The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

After the promotion duel and the stuff of promoting the base world to the Devil race, Kaito finally had some free time... real free time for himself. Although there’s still a whole engagement party need to be prepared, he doesn’t do much about it. Because the girls wanted him to have proper rest and mentally prepare himself to ’engage’ with 6 women at the same time.

For the first time in a while, Kaito genuinely has nothing to do right now. He probably could train himself as usual, but that would incite ire from the girls.

And with the engagement party that was about to happen, Kaito didn’t want to offend any of his girls whatsoever.

As for being mentally prepared, that isn’t a problem; Kaito has accepted everyone a long time ago, even the most difficult ones, Manaka and the newest one, Lala.

Hence, in such a boring time... Kaito decided to do something that he had wanted to find out for a long time: find out his adoptive father’s identity... who he never met directly, yet always took care of him, whether through Vienna’s service as a maid or his financial freedom despite his bad luck.

For all of that, Kaito is genuinely grateful to his adoptive father; he really wants to meet him, get to know him, thank him in person, and invite him to his engagement party. He truly considers him the same as Ravel; without his support, Kaito has no doubt he could live properly until now in this dangerous world.

The only problem is that his adoptive father’s identity is too elusive; he thought that it was someone from the fallen angels, like maybe Azazel... but it’s proven to be impossible since, in that case, Azazel would already introduce himself to him and reveal his identity to him.

Thankfully, it’s not completely hopeless... because he always has the omnipotent tool to solve the case. His own chat group system.

...

’System, I want to know the identity of the man who adoptive me from the orphanage. How much would it cost?’

*DING*

[Calculating the cost...]

[The information about this subject is related to Owner’s next personal mission that will come after your engagement party]

[Congratulations in advance - adoptive Father]

????

Looking at the system’s answer, Kaito was genuinely surprised. Since his next mission would let him go to another world to solve his bottleneck issue, his adoptive father probably doesn’t even stay in the same world at all.

But how could he take care of his needs in this world... from a completely different world, nevertheless?

Kaito can only imagine his ’cheap father’ is at least an 8* powerhouse! Since only being at 8* can make it through their influence throughout the multiverse and even traverse through different worlds unless there’s a special method. It could be even 9* because, to some extent, even the chat group was affected by his adoptive father.

A powerhouse that’s in the same tier as his bad luck curse? Kaito wondered why this ’adoptive father’ doesn’t solve his curse.

’System, tell me regardless of the cost... my adoptive father doesn’t even belong to this world?’

[No Point Needed. And the answer is ”Yes”.]

’But his influence can even reach this world?’

[Owner’s adoptive ’Father’ is a great powerhouse with some relationship with a top powerhouse of this world.]

’Relationship? Top powerhouse of this world? Like the Great Red?’

[Please pay 50.000 points to reveal the information because it’s related to the deepest secret of this world and the owner’s origin.]

’Damn it, now you’re suddenly asking for points? And it’s even damn more expensive than the teleportation ability back then!’

...

Looking at the cost, Kaito was stunned, but more importantly, he was deeply curious about this. Besides, he really wanted to know what’s going on with his adoptive father, and if he’s really a powerhouse, Kaito wondered if he could find the truth about his ’misfortune curse’?

’What kind of mind-blowing information costs me more than the price of the Teleportation ability... but alright, I agree!’

[50.000 points have been deducted. Generating the answer...]

[Your adoptive father is a ’World Will’ persona, or True God of a Different World.  Then he ’married’ the God of the Bible, a ’Embryo World Will’ from High School DxD. After being saved by your adoptive father after the War in this world, the God of Bibble fell in love with him and decided to escape the world and fake her death so she could be together with him forever. With that said, as a powerhouse anchored to this world, the God of Bibble never truly left this world; otherwise, the heaven realm would have collapsed long ago. Within the heaven faction, some angels know this truth and still communicate with the God of the Bible, who leaves some of her connection with them.]

[One of them is Vienna. She’s the new-generation angel created and developed personally by the God of the Bible in Seraph rank that is comparable to 7* mid rank, who’s hiding deeply from the truth of the world itself.]

”...”

”WHAT. THE. FUCK?”

Even though he’s currently alone in his own room, Kaito couldn’t help but yell and hang his head in shock that he had never experienced before. Thankfully, his room was soundproof; otherwise, it would definitely have alerted other residents who currently also stay in the wooden mansion.

”Wait, you say the God of the Bible is not dead? God of the Bible is a woman, and she is actually my adoptive stepmother?! And Vienna is an angel... and an angel almost at the level of Aiwass! But what the fuck, new generation angel?!”

”My adoptive dad is a world will! That’s awesome, but why doesn’t he let me live in his world instead of keeping me alive in this dangerous world!?”

”My father is a world will, my stepmother is the damn God of the Bible, and I am their son is a reincarnated devil... what kind of family is this?”

