Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 1000: Chapter 615: Humanoid Evil Dragon_2

After all, it’s not afraid of direct combat, only of various bizarre Transformation Techniques!

Transformation Techniques are one of the effective ways to defeat the strong with the weak!

”Taunt.”

Sure enough, the Trainer also issued a command.

Aggron unhesitatingly launched a move at Sableye, its surface turning a bizarre blood-red, and let out a thunderous low growl.

The commentator was particularly shocked and shouted, ”Contestant Baimu is on the offensive! From the start of the match till now, he’s finally given a command before his opponent!”

This sounded a bit amusing, but it was indeed the reality happening in Arena C.

”Oh oh oh...”

The audience became excited.

Does Sableye actually warrant such importance from Baimu and Aggron? Doesn’t that mean they are about to witness a thrilling back-and-forth match?

However, unlike the impassioned audience, Yamei was extremely panicked and shouted, ”Sableye, don’t listen to its roar! Counter with Flatter directly!”

”Yami!”

Sableye chuckled eerily, rubbing its sharp claws together as red waves of light formed between its hands.

But just before the light waves could be emitted, the continuously echoing roar inexplicably triggered a flash of anger across its face, shrouding its body with blood-red light.

Snap!

The red light waves suddenly dissipated!

Sableye was stunned, ”Yami?”

The commentator hurriedly relayed what happened on the field, ”Aggron’s Taunt was successfully executed! Sableye’s Flatter was interrupted! For the next period, it won’t be able to use Transformation Techniques!”

Yamei’s heart sank into the depths with the commentator’s voice echoing throughout the venue.

If Sableye had the Mischievous Heart trait, it might not have been slower in releasing Flatter even if it appeared later.

Unfortunately, it didn’t.

Without Transformation Techniques, Sableye no longer had the qualification to face off against Aggron and officially entered a ”death” countdown!

”Sableye, use Shadow Strike!”

Yamei had not given up yet.

However, Aggron, having already taken action, gave her no opportunity, completely ignoring the giant shadow extending from beneath Sableye as it raised its claws and hammered the ground heavily!

”Sharp Stone Attack.”

Boom!

The ground trembled as glowing giant stone pillars burst from the earth!

Boom boom boom boom boom——

The already sparing grass was completely destroyed, leaving a scene of utter devastation.

At the same moment.

The giant shadow rose behind Aggron, transforming into a bizarre ghostly figure pouncing at it, but no matter how the ghostly figure bit, it couldn’t budge it an inch.

The Shadow Strike even backfired, causing Sableye to be unable to avoid the quickly approaching giant stone pillars.

Sableye: ”Yaa——”

Bang!

The hoarse cry was drowned out by the explosive sound of the stone pillars shattering.

Dust billowed!

”Sableye!” Yamei screamed.

But there was nothing she could do, only watching helplessly as the dust dispersed, revealing a collapsed Sableye, its once vibrant gem-like eyes now dull.

”Roar~”

The ever-quiet Aggron raised its head and let out a mighty roar.

Declaring victory!

Beep!!

The referee’s whistle echoed throughout the arena, and he loudly declared, ”Sableye has lost its combat ability! The match is over! The one advancing is Contestant Baimu!”

”It’s settled! A single strike determines the outcome! Aggron showcased its excellent defense and offense to perfection! Such a powerful Pokémon!”

The commentator’s voice drew cheers from the thousands of spectators.

Although Aggron stood and took hits throughout, since opponents often fell with just one or two hits, the match didn’t last too long.

The clean and decisive attack style made many who didn’t understand why Baimu adopted this tactic suddenly see the light.

Not getting hit?

The match would probably end in two or three minutes!

And similar tactics are actually common all over the world—

Champion exhibition matches.

Videos sporadically circulate online of a Regional Champion accepting a challenge from an unknown Trainer on the roadside, conspicuously mirroring this match!

Taking damage to demonstrate Defense Power, then following with attacks to exhibit ATK!

