Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1224: Chapter 1224: You Liked Me All Along?

Trevor looked at his watch, ”I need another half an hour, can you wait? There’s a small meeting I need to attend.”

”Of course, I don’t really have anything to do, I’ll just wait here for you?” She held a teacup in one hand and leisurely crossed her arms over her chest with the other elbow propped up, ”Is that okay?”

Trevor nodded, ”Then just make yourself comfortable.”

”Alright, don’t worry about me.” Mia Lane was poised, still exuding the aura of a female CEO.

In front of Justin Kingston, she was a bit more like a little woman, showing her softer side.

She was kind, a woman who shone brightly.

Trevor had been very sensible since he was young, accustomed to swallowing all his emotions no matter what happened, even if the sky were falling, he wouldn’t let those around him worry.

So he was very strong under pressure in study and work.

But love is different, why else would it be called uncontrollable?

He quickly organized a few documents, took the laptop on the table, greeted his sister who was reading the newspaper on the sofa, and then walked out with large strides.

He had an air of nobility about him, becoming more and more charismatic as a man.

In the small conference room next door, the windows were bright and clean.

Several project leaders had arrived, along with two senior executives from the market research department.

”Hello, Mr. Trevino.” Seeing him come in, everyone stood up to greet him.

”Please sit, no need to be formal.” Trevor sat down in the leading position, ”It’s almost time to get off work, let’s keep it short.”

Everyone placed their hands on the keyboard in front of them, looking towards Trevor, ready to take notes.

”Although our company’s current situation is good, we still need to consider time costs carefully. We can brainstorm to find faster and most effective methods, this project can also take the conventional route, as long as it’s well executed, everything will be fine.”

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Trevor said, ”I have a friend from Aeridia, they started dealing with new materials three years ago, if we can reach an agreement, we might consider partnering with them.”

Everyone made notes, nodding thoughtfully.

Then, when discussing the specific implementation plan, some also offered their own suggestions.

Trevor listened intently.

Everyone was brainstorming and discussing together.

It was evident that this was an exceptionally excellent team, everyone was working towards the same goal and highly recognized Trevor, the new CEO.

Time passed minute by minute, and the meeting quickly concluded.

In Riventhal’s increasingly reputable Providence Hospital.

In the doctor’s office.

Ian Shelby had just finished a meeting and came in carrying a cute little cake.

Jocelyn Morgan looked surprised, ”You bought a cake?”

”Familiar?” he asked, placing the cake gently on the table.

Seeing the cake, Jocelyn’s smile froze slightly, gazing at him, ”What do you mean?”

Last time Trevor also brought this kind of cake to the hospital!

”I wanted to buy it for you.” Ian untied the pink ribbon, ”I just wanted to eat it with you, it’s that simple, nothing else.”

Of course, he didn’t mention Trevor, and Jocelyn naturally didn’t either.

But, it was really awkward! And very childish!

They sat down.

She watched as Ian cut the cake into two pieces, ”How about I take you to see the music fountain afterwards? Feel the artistic vibe.”

”Sure.” As long as she was with him, Jocelyn felt the air was sweet.

They ate cake in the office and started chatting.

”When did you start liking me?” Ian asked curiously, ”I want to see who liked who first.”

”You’ve liked me for a long time?” Jocelyn was stunned.

Ian ate the cake and casually asked, ”If I didn’t like you, why would I accept it?”

”...” She was taken aback, ”So, so you... why didn’t you confess? Why should it be me, a girl, to say it?”

”I believe in fate, even if no one speaks up, it’s only natural for us to be together.” Ian looked at her, ”Alright, you can answer my earlier question now.”
