Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1250: Chapter 1250: Trevor’s Doubts

In the next room.

Trevor took a shower and changed into a perfectly detailed white suit, from shirt to vest, all fitting perfectly, naturally, and elegantly without looking bulky.

Indeed, this was tailor-made for him by Mr. William.

Standing in front of the mirror, he was a walking model, looking handsome in whatever he wore.

Trevor has always been puzzled as to why Mr. William lied to his father. His leg is clearly not a problem.

Why bring him here, what is the real purpose?

It’s probably not just about signing a contract.

Is it really just attending a birthday party?

If it’s for a birthday party, they could issue an invitation openly, and no one would refuse.

So, Trevor had a slight bad feeling, sensing that there was a big secret hidden in this mansion.

But what is the secret?

Perhaps it will be revealed with time.

”Good day, Mr. Trevor.”

When he opened the door, the personal maid Lucy greeted him respectfully, ”These are fresh foods, would you like to have some first?”

He put his hands in his pockets, looked at the exquisite cart in front of him, ”Okay.” Then he turned back into the room.

Lucy pushed the cart in, with over a dozen kinds of food, all in small portions and very exquisite.

Trevor sat on the sofa, ”Lucy, is this just an ordinary banquet?”

”Miss Demi’s coming-of-age ceremony, her eighteenth birthday party, so it’s a bit grander,” Lucy replied.

Trevor looked at her and then picked up his spoon...

In the next room.

The two girls had dressed up beautifully in dresses, with exquisite makeup, each showcasing their own beauty.

”Demi, do you know where Trevor lives?” Janelle suddenly asked.

”It’s next door.” The girl pointed to the right, ”What’s up?”

”We shared a ride here, so I’m going to transfer the ride fee to him.”

”Why don’t we go together?”

”Okay.”

With an hour left until the ball started, dozens of luxury cars were already parked in the courtyard’s parking lot, and elegantly dressed guests were strolling around the garden, drinking red wine, and chatting.

The twilight before nightfall was breathtakingly beautiful.

Demi took Janelle to Trevor’s room, the door was open, and Lucy was inside too.

She politely knocked on the door.

Trevor turned his gaze at the sound, his eyes landing on Janelle Mills dressed in her gown, with her jet-black hair loosely draped over her left shoulder, looking very classy.

”Miss.” Lucy greeted respectfully.

Before Trevor could speak, Demi pulled Janelle by the hand and led her inside.

Janelle felt a bit inexplicably nervous, meeting Trevor’s gaze, she pressed her fine pink lips, her skin as smooth as cream.

As the two girls approached, Trevor looked away and continued to savor the pastries on his plate.

”Mr. Trevor, Janelle said she wants to give you the ride fee, so how much should she give you?” Demi straightforwardly asked with a smile.

Trevor was slightly taken aback, raising his eyes again, his deep and calm gaze falling on Janelle Mills’s face.

Her eyes were so strikingly beautiful for a moment.

”Um...” Janelle felt a bit dazed, reacting half a beat slower, ”Why don’t we add each other on WeChat first?”

”That’s quite a good excuse to add WeChat.” Trevor’s voice was cold, his gaze withdrew, ”Forget the ride fee, I don’t usually add people on WeChat.”

So cold? Demi’s chest tightened, she looked at him instinctively.

Janelle glanced at him, then at the last piece of osmanthus cake on his plate, and before he picked up the silver fork, she reached over, grabbed it, and popped it into her mouth.

Trevor was slightly stunned, raising his eyes to look at her.

The girl chewed, swallowed, then looked at him displeased, ”You’re quite self-satisfied, do you think I really want to add you on WeChat?”

After speaking, she turned and left!

Demi glanced at Trevor, then at Lucy, hastily turned, and chased after her!
