reason why I agreed to duel Satan was that I needed to prove myself worthy of my position as Queen of Serafall.” Kaito answered

”Um! You should take the duel seriously, Kaito-san! Because I want everyone to know that I am engaged with an amazing person.” Ravel seriously suggested.

”It’s ’us’, Ravel-san. It’s us.” Manaka corrected.

”Don’t hold back, Kaito! We want to see your cool side!” Lala added.

”Master, do your best,” Akitsu suggested.

”I want to see the result of your training, Kaito-kun.” Miya also followed.

”I will broadcast the whole duel in the chat group, so you better not embarrass us as our leader~” Aika continued to tease.

”I guess I have no choice but to do my best within the week.” Kaito wryly smiled, facing all the expectations from the girls around him.

...

After that, Kaito retreated to his own ’workshop’ for training and planning for the upcoming battle, carrying the expectation from all the women around him. Knowing this duel would smooth the engagement party process, although Kaito think he won’t lose, he still took this matter seriously and start preparing for it.
