Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1248: Chapter 1248: Neighbors Next Door

”Call me Demi!” The girl’s voice was sweet, with bright eyes and a dazzling smile, ”You can just call me by name!”

Trevor’s gaze landed on her face, his expression gentle.

Then Demi joyfully grabbed Janelle’s hand, ”I’ll take my friend upstairs to change into formal wear!”

”Okay.” The parents agreed.

Just like that, with a servant helping carry the luggage, the two girls walked upstairs hand in hand, and Janelle didn’t forget to glance back downstairs as they passed the stairway corner.

Her gaze fell on Trevor.

William watched his daughter go upstairs, his eyes full of a kindly smile, truly living up to the saying — joy in events brings a cheerful spirit.

”Come, take Mr. Trevor to his room for a rest.” William said to the servant, ”Bring food to his room so he can rest well first.”

Then William looked at Trevor, ”The dinner party starts at seven.”

”Alright.”

”Mr. Trevor, this way please.” The maid said respectfully in English.

Trevor bid farewell to William and his wife and followed the maid upstairs.

Until his tall figure disappeared around the stairway corner.

The lady held onto William’s arm and said with a smile, ”Trevor is truly handsome, but...he must be quite mature, right? He seems pretty steady.”

”Even though he’s older than Demi, isn’t that quite normal in today’s society?”

William was quite expectant, ”Once the coming-of-age ceremony is over, let’s go straight to the wedding. I can’t believe that with my friendship with David Dalton, he wouldn’t agree to let me have his son? Besides, our daughter is not lacking.”

The lady felt warm in her heart, ”I saw the shy look in Demi’s eyes, she probably likes Trevor too.”

”Haven’t we already seen the photos? His resume is well understood; goodwill has already accumulated, and before this meeting, the impression was already formed. Besides, Trevor gives especially good vibes, there’s no reason for Demi not to like him.”

”Mm-hmm.” The lady nodded.

William asked again, ”So? What’s your impression of him?”

”He’s even more handsome in person than in the photos, made a very good impression.” Very gentlemanly, and elegant too.

This was an extremely high evaluation.

Trevor followed the Filipino maid upstairs and was arranged in a room with excellent lighting and complete facilities, making life particularly convenient.

The long clothing rack by the window was full of men’s formal wear.

”Mr. Trevor, I’ll be at your service during this time, my name is Lucy.” The Filipino maid said to him in Chinese, ”I’ll be waiting outside the door, feel free to call me if you need anything.”

”OK.”

”There’s a ball tonight, these were all tailored to your size, you can pick the one you like most to change into, Miss Demi will invite you for a dance.”

Out of courtesy, Trevor nodded warmly, ”Alright.”

Then the maid curtsied and turned away.

In the room next door.

”Janelle, you’ll be staying here tonight, how is it? Are you satisfied with this room?” Demi twirled around the room, ”If you’re not comfortable, I can sleep with you!”

”Alright!” Janelle walked to the window, where a long row of formal gowns came into view, ”So beautiful! The last time I wore a formal dress was last year.”

”Pick any one you like! I’ll help you braid your hair later!” Demi liked her very much, ”I can also help with makeup, I’ve been self-learning recently and have gotten pretty good.”

”Don’t you have school?” Janelle asked as she selected a dress, ”You seem so free every day, your social media is full of a leisurely life.”

”Social media only shows the side we want to show; I’m actually not that free. I have classes every day and recently started learning four languages, it’s exhausting every day.”

”Talented people are always like that, being tired is just part of it.” She picked one, ”What do you think of this one?”

”Try it on!” Demi said, ”You won’t know until you wear it!”

”Alright!”

She drew the curtains and changed into the formal dress right there in the room.

You can just imagine how good their relationship is!