”Man, I hope those angels didn’t learn this information; otherwise, I am sure all of them were pissed because their creator ran away with my father!”

”I don’t even know where I start complaining anymore; no wonder it cost me 50.000 points! God damn it, everyone is a pretender! Are you a pretender too, system?! Like you were actually some entity that plays with me instead of an actual system?!”

*DING*

[No. The detailed answer needs a trillion points to answer. For that particular question, naturally both your Father and Mother know about it, and they also feel complicated about it.]

...

Learning all of this, Kaito feels exhausted already even though this is supposed to be his rest period. Now his thoughts couldn’t help but wonder if his adoptive father is the one who placed the curse on him and why he doesn’t let him live in his own world.

”So, what kind of high-level world does my adoptive father live in? More dangerous than the Index world? Some high-level cultivation world? Little Garden? Ultraman? Tell me, so I need to prepare my mind.”

[No. Owner’s adoptive father lives in the Comprehensive Ordinary Daily Life of Anime world, mainly.]

”...Comprehensive Ordinary Daily Life of Anime world?”

[A world that is mixed with many daily lives of anime series you know, like Saekano, Oregairu, Oreimo, Bunny Girl Senpai, Your Lie in April, etc.]

”Hah?!”

Even though he’s already been surprised repeatedly by the many life-changing pieces of information, it seems Kaito still gets surprised by all this information provided by the system. Kaito starts to wonder why the system has been hiding this kind of info the entire time since the chat group was established. The system probably could reveal something

”I got so many questions, but why could an ordinary world have a world will of 9* powerhouse?!”

Kaito has learned the fact that not every ’world will’ was equal. For example, many worlds with less or nonexistent supernatural elements have very weak world will that couldn’t even change their own world directly; thus, the chat group usually accepts the mission and lets the members work for it. A direct example was the SAO world. Meanwhile, worlds with heavy magic elements usually have a very strong world will that could affect their planet/law directly-- like Nasuverse, aka the Fate world, whose root itself has been identified as an 8* powerhouse.

But an ordinary daily world with a 9* powerhouse? Doesn’t it mean his adoptive father can do anything he wants to do in his own world?

[Answer: It is also mixed with many dangerous elements like Nurahriyon, Inuyasha, Jujutsu Kaisen, and many others. Many types of spiritual elements.]

”Hmm... I see...” Kaito hummed and looked deadpan. ”Are you serious? Anyone in 9* can kill any of those elements with a mere glance, okay? So that world should be relatively safe then. What’s the most dangerous thing in that world anyway? Sukuna? I could kill him instantly with Gungnir, okay?”

[One of them is the Scarlet King, SCP-01. Further detailed answers require millions of points to answer.]

”...It has SCP?! One of them?! What next? Backroom? What kind of Ordinary is that?”

Kaito literally jumped out of bed upon hearing the answer. He thought it was just a daily anime world, and SCP matter was definitely not anime stuff.

If it truly contains many SCPs and Backrooms anomalies in that world, there’s no doubt it would be the most dangerous world to visit.

[Yes. But don’t worry, your adoptive father will take care of any threat above 7*. But given your curse, it wouldn’t be surprising if you accidentally get into the Backrooms.]

”Great. Now I understand why he would be so strong. If such an entity exists in the world yet the world still lives normally, my adoptive father is definitely a big shot.” Kaito nodded, starting to understand why his adoptive father could be so strong. ”So, can you tell me, since that dangerous world is supposedly my next mission world, what I am gonna do in there?”

[The answer: Finding your father will be your main mission in that world.]

”Huh? He still doesn’t want to meet me? What am I? My name isn’t Gon Freecss.” Kaito retorted. ”And how the fuck would finding him help me improve my strength?”

[He will give you a clue when you arrive in his world.]

”Doesn’t help much. But I guess I won’t have a choice.” Kaito sighed. ”Is there any catch?”

[Once you find your father, he promises to let you advance to a 7* powerhouse and learn some truth about your reincarnation.]

”I am not shocked anymore,” Kaito commented tiredly, as he was too tired to complain further. ”Of course he does. He’s a world will. Can you just tell me the information?”

[Requires 100 million points. Point insufficient]

”...Whatever. Regardless, it’s not like I can talk about this right now to everyone.” Kaito muttered in distress.

Naturally, Kaito didn’t plan to tell his chat group family all the information yet. The girls and chat group members were busy with the engagement party, and he was concerned that sharing all the ’shocking information’ would just distract them. It’s only a month of waiting anyway, and the girls’ matter is obviously more important.

Heck, since the next mission is a considerably ’safe’ ordinary daily anime world, perhaps he could bring all the girls with him to have a honeymoon there; assuming there’s no member limit on the mission.

The only thing that Kaito regrets is that it’s obvious that this adoptive father is going to miss his engagement party.
