Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 1430: Chapter 52: Extreme North

In the West Sisbane area, inside a natural crystal cave of the Jilu Mine.

A few Contractors from Apocalypse Paradise stood together, a transparent crystal floating in their midst. The crystal was about the size of a fist, its interior chaotic, and staring at it for just a few seconds could induce dizziness.

”Is this... the World Core?”

An old man wearing a miner’s lamp hat and holding a high-tech mining shovel stared blankly at the World Core; he had been looking at it for a few minutes.

”What do we do? We just wanted to dig some rare ores, how did we end up digging up this thing? Holy Sanctuary Paradise is not easy to mess with, and Reincarnation Paradise is even more of a madman’s hub. I don’t want to fight them, we’re all prepared for the attribute deductions from mission failure.”

A little girl looked up, gazing at the World Core for a long time as well.

”Why don’t we... just pretend we didn’t see it. Last time, during the World Struggle War, I just slipped through, and those Warring Factions eventually won.”

”Are you kidding? Leaving it alone like this may get us executed, besides... discovering this thing comes with a hefty reward. Aren’t you tempted?”

”Very tempted, but those two sides will definitely rush in for it. If it’s two against one...”

”Don’t say any more, I have images running through my mind.”

The few surrounded the World Core, belonging to the early stage of Tier Four Contractors, and were quite Buddha Nature in style, often completing tasks with a very low rating each world they experienced, primarily profiting by finding rare resources, thus earning a considerable amount.

Such small teams were not uncommon in the relatively gentle Apocalypse Paradise. They were somewhat similar to Workers, but their combat skills were much stronger than Workers.

Contractors from Reincarnation Paradise and Workers are two extremes. One side battles in blood and fire, while the other faces lower risk and has fewer paths to become stronger. Both are indispensable.

”How about... handing it over to Black Bee? That guy really wants to fight someone from either Reincarnation Paradise or Holy Sanctuary Paradise.”

”Good idea.”

”Just handing it over like that? Isn’t it kind of... ”

”Don’t hesitate, once this thing is excavated, it can be located by all Contractors.”

”It is happily decided then, hand it over to Black Bee.”

As the group was discussing, the space surged, and a figure appeared inside the mine tunnel.

”Bl-Black Bee.”

The little girl in the team retreated a few steps and hid behind the old man.

”You found it?”

The man who appeared out of thin air spoke, his voice having a metallic quality, and both of his arms were metal constructs.

”That’s right.”

The old man with the miner’s lamp hat was noticeably calmer, aware that although Black Bee was capricious, he wouldn’t be insane enough to attack their own Contractors.

”Hand it over.”

Black Bee extended a metal arm, and after a moment’s hesitation, the old man handed the World Core to Black Bee.

Space-time power surged again, forming into a vortex, with a swarm of Black Bees flying near it, and the man known as Black Bee disappeared.

...

Sun Kingdom, Divine Court, inside a bedroom.

A woman wearing a gold robe and hood sat on a wooden chair.

”Have you decided? How would you like to die? I can offer you a dignified death.”

The woman’s voice was gentle, yet her words sought to take a life.

”Madam Shenai, I just...”

The woman waved her hand: ”I am asking how you wish to die, don’t answer irrelevantly. God is listening to our conversations, just tell it directly how you wish to die.”

”...”

The cheek of the man kneeling on the ground twitched.

”Shenai, if you kill me, no one will follow you anymore.”

The man lifted his head, making eye contact with the woman named Shenai.

”Truth is, I don’t want to kill you. A tool like you is hard to come by, but just as you said, if you don’t die, how can I lead the masses.”

Shenai took out a piece of parchment, and the man kneeling on one knee suddenly wanted to stand up, several golden rings appeared around him, binding him.

With a ripping sound, the parchment was torn, and the man’s complexion quickly turned gray, his body shattering like paper.

”Let... them go.”

With a thud, the man fell to the ground, and strangely, Shenai was not punished despite killing their own personnel.

”The World Core is actually within the West Sisbane area, finally I don’t have to be tangled with that Troublemaker, that...”

Shenai seemed to want to curse while reconsidering that it was not proper, she withdrew her words about to spill forth.

Meanwhile, inside an office of the Divine Court.

”Calling me a Troublemaker, but you’re the actual trouble.”

Qing Ye smiled while holding a glass of wine, his plan interrupted, it was unavoidable since once someone discovers the World Core, the battle dynamics shift instantly.

If someone discovers the World Core, it means a Contractor free-for-all is about to start.

At present, the situation looks chaotic, no large-scale battles have occurred among the three parties, but actually, the situation is quite clear.

The Reincarnation Paradise faction cannot collaborate with any party, and no one dares to collaborate with them either. Whoever holds the World Core, Reincarnation Paradise’s Contractors will target them. For example, right now Apocalypse Paradise holds the World Core, making them the biggest enemy.

Holy Sanctuary Paradise is similar. Whoever holds the World Core, they’re targeted, and collaboration with Reincarnation Paradise isn’t possible; Qing Ye has almost got them so worked up they’re coughing blood.

Apocalypse Paradise is much simpler, aside from the few Warring Faction members, their attitude is: you guys fight amongst each other, don’t target us; whoever wins, they will consider whether they can fight them; if not, they will make a token effort to avoid punishment for lackluster combat.

At present, the World Source is in the hands of Apocalypse Paradise; their strongest, Black Bee, is clearly confident in handling both Reincarnation Paradise and Holy Sanctuary Paradise. In the last World Struggle War, the world Black Bee was in resulted in a victory for Apocalypse Paradise.

Of course, Black Bee is not overconfident; his plan is to ally with Holy Sanctuary Paradise to first resolve the most troublesome Reincarnation Paradise, and then fight it out afterwards.

However, at present, the Geya Alliance Forces are pressing upon them, and it will take the Contractors from Holy Sanctuary Paradise some time to leave the Sun Kingdom territory, while the Contractors from Reincarnation Paradise are on the advantageous side within the Geya Alliance, making it relatively easy for them to disengage from the battlefield.

...

St. Limen Fortress, beside a semi-collapsed concrete trench.

Su Xiao held a bowl of meat soup while checking the hints given by Reincarnation Paradise.

[Announcement: A Contractor is now holding the World Core.]

[The World Core must be delivered to: Extreme North·Jungle of Hot Rainforest within 15 natural days.]

[Hot Rainforest Forest: Located at the center of the Blue Sea Star, upon arriving at Hot Rainforest Forest, the World Core can be placed at a specific location and form the World Coordinates. During the Coordinate formation, guardianship is required to prevent other two factions’ Contractors from taking the World Core. If the World Coordinates are successfully established, the guarding party will become the victor of the World Struggle War.]

[Current Holder of World Core: Apocalypse Paradise.]

[The War Task has changed; the Hunter must capture the World Core before the ’World Coordinates’ formation.]

...

”Discovered by the Apocalypse people.”

Su Xiao murmured, and beside him, Bubu Wang raised his head, implying: ”Master, don’t worry, last time it was the Apocalypse Paradise people who found the World Core first. I’ll go steal the thing; I’m quite skilled at this task.”

Su Xiao stood up, considering whether he should head to the center of the world: Extreme North·Jungle of Hot Rainforest, or straight to the West Sisbane area, as the World Core is something that must be seized.
