Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 986: Chapter 608: Saiyu? Suzuran! (Part 2)

The Glalie beside Abomasnow was particularly jovial under the hail weather, grinning from ear to ear.

[Frozen Body] Trait!

The last piece of information was finally fully filled!

Porygon II was somewhat excited.

Its collected data did not detail every opponent’s Pokémon, including the Pokémon’s traits and favored techniques, which often needed to be gradually completed as the tournament unfolded.

Glalie’s trait was indeed one of them.

At the same moment.

The referee waved down the two-colored flags.

”The match begins!”

Both sides eagerly issued commands.

Red was the first to raise her hand and shout: ”Abomasnow, use Wood Hammer! Glalie, use Ice Pillar Fall! Attack Steelix with everything!”

Baimu’s command came a beat slower: ”Sandstorm, Texture 2·Steel.”

The four Pokémon moved simultaneously upon receiving their commands, with Porygon II moving the quickest.

A shine flowed over its surface as a deep silver reminiscent of alloy steel replaced its original red and blue colors, exuding a sense of solidity.

Seeing this change, Red paused briefly, with the word ”Texture 2” popping into her mind.

After learning who her opponent was the day before, she specifically searched for information about Porygon II.

From numerous interviews with Dr. Akihabara, she learned of this miraculous technique that allows a Pokémon to change its own attributes based on the opponent’s techniques.

As expected, Baimu used it!

Luckily, she hadn’t ordered Abomasnow and Glalie to attack Porygon II!

Bang!

A pale blue mist of energy erupted from Glalie to the top of the Mega Steelix’s head, and Abomasnow howled before leaping up high, its right fist enveloped in an emerald green wooden stake.

Their fierce onslaught seemed intent on taking down Steelix, and even if they couldn’t, they aimed to render it incapable of fighting back.

However.

The Mega Steelix merely stared impassively at the aggressive duo charging towards it.

It took a deep breath.

”Roar!!”

With a roar of rage, the Mega Steelix rotated the three horizontal steel beams it had deliberately raised, leaving only a blur of afterimages in the blink of an eye.

Fierce yellow sand swirled around it, forming a terrifying sandstorm in an instant!

Rumble!

The sky changed color!

The falling Ice Cones were immediately shattered, and the approaching Abomasnow was repelled outside, while the tiny Porygon II was nowhere to be found, blown away.

Most importantly, the white fog of hail falling from above was also dispersed by the rampaging sandstorm!

”What a terrifying Sandstorm! Steelix unleashed a powerful technique that matches its size! Abomasnow and Glalie’s attacks had no effect!”

The commentator was ecstatic.

Sandstorm Weather replaced the Hail, yet Steelix kept the sandstorm spinning, becoming even more intense, blinding Abomasnow and Glalie with the omnipresent swirling sand.

It was difficult to see the surroundings clearly for a moment.

Red was the same, shielding her eyes as she was shocked by the ferocity of Steelix’s sandstorm, feeling a sense of urgency rising, and shouted, ”Glalie, use Defend to shield Abomasnow! Abomasnow, use Blizzard on the sky!”

The round and rolling Glalie floated ghost-like in front of Abomasnow, opening a sapphire blue spherical honeycomb shield ahead of it.

Meanwhile, Abomasnow behind it raised its head, ignoring the pervasive flying sand, opened its mouth wide, and accumulated a gleaming ice-blue orb of light.

Before it could unleash Blizzard, however, a net of electrical currents fell from the sky.

[Electric Grid]!

Zzz!

Glalie could block the front but not the overhead gap, and the web of lightning instantly wrapped Abomasnow like a zongzi, its strong electric current paralyzing it, causing the amassed light ball in its mouth to dissipate uncontrollably.

”Ugh!”

Abomasnow let out a pained moan.

Red forced her eyes open, vaguely spotting the ”culprit”—

Porygon II, blown into the sky by the sandstorm!

Texture 2 was just a thin metallic outer layer! This guy could fend off the sandstorm and still strike at Abomasnow!

But with such strong winds, how could it strike so precisely!?