The various media looked sympathetically at Yamei, seeing her dazedly kneel on the ground, they couldn’t help but sigh, encountering a strong opponent like Baimu is indeed something beyond control.

The cruelty of battles and competitions is epitomized here.

Hope this match doesn’t leave her with psychological scars.

Inside the arena.

Baimu welcomed Aggron back, ”Good job, well done!”

Honestly, if Yamei hadn’t been so arrogant, he wouldn’t have planned to use this strategy. After all, it’s a bit too bullying.

Unlike the decisive three-hit instant kill strategy, the key to this strategy is to give the opponent the illusion of ”I might win.”

But when the opponent truly realizes there’s no chance of winning, the situation is already out of her control.

She can only clench her teeth and swallow her pride, pressing on despite the odds.

In usual champion roadside battles, the champion as the host can call a halt to take care of the challenger’s emotions, so as not to make the defeat too humiliating.

Not in a competition.

In a competition, even if you meet a disgusting contestant, you still have to grit your teeth and fight through it.

Just like Xiaoyao’s fierce rival Harry in the Gorgeous Competition, the level of disgust he provokes makes people want to jump through the TV to beat him up,

but during the competition, that’s not really possible, you can only fight to the end.

”...”

He glanced at Yamei across from him, somewhat surprised that the guy could still stand up, her ability to withstand pressure was really impressive.

Or perhaps he hadn’t fought hard enough?

As Baimu was pondering, the opponent approached.

”I- I will never agree with you!”

Yamei’s face was pale like she had lost blood, but her tone remained as firm as ever.

What a big face, huh?

Need your approval?

He was truly too lazy to respond, turning around with Aggron to leave the arena.

Just then, behind him came Yamei’s shout again.

”Someone like you, a Coordinator Trainer, will never understand what a real man is, what a true battle is! Battles aren’t playing house with dolls! Even the strongest among you, Mikoli, has long lost the Champion throne, and is not even one of the Four Heavenly Kings now!”

Baimu paused.

He turned slightly, frowning.

Yamei seized the moment, ”What? Did I say something wrong——”

Wham!

The wind whistled!

Her vision blurred, and a tall figure suddenly appeared before her.

Yamei’s words abruptly stopped, an indescribable oppressive feeling akin to a mountain weighed down on her, causing her face to stiffen and breathing to become difficult.

Previously, Baimu had always maintained a four or five-meter distance from her, making it impossible for her to gauge his height directly.

For the first time.

In a situation where the distance between them was less than half a meter, Yamei finally realized Baimu was so tall that she could barely reach his chest!

But the key wasn’t the height.

The key was that extremely penetrating gaze, she could feel her vital weak points being tightly locked by his sight, resulting in her being unable to speak, her heart racing!

As if her body instinctively warned her brain that to continue speaking would lead to a dead end!

Yamei didn’t dare to lift her head, nor did she dare to meet those eyes that made sweat drench her back.

Until——

”Heh, do you deserve to talk about Mikoli?”

The disdainful words rang like thunder in her ears, heavily hammering her heart, causing her to involuntarily step back and fall to the ground, her face paler than a corpse.

She instinctively raised her head and saw a pair of cold, fierce eyes.

Yamei froze.

Fortunately, the other party did nothing further, turning and leaving with Aggron, but she felt a sense of having narrowly escaped death.

”Ha... ha...”

The terrifying oppression vanished completely, she suddenly realized she was so scared she forgot to breathe!

Baimu, Baimu!

This guy has definitely killed people! Not just one!

Yamei was absolutely certain, or else there was no way to explain why she, who feared nothing, was so terrified!

Having realized this, she ignored the staff’s concern and left in a daze.

On the other side.

Aggron frequently looked at its trainer.

”What’s up?”

Baimu hesitated for a moment, then said: ”Alright, I know I shouldn’t have done that in public, but hearing her talk about Mikoli, I really couldn’t help it.”

”Guh-roar~”

Aggron shook its head.

That’s not what’s bothering it.

It just understood the true reason why Hydreigon was known by the Pokémon in Dragon Nest as fierce—

It’s because of you!

Baimu!
