Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 960: Chapter 596: Wandering Witch

Two Dark Stones.

Just enough to satisfy the evolution needs of Misdreavus and Murkrow.

Baimu was surprised at how the mage priced the magic potions so high, and at the same time, he applauded Gym Leader Manjin for being so considerate.

Putting aside Giovanni, the undercover villain boss, the character of Gym Leaders in the animated world is commendable.

[You discover these two Dark Stones can let your Misdreavus and Murkrow evolve, so overjoyed, you immediately gifted two extra bottles of beauty potions to the other party]

In the age of mages, her Pokémon knowledge could be described as encyclopedic.

It’s hard to imagine such a talent is just a magic apprentice.

If it were some hot-blooded protagonist receiving a Dark Stone, they would probably use it on Misdreavus and Murkrow by accident later and only then discover it can help them evolve.

After leaving the Gym.

The mage couldn’t wait to use the Dark Stones on Misdreavus and Murkrow.

A brilliant light shone.

[Your Misdreavus has evolved into Mismagius]

[Your Murkrow has evolved into Honchkrow, new feather material added]

Huh?

Why do the two Pokémon have different treatments?

Baimu suddenly realized that Misdreavus was the mage’s true love; otherwise, other Pokémon had tags like ”tools” and ”raw materials,” so why didn’t it?

But to say there was favoritism... it didn’t seem like there was. In the simulated images, there was no scene of the mage mistreating other Pokémon, and often she moved together with all of them.

He involuntarily glanced at the altered-color Gengar, wondering if sometimes he also treated his Pokémon as tools, perhaps he should treat them a little better.

Um.

Why am I introspecting?

Baimu shook his head and continued to watch the simulation.

The evolved Mismagius, Honchkrow, and the mage were strikingly similar, especially the former, whose magic hat was almost identical, making one wonder if the source of Pokémon magic came from the Mismagius.

And just as he pondered when the Eevee egg in the mage’s arms would hatch.

Inside the light screen.

The Pokémon Egg suddenly emitted a dazzling light.

He: ”...So fast.”

Has it been a day since obtaining it? The previous blue talent simulation subjects weren’t this fast either.

The light gradually dimmed.

[Ee-vu-ee~]

A puppy-like Eevee replaced the Pokémon Egg, even in pixel form it was so cute it could make one’s heart melt, and the onomatopoeic word in the bubble above its head made it seem like Baimu could hear its cry next to his ear.

The mage was obviously unable to resist this cute little creature, her eyes gleaming as she looked at it.

[Your Elf Egg has hatched into an Eevee, fur-type raw materials increased]

...As expected.

Baimu regretted the thought that flashed through his mind earlier—”Actually, the mage is a little girl who likes cute Pokémon.”

He started to suspect that the mage was a descendant of the Shicui people.

It just so happens that Hisui, now Sinnoh, is located above Johto, so isn’t it normal for Unova people to migrate to Hisui, and Hisui people to migrate to Johto?

The more he thought about it, the more possible it seemed.

Shicui people throw Pokémon Balls and various sticky masses and berries, she throws potions.

Exactly the same!

Speaking of which, what would the mage evolve Eevee into? Espeon? Umbreon? Leafeon?

Baimu was a bit curious.

The scene shifted.

[You left this place that you were reluctant to part with]

The mage liked Manjin City very much, a place that was quite ”friendly” to foreigners, so when leaving, she could be described as looking back every few steps.

However, three badges were still missing, so she had to keep trying.

[You arrived at Route 34]

As soon as she reached the wild.

The mage started sweeping the wild Pokémon like a tiger entering the forest, plucking wool, pulling grass, and extracting body fluids in one go.

Under the ”aiding and abetting” of Pokémon like Mismagius and Honchkrow, the wild Pokémon were miserable.

Seeing those chased Pokémon, Baimu suddenly realized that although the mage rarely battled other trainers, nor specifically trained various abilities of her Pokémon.

She often had Mismagius and them fight wild Pokémon.

Perhaps her current team’s overall strength is based on this aspect.

After all, battling wild Pokémon is also actual combat, and as long as there’s actual combat, a Pokémon’s overall strength can be enhanced.

He found he was being too attached.

So the mage was actually a combat enthusiast!

Indeed.

She herself was not a proper trainer, in that era not knowing how to train Pokémon was normal, even participating in tournaments was just for Ho-oh Sacred Fire, she did not care about the performance.

”An unprofessional trainer obtained the honors that trainers crave.”

Baimu could only sigh at how deserving of the old times it was.

But soon the mage encountered some trouble.

Although the timeline was early, Route 34 had already established numerous breeding houses, forming a small village.

[You didn’t see the fence acting as a boundary line and ”repaired” the tail fur of a Growlithe; the owner of the breeding house rushed out hearing Growlithe’s barking]

In the image.

The mage frantically defended herself, but claiming to be a Pokémon Mage and taking out suspicious liquids, even though Growlithe was unharmed and seemed satisfied with the new tail fur, still made her be mistaken as a Pokémon thief.

Chased and beaten by nearby villagers and Pokémon.

Until she couldn’t hold back and resisted with hallucinogenic potions, causing the pursuing Pokémon to turn against those villagers, the ridiculous scene finally came to an end.

[You defeated the villagers and successfully resolved the misunderstanding with an opportunity to help them]

”This combat power is exceptional.”
