Chapter 1342: Chapter 1341: Do You Even Know the Law?

At this moment, a fierce battle is unfolding inside the Gold Mountain Monastery.

”Bald donkey, release my husband immediately!”

Little Qing shouted angrily, thrusting her Longsword fiercely toward Fahai. Fahai, however, easily blocked Little Qing’s attack with his Zen Staff.

”Evil creature, how dare you cause trouble in my Gold Mountain Monastery. Today, you’ll leave without returning!”

”We’ll see if you have that ability!”

The two sides engaged in a bitter struggle, but facing Fahai’s attacks, Little Qing was nearly retreating at every turn, with no chance to counterattack. Meanwhile, Bai Suzhen’s situation wasn’t any better.

”Yokai, embrace your demise!”

Dugu Sword Saint shouted angrily, extending his hand forward, and the Flying Sword shot out, targeting Bai Suzhen. Bai Suzhen’s complexion changed drastically, as she hurriedly brandished her Longsword to barely deflect Dugu Sword Saint’s strike.

”Daoist, I merely came here to find my husband, with no intent to harm...”

”Demon monsters and spirits, inherently harmful, dare they come to the mortal world to confuse people? Today I must capture you and return you to the Demon Lock Tower, forever eliminating future troubles!”

At this point, Dugu Sword Saint suddenly stretched out his hand, and a giant appeared behind him.

”Ten Thousand Sword Technique!”

With Dugu Sword Saint’s roar, countless Flying Swords appeared out of thin air, whistling as they pierced toward Bai Suzhen. Seeing the multitude of Flying Swords, Bai Suzhen’s complexion changed drastically, and she exerted all her strength, desperately trying to fend off the attack. However, she managed to hold on for only a moment before letting out a scream, being directly struck away.

”Sister!”

Seeing this, Little Qing hurriedly turned around, attempting to leave the battlefield. However, this was also the moment Fahai seized to attack Little Qing.

”Halt!”

With Fahai’s shout, his Zen Staff was suddenly thrown and hit Little Qing’s waist heavily, making her cry out in pain as she was thrown backward, landing not far in front of Bai Suzhen.

”Little Qing, are you alright!!”

”I...I’m fine, sister.”

Little Qing wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth and glared fiercely at Fahai and Dugu Sword Saint before her.

”Sister, we have no other choice, I have to use it now!”

”But...”

”No buts. Didn’t that Celestial Immortal say, as soon as you see that old bald Fahai, call him over? Besides, how much worse can it get now!”

At this moment, Little Qing was resolute, and Dugu Sword Saint gazed down at them coldly.

”Prepare to meet your end!”

As he spoke, Dugu Sword Saint raised both hands high.

”Sword God!!”

With Dugu Sword Saint’s shout, soon, a tall figure with white hair and beard, clad in white robes, appeared abruptly behind him, raising his hands high as countless Flying Swords formed in front of him, aimed at Bai Suzhen and Little Qing. Seeing this, Little Qing gritted her teeth, then reached into her bosom and pulled out the gemstone, crushing it with force!

”Boom!!!”

Just as the Sword God was poised to strike, a sudden blaze descended from the sky like a meteor, splitting the Sword God summoned by Dugu Sword Saint in two, completely cleaving it. The Sword God instantly turned into a shadow and quietly vanished. At the same time, Dugu Sword Saint’s body shook violently, blood pouring from his mouth as he retreated in panic.

”Benefactor Dugu!?”

Seeing this, Fahai was shocked. He never expected the Sect Leader of Shushan Immortal Sword Sect, Dugu Sword Saint, to be defeated in one move by them?!

Who on earth is this newcomer?!

Thinking of this, Fahai hastily looked forward, and he saw a young man with odd black attire, black hair, and black eyes, striding out from the flames, holding a peculiar Greatsword also burning with fierce flames.

”Zen Master, be cautious!”

Seeing this young man, Dugu Sword Saint’s face turned pale.

”He is the Great Demon I mentioned to you!”

”What?”

Hearing Dugu Sword Saint’s words, Fahai was shocked. He focused again on the young man before him, and his face immediately changed drastically.

”Such resentment... how many innocent lives has this monster ended?!”

”I knew you’d call me.”

Emerging from the flames, Fang Zheng completely ignored the on-edge Fahai and Dugu Sword Saint in the distance, instead looking towards Bai Suzhen and Little Qing.

”You two look terrible.”

”Celestial Immortal, please help us!!”

At this moment, Bai Suzhen hurriedly fell before Fang Zheng, softly pleading.

”My husband is trapped within the Gold Mountain Monastery, I...”

”I know, Leifeng Pagoda.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng extended his hand and snapped his fingers. In the next moment, a young man dressed in plain clothes suddenly appeared before them. The young man was clearly a bit stunned to find himself here, but Bai Suzhen had already run over.

”Husband! Husband!”

