Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 953: Chapter 593: Magical Maiden!

Before formally starting.

Baimu glanced at his inventory.

The level reward still retained only the line ”Increase by 5 levels for levels below lv90,” and everything else that could be fed was fed completely.

The technique rewards included String Shot, Harden, Brave Bird Assault, Treasure Gathering Skill, Ice Breath, Close Combat, Earth Split, and seventeen skill blind boxes.

The Magic Brilliance and Magic Space that had been stocked for over half a year were all given to the altered-color Gengar, while the standard simulation techniques were all learnable by Pokémon, which is quite good.

The greatest beneficiary among them was Aggron.

Counting the three previous normal simulations by the Gambler, it obtained four techniques: Evil Fluctuation, Slender Horn, Splitting Tiles, and Pounce.

And Pounce, being a technique where the higher the defense, the greater the output, in the hands of Aggron, will undoubtedly exhibit extraordinary destructive power.

As for Pokémon clues, there are still those three—to specify Attribute, specify Attribute (excellent), and Legendary clues.

Currently, there’s not much opportunity to use the last clue; perhaps later when free time comes, it might be used to chase a Second-level God.

Baimu couldn’t help but recall Lei Gong, that proud big cat whose words don’t match his heart.

What? Temur Sabertooth?

In front of him, the difference between a cat and a tiger isn’t really that big; don’t you see how it resisted when first meeting Lei Gong, to later on rubbing and purring in his hands?

It would be nice to have the chance to meet up with that fellow again.

He laughed a bit, clicking on the simulation option.

[Choose your region of birth ▽]

The Gambler is from the Kanto Region, so this time it’s the turn of the neighboring Johto Region.

[Choose your gender ▽]

Last time male, this time it’s the turn of female.

[Choose your Pokémon ▽]

Misdreavus?

Rarely does someone start with a Ghost Type, what kind of person would be the simulation target? Someone like Furong who can communicate with spirits?

Baimu pressed the talent option with some anticipation.

Fixed Talent:

[☆Magic Apprentice (masters basic Pokémon magic)]

Selectable Talent:

[☆Well-trained (Pokémon have higher overall qualities)]

[Kind-hearted (willing to help others)]

[Maternal Aura (good at caring for young Pokémon)]

[Appearance Reflects the Heart (more attracted to and matched with Pokémon of similar appearance)]

Indeed it’s Double Blue Talent!

Fixed Talent Magic Apprentice... Magic!?

Baimu’s pupils shook in disbelief, almost doubting his eyes.

After all, magic doesn’t really seem to match Pokémon, ninjas, shamans, and superpower users seem more harmonious.

Magic? Are you kiddi—?

Hmm?

Baimu suddenly recalled that there indeed exists Pokémon Mages in the anime storyline, who even once turned Ash Ketchum from human to Pikachu.

The episodes happened to be in the later part of No Seal, when Ash went to travel in Johto.

However, the magic in the storyline is more akin to alchemy, using various Pokémon body structures mixed to create magical potions.

It didn’t feature anything like Harry Potter’s wand magic or broomstick flying.

Overall, it was somewhat similar to his previous simulation of Pharmacist and Sister Xiangfen, albeit one focused on chemistry to make bombs ”slaughter,” and the other on healing perfumes ”therapy.”

And basically, it only needed items from Grass-type Pokémon.

Pokémon magic is different, needing even specific techniques of Pokémon, even the dirt under the nails of a particular Pokémon.

It can be seen that Pokémon magic is essentially wrapped in a layer of chemistry, fundamentally still Alchemy Mysticism.

Potion to turn into Pokémon ah...

He became increasingly eager to see the results of this simulation.

Blue Talent must be chosen among the selectable; the remaining three all seem good, and it’s rare for them all to be positive.

Perhaps there might be a problem with Appearance Reflects the Heart?

Isn’t going to simulate the witch from Snow White, right?

Recalling the rather aged Gambler, Baimu’s curiosity greatly inflated, and he straightforwardly chose Appearance Reflects the Heart.

If simulated as an old granny, it might be quite fun.

Start simulation!

Baimu pressed the confirm button, suddenly extending his hand to embrace Blissey, rubbing it twice to vent a small anticipation within, the sudden action startled the altered-color Gengar beside him.

”Geng?”

It softly leaned over to the book, peeking at it, pondering what content could cause the Trainer to have such a strong reaction, alas it couldn’t read.

Looking at Blissey again, its expression was normal, as if nothing had happened.

The altered-color Gengar unconsciously turned to look at scattered Pokémon around, seeing ”just as expected” expressions on their faces, its mind started playing a symphony.

Should it retreat a bit?

Luckily, after Baimu embraced Blissey and rubbed it, there were no other actions, resuming to focus on ”reading,” letting the altered-color Gengar breathe a sigh of relief.

——

[Simulation Starts]

The light screen unfolded, revealing blue skies, white clouds, and dense forests.

The image extended upward, occupying most of the screen was a somewhat eerie-looking gray ancient castle.

A small figure wearing a mage hat squeezed out from the gate, carrying a pink little box, while not far away, Misdreavus twirled around her like ghostly fires.

Narration appeared.

[At the age of fifteen, as a Magic Apprentice, you successfully obtained the qualification for external training from the Dean]

Magic School! Hogwarts!

Baimu stared at that ancient castle in surprise.

He originally thought those who claimed to be Mages but were actually Alchemists should, like in the storyline, hold ancestral books passed down and do independent research—not expecting there actually to be an organization.

But only fifteen years old...

Magical Maiden?
