Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 959: Chapter 595: Mage Apprehended (?)_2

This decision was met with the response of the other three Pokémon.

[You have initiated a challenge against the Azure Gym]

At this moment, the Gym Leader was a white-haired old man who, like Asi later on, used Fighting Attribute Pokémon.

Their strength was formidable.

This could be observed from the simulation where there wasn’t much acceleration.

In the battle, while Murkrow and Noctowl certainly had the advantage of Flying Attributes, the Azure Hall Master was an experienced trainer, and Hitmontop was spinning everywhere in the simulation like a flying top.

It actually kicked Noctowl down from the sky.

Baimu somewhat thought Hitmontop’s ability to stay airborne was absurd; perhaps if the spinning speed was fast enough, it could become a bamboo dragonfly? Mawile spins so fast, it should also fall.

Not only does it not fall, but it manages to ascend after staying airborne for a while?

It can only be said that there is really a significant difference between Pokémon and Pokémon.

Of course.

This Hitmontop ultimately couldn’t take down the Potion Master’s trump card—Misdreavus. Compared to it, Murkrow and Noctowl were just small fry.

[You defeated the Azure Hall Master and obtained the Azure Badge]

”Misdreavus is at a very high level.”

Baimu understood the strength of Misdreavus through this detailed comparison battle.

No wonder the first three Gyms were pushed over with accelerated simulation – not only was the potion instrumental, but Misdreavus’ own strength was also closely related.

Could this be considered as the Shili Slope Sword God?

Let’s see which stage the combination of potion usage and Misdreavus’ strength can reach.

So far, apart from the battle at the dock for potion selling, the Mage has not battled with other trainers, and the simulation hasn’t shown her Pokémon training scenes.

Could it be a tournament victory forged by potions?

But the Alliance tournaments decades ago... seems understandable.

The current Alliance tournaments have rules every mainstream region has gradually explored and established; in the Mage’s era, technology was not as advanced as it is now, and Pokémon research was not as detailed as today, anything could have happened.

Emerging from the Gym.

The refreshed Mage routinely set up a stall after placing the Badge.

Unexpectedly, she, who had always managed to quietly sit until dusk, was driven away by Miss Jun Sha for the first time.

[You asked Miss Jun Sha why you couldn’t set up a stall, and she asked if the items you were selling had gone through professional company component testing, you answered no]

Too honest!

Watching the Mage confess every truth under Miss Jun Sha’s questioning, Baimu felt Miss Jun Sha probably hadn’t seen such a naive ”scammer.”

[You were dissatisfied with Miss Jun Sha, stating that even though you didn’t have a business license, your magic potion was genuine, and you drank it for her to see]

[You were taken back to the police station by Miss Jun Sha for education]

[Your potions were confiscated]

The screen showed a blazing hot afternoon.

The Mage stood at the police station entrance with an empty small bag, a series of ellipses hung over her head, and Murkrow flew overhead as if mocking.

”Hahaha.”

Baimu laughed.

But he was also curious why the Azure City’s Miss Jun Sha was so serious, as other cities’ Miss Jun Sha didn’t care about stalls.

With the narration’s explanation, he understood the situation.

It turned out that Azure City has a historically long-standing traditional medicine store, nearly five hundred years old.

Due to its fame and the need to reserve the medicine, many outsiders came with its signboard to deceive.

The Mage was considered a scammer who used the signboard to commit fraud.

But after communication, Miss Jun Sha felt she was more like a lunatic than a scammer, so she only confiscated her suspicious magic potions and let her go.

[You contemplated whether to find a way to get back the potions from the police station but decided against it since the ingredients needed to make them were still with you]

Clearly, the Mage wasn’t arrogant enough to confront Miss Jun Sha, and left the heartbreaking city gloomily, going to the wild to collect materials.

”Luckily, aside from her labor costs, the potions’ cost was just glass bottles.”

Baimu felt if the loss was too severe, the Mage would certainly take the risk.

Route 47.

The steep terrain couldn’t impede the Mage’s steps to recoup losses, and adhering to the principle of higher risk yielding higher returns, she indeed found many materials that were difficult to acquire previously.

