The Misfortune Adventure Of Dimensional Chat Group Owner

The next day, after accepting Ravel’s request, Kaito and his group went to the Underworld together to help convince Ravel’s parents and siblings. Kaito, who has a memory of the Phenex Castle location, can teleport directly there with everyone instead of taking the underworld train.

Since it’s a formal first meeting with the Ravel parent, Everyone also got ready by dressing neatly and uniformly. Kaito decided to wear a black suit, black trousers with a white inner, and a red tie. While the girls all wore light golden dresses without shoulders, silver shoes with long skirts that almost reached their feet, giving a ”princess” appearance.

The girls with long hair also agreed to tie their hair and clump it behind, because almost all the girls around Kaito had long hair (except Manaka, but she could manipulate her appearance to be the same).

*Blink*

...!!

The moment everyone appeared in the Underworld in front of Phenex Castle, everyone was naturally looking around and immediately feeling the difference in the air between the surface and here.

”There’s so much more energy in the air, yet it really looks like Earth. Ajuka was really amazing to create it.” Aika commented.

”Umm! I wonder how they made the moon in the sky! I know it’s fake, but it looks so real! I want to learn!” Lala also exclaimed.

”That’s the main reason why I intend to bring the devil race to the base world, because Ajuka could contribute to our world development.” Kaito nods in agreement, ”We really do need someone that capable of making magical technology. Perhaps, we could invite Azazel too later on.”

...

The sky of the Underworld was originally purple during both the day and night, but the current Four Great Satans adjusted the flow of time to match it in the human world for the sake of the reincarnated Devils. Ajuka reproduced an artificial moon using Demonic Power and made the night’s darkness the same as the human world, showing how capable they are, and with their knowledge, they could definitely help with the base world development.

Manaka also nods in agreement, but then points her finger out, ”I could summon a servant like Da Vinci to help, but let’s talk about it later since Ravel is already coming.”

?!?!

Noticing their coming from inside the castle, Ravel hurriedly ran toward her ’sisters’, greeted them enthusiastically by hugging them one by one, ”Welcome to the Underworld, everyone!”

”Hello, Ravel-chan~” (Manaka)

”Ravel-san, we are to fulfill the promise.” (Aika)

”It seems you were also prepared, Ravel-san.” (Sakuya)

Kaito nods in agreement, also greets her back,  ”Ravel, how are you doing? You seem to be very happy.”

Unlike the girls, Ravel was wearing a golden dress that almost matched her hair color, complete with golden bracelets and shoes... which Kaito admits fits her really well.

...

”Um! I missed my family quite a bit and spent some time with them.” Ravel responded with a blush, ”My parents are already waiting for us inside, and we have prepared some appetizers for everyone to enjoy.”

”That’s good to hear. But let’s not make her parents wait.” Aika responded with a smile, ”We couldn’t make a bad impression for your parent isn’t it? After all, we are here to confirm our relationship together.”

”Kaito-kun, as our leader, you should walk in front of everyone.” (Miya)

”That’s right. You have stayed in this place, you should be more familiar with this place than us.” (Manaka)

”Master, should lead us.” (Sakuya)

*Sigh*

Seeing the girls forcing him to act, Kaito just wryly smiled and felt slightly nervous, ”Honestly, I was kind of afraid of making a bad impression. After all, I had never met your parents before, Ravel-sama.”

Although he had met all the Riser peerage members back then, it was only a few days that he stayed in this place before the chat group things happened. Kaito had seen Ravel’s parents while they were sitting in the main area, but back then, he was just a low-rank reincarnated devil that no one really cared about.

...

”It’s okay! They were all good person! Even my brother spoke highly about you.” Ravel reassured him, understanding his predicament.

Hearing Riser would speak about him, Kaito rolled his eyes, ”I doubt it was sincere. That guy literally sold me to Serafall!”

””Pffft!!”” (Everyone)

Just to separate him from his peerage, Riser literally informs Serafall Leviathan of his existence! Kaito also does not doubt that Serafall definitely gives Riser a lot of benefits, as that magical girl freak literally made him his queen just because he can transform into a magical girl!

Following Ravel’s lead, Kaito and everyone else entered the castle to meet Ravel’s parents. When they entered the prepared room, they were all amazed because they arrived at a long living room with a table that looked very much like the banquet room in the wooden mansion chat group. However, the atmosphere was very different, because this was the Phenex family castle; both the walls and floors had a red theme mixed with orange, giving the impression of ”fire”-- as expected of the Phenex family.

