Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 962: Chapter 597: Nirvana Potion

Yanmo Gym.

The Gym Leader is a Dragon Tamer who specializes in using Dragon-type Pokémon.

It is worth noting that although Dragon Tamers are skilled in using Dragon-type Pokémon, they actually love all Pokémon that resemble dragons.

Although the drug-using Hatterene easily defeated Kingdra and Dragonair due to its Attribute advantage,

the combination of Gyarados and Charizard proved challenging.

Fortunately, besides Hatterene, the Mage also had Mismagius, a Pokémon that fully demonstrated the Blue Talent of being Well-trained, so the Yanmo Gym Battle did not encounter too many difficulties.

[You defeated the Yanmo Gym Leader and obtained the Yanmo Badge]

It’s in hand.

Qualification for the Silver Conference.

Baimu inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief.

You can tell if the opponent is strong from the Gym Battle stage.

The kind that generally can’t pass the preliminaries often gets stuck at the seventh or eighth Gym, taking at least two or three attempts.

And those who can reach the top eight or above, like Shinji, can usually pass the Gym Battle in one go without being stuck.

This horizontal push by the Mage belongs to the type likely to win.

So far, twice the Double Blue Talent simulations have guaranteed Champion results, but whether there will be better or worse results...

remains to be seen.

In any case, Baimu was quite eager for the level rewards of winning the Conference or higher.

[You finished the Gym challenge and returned to the Magic School]

The Mage did not stay long in Yanmo City, and left after saying goodbye to the Gym Leader.

The narrator explained that she planned to return to school to work harder on creating potions to pass the formal exams, while also finding ways to enhance her Pokémon’s strength.

[You are well aware that even the opportunity to contact and collect Ho-Oh’s Holy Fire is scarce, but the principal reminded you that if you win the Conference, the League might allow you to access the Holy Fire]

On such a long journey, the Mage seriously attempted to assess the combat power of her Pokémon for the first time.

”Can’t be the torchbearer?”

Baimu knew well that the Silver Conference’s Holy Fire was directly copied from the Olympic Holy Fire by the creators, and logically, the Mage, as a participant, should have the chance to access it...

Could it be due to the lack of fame?

He regretted not being able to remind the Mage, but felt that if he did remind her, she might not strive so hard to win the Conference.

At this moment.

The screen suddenly began to flicker.

Baimu focused and saw that the Mage, who was supposed to be working hard on making magic potions in her room, had somehow ended up lying on the bed.

[You feel somewhat tired and unconsciously start recalling the past]

Scene transition.

Outside the remnants of a house almost entirely burned down.

Many people were coming and going, and it was not hard to tell from their attire that they were firefighters.

The young Mage stood outside the caution tape, numbly watching the ruins.

[At the age of six, your best friend’s house caught fire, and she, who happened to be left home by her parents, couldn’t escape and tragically perished]

[You found it hard to accept this fact, thinking it was all a dream, so you came to the ruins every day, praying to see it intact]

The young Mage, persistent in the image, was full of sadness.

The unspoken pain required no music, and even in pixel form, it pierced the screen to convey itself.

”...”

Baimu silently reached out and hugged Blissey and the Altered-color Gengar, not minding their confused expressions, unable to resist a soft sigh.

He roughly understood for whom the Nirvana Potion was being made.

But how to use the Nirvana Potion once made? Pour it onto a corpse? Wouldn’t the Mage have to dig up a body?

As Baimu was pondering.

The young Mage fell asleep beside the ruins.

It’s hard to imagine such a small child being able to sleep in a place like this, but the appearance of a Misdreavus made him understand why the young Mage suddenly fell asleep.

A giant bubble symbolizing a dream occupied half of the simulation screen.

In this dream of memories, the young Mage successfully reunited with her little partner in the intact house, happily playing together until she woke up, her face full of tears.

[You first encountered Misdreavus in this desolate ruin that brought you extreme sadness]

At that time, the young Mage didn’t know Misdreavus had the ability to create illusions; the beautiful dream made her believe it was her friend’s soul reincarnated.

[You attempted to lure Misdreavus home, believing as a descendant of a Magic Clan that the ancient texts at home contained a method to turn Pokémon back into humans]

Could humans become Pokémon after death?

Baimu recalled that this scenario hadn’t appeared in the animation.

But if turning directly into Pokémon without the condition of death is considered, there are numerous examples in the Illustrated Guide and urban legends of humans transforming into Pokémon.

In extended Pokémon works, the Pikachu in ”Detective Pikachu” becomes a Pikachu by a human soul entering the Pikachu’s body, while the main characters in the Incredible Maze series often travel between being humans and Pokémon.

He thought Misdreavus probably wasn’t transformed from the Mage’s partner; its appearance was purely coincidental.

Unfortunately, the fragile young Mage saw Misdreavus as an emotional sanctuary and took the matter of resurrecting her friend very seriously, which led her to find what was recorded in the ancient texts as the Nirvana Potion.

No wonder Mismagius is so special.

Other Pokémon have suffixes of raw materials or tools, but not this one.

Baimu never expected the Mage to believe Mismagius was her childhood friend transformed, making its status truly exceptional.