Red didn’t know that under Baimu’s command, Porygon II had used [Lock-On] beforehand, and when the protection in front of Glalie vanished, a sinister feeling arose within her.

”Glalie, use Substitute! Abomasnow, break free from the Electric Grid! Use Avalanche to attack Steelix!”

At the same time.

The Mega Steelix, originally resembling a Tornado incarnate, stopped the rotation of its transverse steel bones, and slowly lowered its raised body.

The scale of the sandstorm gradually became smaller.

The Abomasnow and Glalie could finally open their eyes wide and confirm their opponent before launching an attack and defense.

But before they could make any move.

”Roar...”

The Mega Steelix let out a thunderous roar, its sturdy transverse steel bones started rotating again, without kicking up any sand and dust, just a series of silver white light wheels forming.

The venue emitted a terrifying high-energy hum continuously, which made Abomasnow and Glalie look pale with fear.

In the next instant.

”Heavyweight Charge.”

Boom——!!

A silver light burst forth, and the audience’s ears were deafened by the exploding roars!

They covered their ears, shocked as they watched in the blink of an eye the Mega Steelix rush from one side of the venue to the other, ramming Abomasnow and Glalie into the edge wall of the venue!

Just like Hoenn’s fastest bullet train reaching its maximum speed and rushing past in front, while crashing into a building!

The visual impact and terrifying wind pressure generated by the massive size and mass of the object made the majority of the audience in safe positions feel a pang of terror.

Even Red in the trainer’s seat was dumbfounded.

A few seconds later, he stiffly twisted his neck, looking at Abomasnow whose arm was twitching halfway exposed from the broken wall, confirming his complete lack of resistance.

”The, the Steelix’s Heavyweight Charge was very effective! The Abomasnow was rammed into the wall! A heart-shaking strike!”

The commentator’s voice trembled for a moment before regaining composure.

Exactly.

Only Abomasnow.

Glalie created a Substitute at the moment of collision to evade the direct impact, but even so, it was blown away by the aftermath, still feeling its body almost twisting in its mind.

”Oh no...”

Glalie looked at the Mega Steelix pulling its massive head out of the wall. The opponent turned its head and bared its gleaming white teeth, its gaze made Glalie shiver uncontrollably.

It seemed to return to its past dwelling on the snow mountain, witnessing a real avalanche.

A natural disaster.

Glalie equated the Mega Steelix with the avalanche in its heart, unable to hear its trainer’s calls, dumbly frozen in place.

Baimu gave no chance to this dumbfounded kid.

”Electric Grid, Iron Tail.”

The Porygon II, also blown away by the aftermath, swung its metallic tail, casting a net made of lightning towards Glalie not far away like a fisherman.

Glalie belatedly realized the need to dodge, but it was too late.

It became trapped in place by the electric grid.

The Mega Steelix swung its massive tail that could suffocate, and smashed heavily onto Glalie.

For the latter.

It was like a mountain falling towards it.

Bang!

Dust rose into the air!

Scattered by the wind, revealing Glalie deeply embedded in the ground.

It and its companion Abomasnow were one stuck in the wall, the other buried underground, all turned into spiraling eyes.

”Abomasnow and Glalie have lost their combat ability! Contestant Baimu wins!”

The referee raised the red flag symbolizing Baimu.

The commentator enthusiastically shouted, ”Overwhelming victory! Contestant Baimu advances to the third round without breaking a sweat! Where exactly is his limit! Let’s wait and see!”

Crack!

The audience erupted in an extremely enthusiastic reaction!

The stunning power of the Mega Steelix was truly astounding, whether it was the sandstorm incarnate, or the Heavyweight Charge fully exploiting its size advantage.

Both made their hearts tremble at the same time, exclaiming in delight!

This is what makes the battle worth watching!

”Steelix! Steelix! Steelix!”

The whole audience began chanting the name of Steelix, making the previously dignified Mega Steelix couldn’t help but reveal a goofy smile.

”Roar~”

It loved being adored by everyone!

In Pyrite Town, there were also many people who admired it!