She even captured a new Pokémon.

[You captured Ditto, the universal neutralizer increased]

Why is Ditto called the universal neutralizer?

Because in Pokémon Monster Magic, although the materials from Ditto’s transformation into designated Pokémon are ineffective, their slime is a top-tier material that can enhance the stability of magic potions.

The narration stated many Mages’ apprentices hoped to own a Ditto; alas, this Pokémon is precious, making it difficult for ordinary people to find.

Crucially, it helps in making the Nirvana Potion.

[You looked joyfully at Ditto, feeling that time had changed, and disregarded the confiscation of the potions entirely]

The Mage left the large island where Azure City is located with joy.

During the boat trip.

The now wise Mage gave up fishing, instead buying a large net to try netting fish.

But quickly discovered a fatal issue.

[You realized you couldn’t lift the heavy net from the sea, and upon asking the crew for help, they told you fishing was prohibited in this area]

The blue star severely reduced!

Twice trying to target the sea Pokémon had failed, tarnishing the hunter’s reputation significantly.

[You regrettably untangled the net, looking at the bustling city in the distance]

On the screen.

A slightly modern pixelated metropolitan city came into Baimu’s sight.

Did she directly arrive at Manjin City?

He was a bit surprised the Mage didn’t go to Natural Park for a raid again, it seemed Route 47 really overflowed her bag.

The ship docked.

[You arrived in Manjin City, the row upon row of skyscrapers dazzled you, and you never expected it to be so prosperous]

Manjin City is one of the leading cities in the Johto Region; the first magnetic levitation train trial was conducted here, and decades ago, Baimu wasn’t surprised at such prosperity.

The newcomer Mage eagerly started setting up a stall; this time she was smart, having Murkrow and Noctowl keep watch on the streets’ sides.

She herself was alert in all directions, prepared to flee if Miss Officer Jenny appeared.

This situation reminded Baimu of vendors fleeing from urban inspectors in his past life.

Surprisingly.

In other cities where the Mage repeatedly returned unsuccessful, in Manjin City, she sold quite a few potions.

[You enthusiastically promoted various potions to the people]

Do people in big cities have a higher acceptance rate?

Baimu could only think so, but if he didn’t know Pokémon Monster Magic existed, hearing someone sell it, he would probably scratch his head in doubt as well.

[You generously sold to ordinary people once, and the good mood prompted you to challenge the Gym]

Manjin Gym.

The Hall Master was a sturdy middle-aged woman, using General Attribute Pokémon similar to Xiaoqian, and her core Pokémon was the same Miltank.

The roll was quite fierce; Murkrow and Noctowl couldn’t defeat it.

Eventually, it was up to Misdreavus with the magic-enhanced potions, leveraging its high mobility with Ghost Attributes to claim victory.

[You defeated the Manjin Gym Leader and obtained the Manjin Badge]

The Mage successfully obtained the Fifth Badge.

If it were someone else, they’d probably take these five badges to act superior and increase personal visibility, but the Mage didn’t do so; she merely had affection for selling potions.

[You suddenly recalled your encounter in Asakusa City, deciding to sell potions to the Hall Master]

Great idea!

Baimu was very pleased that the Mage finally found the key; reputation needs wide dissemination among ordinary people or must rely on Gym Leaders with prestige for promotion.

The chef’s success stemmed from cooking a meal for Gym Leaders.

And unsurprisingly.

The Manjin Hall Master was very interested in potions sold by the Mage; she had a farm at home, and the Pokémon there had frequent illnesses requiring potions for treatment.

[You attempted to sell all the therapeutic potions to the Manjin Hall Master, but unfortunately, she seemed to have cash flow issues and couldn’t spare enough money, asking if you could wait or use other items to offset the payment]

The Mage first encountered such a situation, hesitated for a while, and agreed.

[You acquired a Pokémon Egg of Eevee and two Dark Stones from the Manjin Gym Leader]

”Wow, are the potions this valuable?”

Baimu was slightly surprised.

Evolution Stones decades ago weren’t priced like today.