”...”

On the furthest side from the door where Kaito came from, already sitting there, Lord Phenex and Lady Phenex, Ravel’s parents... and on the other side, there’s Riser and Ruval, the eldest son of the Phenex clan that Kaito had never seen before. As expected for a family, both Lord Phenex and Lady Phenex have appearances very similar to Riser and Ravel in adult looks.

All of them were wearing similar attire to Ravel; either a light golden tuxedo for the male and the same (just larger) light golden dress for Lady Phenex.

It seems that Ravel engagement news was really important, as almost every Phenex family member is here and for them to wear in ”family” outfit.

...

”Father, Mother, I have brought Kaito and everyone else.” Ravel greeted her parents politely and then told Kaito and others to sit down. Ravel naturally sits beside her parents, with Kaito also sitting beside her since he’s the main star. As for the rest of the girls, they naturally filled the rest of the seats, with Sakuya being furthest from Kaito.

”Greeting, Lord Phenex and Lady Phenex.” Kaito greeted them politely.

Lord Phenex and Lady Phenex nod at him, with Lord Phenex asking, ”You are Kaito, right? The man that Ravel has chosen to be with. Ravel has talked a lot about you.”

Kaito was unsure how to answer, so he simply nodded and replied, ”Yes, Lord Phenex. Ravel-sama has also helped me a lot. Without her help, I don’t think I would even have a chance to stand here.”

...

Hearing Kaito speak with respect and good manners, every girl couldn’t help but feel amazed and wanted to tease him. However, they also know that it’s not the time, especially since they were all standing before Ravel’s parents. On the other side, Riser also looked at the girls around Kaito and could tell each of them was really dangerous-- and started to respect Kaito for his skill of gathering a harem.

...

”Indeed. We have learned from both Riser and Ravel about you, and we have also investigated your background a little bit. You are truly an unfortunate kid.”

”...”

It’s not surprising that a rich family like the Phenex family would easily investigate his life, so Kaito wasn’t surprised; he just didn’t like getting pitied.

”I-It’s okay. At least, I think I was very lucky to be saved by Ravel-sama back then.”

Riser then also commented, ”Don’t forget about me, too, Kaito. It was my pieces that you were using.”

Kaito nods, acknowledging that Riser indeed took a big part in that, ”I-Indeed. I am also very thankful for Riser-sama’s benevolent attitude toward me back then.”

”Heh... don’t mention it. Your identity really helps me a lot to gain favor from Satan, so I should also say thank you to you.”

?!?!

Kaito really wants to punch Riser’s face for that sentence, but he also realized that without his negotiation, there’s no way he would suddenly rise in rank to become queen of Serafall Leviathan.

*Cough*

”Anyway, stop calling us with respect, Kaito.” Lord Phenex suggested, ”With your current strength and status, your status should be equal to or above mine here.”

Kaito shook his head and explained, ”It’s natural for me to give respect to the Phenex family, since Ravel-sama, the woman I love, is also part of the Phenex family.”

”Heh! You really know how to talk, huh? I am really glad that I am getting you out of my peerage.” Riser made a snarky comment while glaring at Kaito, ”Honestly, I really want to punch you right now, because you just stole my sisters away from me!”

...!!!???!!!

Unknown to Riser, Kaito also has mutual feelings... as he still really wants to punch Riser for Serafall matters!

Fortunately, Ruval, the eldest son of the Phenex family, decided to intervene in the conversation; he realized Riser might get beaten by Kaito at this rate. ”Riser, you should stop talking. Kaito-kun here is our guest, and our future would be interlinked with him.”

”Besides, if all the stories that Ravel said were correct, none of us would be his opponent.”

”Tch, I know. I just didn’t like the fact that the boy I picked up in a few days suddenly became a powerhouse.” Riser complained.

As a member of the Phenex family, he was naturally also sensitive to life energy, and could tell Kaito’s energy was literally infinite... so he knew that at this point, Riser definitely wasn’t his opponent.

*Cough*

Realizing the topic went astray, Lord Phenex coughed and then said with a serious tone, ”I am sorry for my son’s rudeness, Kaito-kun. May I call you that?”

”Yes, Lord Phenex.”

”You know why we call you here, right?” Lord Phenex stated while scanning the rest of the girls that followed him, ”To be honest, when we heard that our daughter wanted to get engaged with you, it was shocking news!”

