Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1217: Chapter 1217: I’m in a Relationship!

Jocelyn Morgan chuckled and walked into the living room, her eyes brimming with joy as she looked over everyone, making an exaggerated gesture, ”Everyone, I have some great news to announce!”

Finn Morgan, Hailey Hale, Everett Morgan, Jasmine, and the two servants all turned their eyes on her.

She said——

”I! Am! With! Dr.! Shelby! Now!”

Jasmine and Everett Morgan exchanged a glance, both of their hearts sank. Were they a step too late? Neither seemed too happy.

Hailey was very surprised! Her face was full of shock, how did this progress so quickly?

Finn pondered, resting his chin on his hand, looking thoughtful.

”Hey? What’s going on with you all?” Jocelyn was stunned, feeling that their reaction was unexpected.

Everyone in the living room looked at one another, a brief silence took over.

”What’s the matter? Aren’t you all happy for me? I’m finally not single anymore!” Jocelyn was very confused, she looped her arm through Jasmine’s, ”Auntie, weren’t you going to help me chase Dr. Shelby? Now there’s no need to chase! I handled it myself! Why aren’t you happy?”

”Jocelyn...”

”Right, sister-in-law!” Jocelyn didn’t give Jasmine a chance to speak, releasing her and immediately coming in front of Hailey, smiling as she took her hand, ”Thank you for your advice! It worked brilliantly.”

Being able to help her, Hailey was quite happy too, ”So, did you instantly realize your own feelings?”

”The sunset was especially beautiful, I was sitting on the mountaintop, and he was the first person I thought of.”

Jocelyn wasn’t shy at all, she enjoyed sharing her thoughts, ”I was thinking at the time, how great it would be if he could be there with me!”

It wasn’t hard to see from her demeanor, like a girl in love, she truly liked Dr. Shelby.

”Jocelyn.” Hailey gently hugged her, being the first to offer congratulations, ”You must be happy!”

”Mm-hmm! Thank you, sister-in-law!”

Hailey asked her, ”Have you guys officially confirmed your relationship?”

”...” Jocelyn was momentarily startled, recalling that kiss, ”Well, pretty much?”

”What do you mean by pretty much?” Hailey was confused, ”Haven’t you confirmed it yet?”

Jocelyn thought about it and candidly said, ”He kissed me today; we had a meal together, he kept serving me food, then we took a walk afterwards, he held my hand and draped his coat over my shoulders.”

”Wow! So that means it’s confirmed?”

”But it hasn’t been explicitly stated!” Jocelyn preferred everything to be clarified, to love, or not to love.

Once it’s clear, her mind would be at ease.

Hailey teased her, ”Actions speak louder than words; does saying it or not make a difference? He likes you, that’s what matters!”

Jocelyn was delighted, she flitted over to Jasmine like a lark, ”Auntie, you called me twice, what exactly did you want?”

”Nothing now.” Everett Morgan told her.

The girl turned her eyes in confusion towards her uncle, ”...” then looked at her aunt.

”Why don’t you go upstairs and rest?” Jasmine had accepted the situation, kindly patting her head, ”Go take a shower, write some updates, don’t go without drafts every day.”

”Got it!” Jocelyn was in great spirits, humming a song as she skipped upstairs.

Everett Morgan slightly furrowed his brows, his expression serious, as his heart chilled a little.

Downstairs.

Finn sat down in the sofa, picked up the teapot and poured a few cups of tea, knowing well enough what his parents intended to say to Jocelyn.

”In matters of love, mutual affection is what counts.” Finn looked up, ”I think your worries are unnecessary.”

”Being with Trevor is stable, following Ian feels a bit like a bumpy ride; not to mention, doctor-patient disputes can be quite difficult to manage, being a doctor is a high-risk profession.”