”My wife!!”

Hearing Bai Suzhen’s cries, Xu Xian quickly snapped back to reality and embraced Bai Suzhen, and the two of them immediately hugged and cried out loud.

However.........

”Why does this look like a cross-dressing Zhao Min and Bai Suzhen having a tryst......”

Watching this scene, Fang Zheng shook his head and couldn’t help but mutter. Then he coughed. Hearing Fang Zheng’s cough, both Xu Xian and Bai Suzhen were startled and quickly separated. Then Bai Suzhen gave Fang Zheng a formal bow.

”Bai Suzhen thanks the Celestial Immortal......”

”Wait, I’m not done yet.”

However, before Bai Suzhen could finish her words, Fang Zheng waved his hand to interrupt her, then he looked at Xu Xian.

”So you’re Xu Xian?”

”Indeed, I am......”

Looking at Fang Zheng, Xu Xian quickly lowered his head. Although he didn’t know who Fang Zheng was, he obediently answered the question.

”Hmm, very good. I have a few questions I want to ask you.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng pointed at Bai Suzhen and Little Qing.

”Now that you know they are yokai, what are your thoughts?”

”Eh?!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s unexpected question, Bai Suzhen and Little Qing immediately tensed up, while Xu Xian was also stunned, not knowing what to say. Seeing this, Little Qing angrily grabbed Bai Suzhen.

”See, sister, this heartless man is just like this. As soon as he hears we’re yokai, he’s scared out of his wits!”

”No, no, it’s not like that, Sister Qing!”

Hearing this, Xu Xian was shocked and hurriedly waved his hand. After thinking for a moment, he then spoke in a low voice.

”Indeed, I was misled by Fahai’s slander, but now I understand... the one who loves me the deepest is my wife. Even if she truly is a yokai, I still want to... want to stay by her side. From today onwards, I will no longer heed anyone’s idle talk. I will wholeheartedly be with my wife until old age... ”

”Husband...”

Hearing Xu Xian’s answer, Bai Suzhen was deeply moved, her eyes brimming with tears as she looked at him eagerly... Seeing this, Fang Zheng helplessly rolled his eyes.

You two lovebirds, keep your public displays of affection in check!

”Wretched creatures! Wretched creatures!!”

Just then, Fahai’s voice finally rang out. Turning his head, they saw Fahai standing not far off, looking at Xu Xian with a regretful gaze.

”Benefactor Xu, you are bewitched by demon monsters. Continuing like this, you are sure to meet with disaster...”

”Old bald donkey, what nonsense are you spouting...”

Upon hearing this, Little Qing immediately sprang up, wanting to rush over to argue. But Fang Zheng extended his hand and stopped her. Then Fang Zheng turned his head, looking at Fahai with great interest.

Thinking you can’t win with force, so now you want to argue? Interesting, but this is indeed a skill these bald monks have mastered.

”Old bald donkey, I don’t believe your nonsense. If you really want to talk about it, how good are your actions? Locking someone in a monastery, robbing them of their freedom... are you the government or the yamen? I didn’t know monasteries had started doubling as government offices?”

”Amitabha.”

Hearing Fang Zheng’s response, Fahai pressed his hands together.

”The sea of bitterness is boundless, and turning back is the shore. This humble monk cannot bear to see Benefactor Xu bewitched by yokai and wasting his life. Benefactor Xu has a connection with our Buddha...”

”So you want to force Xu Xian to become a monk?”

Fang Zheng snorted.

”What kind of reasoning is that? Turns out Tathagata Buddha is just a bandit rogue? Is the lot of you Tathagata’s subordinates nothing more than bandit chiefs going around kidnapping common folk every day?”

”Pfft.”

Upon hearing this, Little Qing burst out laughing, while Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian had mixed expressions of laughter and tears, while Fahai’s face turned as black as coal.

”Benefactor’s words are incorrect. This humble monk may be hasty, but...”

”No buts.”

Fang Zheng suddenly waved his hand, cutting off Fahai’s words.

”The law states: No state agency, social organization, or individual shall compel citizens to believe in or not believe in religion, nor discriminate against citizens who believe in religion or do not believe in religion. Citizens have the freedom to believe in religion, and also the freedom to not believe in religion; the freedom to believe in this religion, and also the freedom to believe in that religion; within the same religion, they have the freedom to believe in this sect, and also in that sect; they have the freedom to not believe in religion in the past and believe now, and also the freedom to have believed in the past and not believe now... I tell you, this coercion of others into religious belief is illegal, you know that?”

”............???”

Hearing this, Fahai was dumbfounded. He completely didn’t understand what Fang Zheng was saying. How could the world have such a principle? However, Fahai’s heavenly eye could tell him that this young man before him was not speaking nonsense at all! On the contrary, he could vaguely sense that the words just spoken by this young man were indeed existent!

How can I refute this!
