Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1238: Chapter 1238: Trevor Takes Her Home

Has his aversion to her reached a point where he lacks even basic compassion?

Vera Ford’s heart sank heavily!

She knew that Ian Shelby was the kind of person who would feel sad for half a day just seeing a cat shed hair...

He is so compassionate, which is why he became a doctor.

”Dr. Ford.” Not far away, a male doctor quickly approached, ”What happened to your foot?” His face was full of surprise and concern.

”I accidentally twisted it downstairs.” Vera was so aggrieved that she wanted to cry, her vision blurred.

”Come, come, let me take a look!” The male doctor hurried over to support her, ”Be careful!” Heading to the office, ”It looks like a serious injury?”

Vera gritted her teeth, leaning most of her body on his shoulder, enduring intense pain with every step, tears falling one after another!

Jocelyn Morgan came with Ian Shelby in the morning, so she didn’t drive.

Just as she left the hospital, intending to hail a cab by the roadside,

she unexpectedly ran into Trevor, who was in a hurry, planning to go home, and suddenly stopped in her tracks.

In the cool breeze, their eyes met.

Jocelyn clearly noticed the marks on Trevor’s face, he stood up for her...

Immediately Jocelyn felt very apologetic, her throat choked up, she stood there dazed, not knowing how to begin speaking.

Trevor also looked at her, his deep eyes stirred with a slight ripple of complexity.

He didn’t expect to meet her so soon.

Seeing her brought a bit of joy mixed with increasing sadness, he walked towards her.

Witnessing his gaze and watching him walk step by step towards her, Jocelyn felt her thoughts slow down.

Until Trevor stopped in front of her.

Jocelyn saw a trace of sadness in his eyes, ”Tre...”

Just as she was about to apologize again, the tall Trevor embraced her small frame into his arms.

Jocelyn’s breath hitched, her body stiffened!

”Jocelyn, you must be happy.” Tears welled up in Trevor’s eyes, yet his smile was the most sincere, ”If you ever feel unhappy, come find me.”

His last two sentences pierced the girl’s heart.

His love was so heavy...!

”Trevor...” Her body was stiff, immobile in his embrace, ”I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it.” She suddenly felt like crying too.

”Don’t apologize, you did nothing wrong, you’re just too true, which is what I like about you.” Trevor was also level-headed, he said with a smile, ”You just followed your heart’s choice, and are with someone you like.”

Jocelyn didn’t know what to say, she gently pushed him, ”Trevor...” to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

After a moment, Trevor released her willingly, ”Jocelyn, I hope we can still be friends in the future!”

”Yeah, yeah.” She nodded vigorously.

”Where are you going?” Trevor hid his disappointment and spoke lightly, ”Shall I give you a ride?”

”I...”

”Don’t reject me! We are friends!”

Jocelyn pressed her lips, ”I’m going home.”

”Then wait here, I’ll get the car!” Saying this, Trevor turned and left.

Jocelyn didn’t know how she felt, her mind was in chaos.

He quickly drove the car over, and Jocelyn got in.

Some things brewed earlier she wanted to tell him, once the car started, she turned to look at him, ”Trevor, in this world, there’s no need to rush, someone will be waiting for you around the corner.”

”Really?” Trevor smiled and glanced at her, ”I must believe it, right?”

”And she’ll definitely be perfect for you, so in the meantime, don’t persist over me.”

She said, ”As long as you step out and truly let go, at the corner, you’ll meet the love meant for you, you can hold her hand, she’s waiting there for you!”

Listening to her voice, he felt at ease.

”Thanks for your kind words.” Trevor drove, and his mood brightened, ”It’s just that I really like you.”
