Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 1431: Chapter 53: Black Bee

A large number of temporary tents are set up near St. Limen Fortress, with soldiers chatting in groups of threes and fives. Some are sitting on tanks, and even on ammunition boxes.

Su Xiao walked towards the outside of the camp, and the little assistant, who was sitting on the tank barrel and swinging her legs, jumped off.

”Sir, what are you doing?”

Noticing the direction Su Xiao was heading, the little assistant looked puzzled. It was the direction towards Geya Alliance’s territory.

”Going to do something that must be done.”

”A task from the superiors?”

The little assistant picked up the sniper rifle placed on the tank, preparing to accompany Su Xiao on the mission.

”No, it’s personal business.”

Su Xiao turned his head to look at the little assistant, who froze for a moment before showing a smile.

”Sir, your gun.”

”That’s yours now.”

Su Xiao didn’t plan to take the gun. He was already considered abandoning his post by leaving the camp, and taking the gun might lead Skardine to come after him. Besides, compared to the Duke of Extinction’s performance, the sniper rifle was quite ordinary, with cheap ammunition as its only advantage.

When dealing with enemy Contractors, the cost of ammunition should never be considered. That’s like picking up sesame seeds and losing watermelons. If one shot doesn’t kill, consequences would be vast, and not just the loss of a few bullets.

The little assistant, shrewd and quick-witted, realized something was off immediately.

”But... we just successfully assassinated Du Bo · Yi Si and haven’t gone back for our medals.”

”The credit is all yours.”

Although Su Xiao didn’t take the Mr·24 sniper rifle, he obtained the concoction method for white gunpowder, a powerful explosive he wouldn’t miss.

”Uh~”

The little assistant scratched her head.

”This... I’m not too bright, Sir, are you planning to betray the country?”

The moment she said this, she instinctively took a few steps back, fearing Su Xiao might hang her up and lash her. There was a time she did something foolish and almost got kicked to death.

Upon hearing this, Bubu Wang sighed. This girl was unexpectedly forthright.

”...”

Su Xiao looked at the little assistant expressionlessly, and her posture gradually turned upright, her expression growing increasingly unnatural.

”Officer, I was out of line. Betraying the country is absolutely impossible, hahaha... hahaha, hahaha.”

The little assistant laughed awkwardly as Su Xiao took Bubu Wang and walked out of the camp.

After Su Xiao’s figure completely disappeared, the little assistant scratched her head.

”Leaving the battlefield now, your officer is considered deserting.”

A soldier, holding a cigarette in his mouth with an amputated arm, spoke.

”Did you see him abandon his post?”

The little assistant gave a smiling glance at the one-armed soldier, who froze in response.

”Seems like... I didn’t.”

”If you didn’t, go cool off elsewhere. I’m exhausted, need to sleep.”

The little assistant yawned and walked into a temporary tent. She had long been aware of certain things, but knew they must never be spoken aloud.

Su Xiao quickly left the camp. He still belonged to the Slaughter Troop, allowing him some freedom of action.

From the start, Su Xiao never intended to take the little assistant to ’West Sisbane’ or ’Extreme North·Jungle of Hot Rainforest.’ The little assistant was a soldier of Geya Alliance, and her relatives and family lived within it. Her greatest pride was her 17-year-old sister with a musical gift; much of the reason she fought so hard was to ensure her sister wouldn’t end up like her, only adept at killing.

As a mentally sound adult, even having experienced life and death together, the little assistant wouldn’t betray the Geya Alliance and abandon her family to carry out tasks with Su Xiao.

Though her brain sometimes ’short-circuits,’ if leaving the battle to go somewhere unrelated to war, she would certainly sense abnormalities, likely leading to a falling out.

Never underestimate the loyalty of a soldier. The little assistant has risked her life in battles, always prepared mentally to die on the battlefield and have her body presented to family draped in the national flag.

Su Xiao doesn’t believe he has the kind of ’charisma personality’ that would cause others to abandon their country and family for him.

If he were to lead the little assistant to ’Extreme North·Jungle of Hot Rainforest,’ the most probable outcome would be her shooting him in the back when he’s not paying attention, and returning with his body to Geya Alliance—perhaps finding a secluded place to cry first. It’s human nature and the responsibility of a soldier, as Skardine put it, being a soldier is not a privilege but a duty.

The little assistant was indeed a soldier, with the rank of sergeant, having killed 178 enemies.

...

A day later, at a coastal city within Geya Alliance.

A tall figure pushed open the door of a restaurant, clad in a black robe with a hood, accompanied by two other hooded figures similarly dressed.

”Guests, welcome...”

The restaurant staff instinctively stepped back a few paces. The first impression these three hooded people gave was: ’They are definitely not good people.’

”A Mu is hungry.”

A straightforward voice came from under the hood.

”We’re at a restaurant now, bear with it.”

The three figures sat down, pulling back their hoods to reveal the trio of Su Xiao, Bubu Wang, and A Mu. A Mu had reunited with Su Xiao, while the Icefield Wolf Pack was now led by Scar Eye Icefield Wolf.

Su Xiao wouldn’t easily deploy these Icefield Wolves; such a large pack of thousands was far too conspicuous.

His first destination was West Sisbane. He didn’t directly head to Extreme North·Jungle of Hot Rainforest.

Based on his judgment, the Apocalypse Paradise faction wouldn’t rush to ’Extreme North·Jungle of Hot Rainforest.’ Upon arrival, the advantage of holding the World Core would vanish, and they would face attacks from the other two factions.

Contractors from Reincarnation Paradise and Holy Sanctuary Paradise Faction held certain positions or influence in the Geya Alliance or Sun Kingdom. Likewise, the Apocalypse Paradise faction, entrenched in West Sisbane for years, would infiltrate West Sisbane to some extent, gaining real power or status.

Thinking rationally, it would be more advantageous to guard West Sisbane rather than having chaotic battles in Extreme North·Jungle of Hot Rainforest.

Not only for Su Xiao but also for Gulu, Qing Ye, the People’s Teacher, Ghost Lady, Mizaki, Old Smoke, and others, they all headed towards West Sisbane territory, making the war channel quite lively.

Su Xiao wasn’t sure whether Holy Sanctuary Paradise and Apocalypse Paradise had a war channel, but for the Reincarnation Paradise faction, any Contractor could speak via text in the war channel, limited by the number of times they could do so.

Regular Contractors could speak 10 times, Adventure team leaders of small to medium teams could speak 20 times, and large adventure team leaders could speak 30 times.

Su Xiao still had 20 speaking opportunities, none used thus far.

Within the war channel:

Solomon (Loner): ”Known Information: Current holder of World Core, Apocalypse Paradise Contractor Black Bee.

Black Bee: 31 years old, male.

Location: Lubei City, West Sisbane.

Preferences: Extremely spicy food, standing at heights, mature women aged 26-30.

Abilities: Space System Capability, can summon an unknown breed of Black Bee with potent toxicity (suspected Element type toxicity).”

[Note: This is a key intelligence speech and will remain pinned in the war channel for 12 hours.]