”But when she asked to prepare an engagement party for the other 6 girls... we were really curious how our daughter was willing to engage with you?”

”Did you hypnotize her? Or brainwashing her? It’s only after we learn about your real identity that we can finally somewhat accept you.”

””Pffft!!””

Kaito and Ravel looked embarrassed after hearing it, with some of the girls snickering behind him. They can understand that such a request definitely sounds absurd, especially in Ravel’s parents’ eyes, since Kaito has just met Ravel for a few days (in this world).

”Kaito-kun.”

...!!!

”Y-Yes?”

Lord Phenex rubbed his chin and stated, ”Set aside your identity; we don’t really care whether Ravel has a lot of sisters, but we can only accept the relationship if you are willing to promise us two things.”

”What is it?” Kaito asked.

”First, make Ravel status as your main ’official couple’ in this world. We don’t care about her status in the other world, but in here, I hope you’re willing to do it due to political reasons. The second is our daughter’s safety. I want you to promise to always keep Ravel safe and make her happy to follow you.”

”...”

Hearing Lord Phenex’s request, Kaito naturally couldn’t decide it alone. However, at that moment, Aika, who sits beside him, gives him a nod, indicating that it seems to be okay... then he is surprised to see the rest of the girls nodding along. Being curious, he quickly asked her in the chat group... and surprisingly, this meeting seems to be broadcast too, with everyone currently watching.

====

[Owner]: ”Wow... you guys are really watching it together, but Aika, is it really okay? To make Ravel the main wife.”

[Mage of Exodus]: ”It is okay. It’s only applied to this world anyway, and besides that, Ravel holds a position that none of us couldn’t beat in your heart.”

[Scarlet Devil Headmaid]: ”I don’t care about the main wife position. I only care about my status as your private maid, master.”

[Queen of Sekirei]: ”As a sekirei, having Ashikabi by my side was enough.”

[Sekirei Number 7]: ”Me too.”

[Root Princess]: ”I don’t like it, but again, it’s Ravel-san, and just in this world, so I’m also willing to give in.”

[Alien Princess]: ”I never care about such things as long as Kaito-kun is always beside me.”

[Owner]: ”Everyone... thank you.”

[Owner Favorite Girl]: ”I am so sorry about my father’s request.”

[God Tongue]: ”As someone who came from a rich family, I understand Lord Phenex’s reason. It would be embarrassing if her daughter got engaged as a concubine even though they are the ones who host the engagement party.”

[Owner]: ”That does make sense. I forget devil society put importance on nobility and status.”

[Caped Baldy]: ”Just make sure to invite everyone to the party. I am curious what Devil’s Food is like.”

[God Tongue]: ”Me too! I’m also curious!”

[Musician of Red Hair Pirates]: ”I am also willing to sing at the party!”

[Root Princess]: ”More importantly, go back to reality and answer Lord Phenex. You have been staring at Aika for too long.”

[Owner]: ”Ah crap!”

=====

...

”Kaito-kun, are you okay?”

Realizing even Lord Phenex and everyone looked at him with confusion, Kaito quickly turned to him and apologized, ”Ah, I am sorry, Lord Phenex, I was asking the opinion about it with the girls...”

???

”A method of communication from another world?” Lord Phenex guessed.

”You can say it like that, Lord Phenex. But more importantly, I have come up with an answer.” Kaito looked at him seriously and then stated, ”Yes, I can promise you that. I am willing to marry Ravel and make her my main partner in this world.”

”I will also ensure Ravel will stay safe and happy with me, so please let me have your daughter.”

...

Hearing Kaito answer, everyone in the Phenex family looks relieved... even Riser gives an acknowledgement to his answer (albeit still wants to punch him).

After that, the conversation became more lively and fluid, with the girls joining in... mainly talking about Kaito’s character and experiences. Kaito and everyone also talked about the ”other world,” explaining its advantages and making all the members of the Phenex family interested in visiting it.

Kaito even asked Lord Phenex to help him speak with Satan because he wanted to negotiate the possibility of the Devil race’s migration to their world.

Of course, hearing such a deal, Lord Phenex easily agreed. As someone who lived in the pre-Four New Satan era, he knew all too well that the Underworld actually had its share of problems, wasn’t as fertile as the surface, and wasn’t its own (grim reapers and fallen angels were living there too).

Lord Phenex was confident the whole devil race would be willing to move if there was a better place to live in.
