Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 968: Chapter 599: Reunion with Lugia (Part 2)

”Is it really Kyogre?”

The solemnity in Xiaogang’s squinting eyes spread, and the captain next to him tightened his grip.

Xiaoguang was puzzled and asked, ”Kyogre? Why would we encounter Kyogre?”

”Don’t worry, it might just be a group of Wailord.” Baimu patted Piplup’s head and walked towards the deck.

This little penguin clearly sensed something and kept looking in the direction of the storm.

Arriving at the deck.

He took the binoculars from Liuqia’s hand and carefully looked towards the storm, indeed seeing a large bright source of light above the sea, slowly moving with the storm toward them.

Baimu muttered quietly, ”Flying and manipulating the storm? That huge figure doesn’t quite resemble a thundercloud...”

’Chirp——’

”Hmm?”

He paused for a moment, put down the binoculars, and asked Liuqia beside him, ”Did you hear any sound? Something like...”

Whale’s cry!

Ah!

Baimu, like waking from a dream, urgently raised the binoculars again to look into the storm, while Liuqia, confused, said she didn’t hear anything.

”Shh, listen carefully.”

He pressed his finger against his lips, forcing her to put aside her curiosity and focus her ears.

’Chirp——’

The long, melodious cry, like singing and sobbing.

Like the rhythm of the sea, the breath of the currents.

Liuqia: ”!”

Her eyes lit up as she looked at Baimu and couldn’t help but ask, ”Is that the call of Kyogre?”

He did not answer, instead snapping his fingers at the air.

Clap!

”Hmph~”

Altered-color Gengar suddenly jumped out from the shadow, then, like a gymnast, with feet together, stretched out its claws, tightened its small belly, and raised its body in a serious manner.

Even Baimu, who was not in a playful mood, couldn’t help but be amused by its comical appearance, ”Alright, alright, you’re more professional than that Pokémon on TV yesterday. Okay, give me the silver feather.”

”Hehehehe~”

Pleased with the praise, Altered-color Gengar lowered its head, rummaged around the swirl on its belly like Doraemon, and successfully pulled out a bag, handing it over like treasure.

Baimu stroked its head as Liuqia curiously leaned in closer, and upon receiving and opening the bag, dazzling silver light instantly filled their vision.

”Indeed...”

”What kind of feather is this?”

”The cloud mass is approaching us! Too fast! We can’t evade it!”

The captain shouted despairingly from inside the captain’s room.

Baimu urgently turned his head and shouted, ”Don’t panic! That guy is probably my ’acquaintance’... No, it’s a Pokémon I know! It’ll be alright!”

Everyone: ”Huh?”

”I’ll explain later.”

He released Hydreigon from the Pokeball, jumped onto its back, and patted its central head, ”Go!”

”Ssha!”

Hydreigon’s wide wings flapped rapidly, completely ignoring the terrifying force of storm and lightning, quickly flying forward.

”Hmph!”

Altered-color Gengar promptly slipped back into Baimu’s shadow, without being left behind.

Xiaogang didn’t react immediately, until the latter flew far away before running out of the captain’s room, shouting, ”Too dangerous! Come back, Baimu!”

”—I’ll chase him!”

Without a second thought, Liuqia mounted the nearby Altaria and chased after.

Xiaogang was stunned, frustrated, and yelled, ”Liuqia! Liu—why are these two so reckless, Xiaoguang, you better not chase after!”

Xiaoguang withdrew her eager gaze, awkwardly waving, ”I won’t, I won’t.”

In the distant sky.

Rushing towards the storm, Baimu soon felt the rain pounding against him, but he didn’t care, continuing to listen to the cries that even the roaring wind could not suppress.

Seemingly aware of his approach, there was a trace of joy mixed in the cries.

Boom!

Thunder roared.

The bright blue light illuminated Baimu and Hydreigon’s faces, symbolizing their complete entry into the terrifying storm.

In the rear.

Altaria carried Liuqia to the edge of the storm. Every attempt to fly deeper was thwarted by sudden gales, and its double wings gradually got drenched by the pouring rain.

”...Let’s go back, Altaria!”

Liuqia bit her lip reluctantly, puzzled why Hydreigon could penetrate while Altaria couldn’t.

Staying in the rain any longer would be dangerous.

”Chulu!”

Altaria chirped crisply and swiftly turned to fly away; it hated the feeling of its wings getting wet.

Inside the storm.

The hurricane swayed Hydreigon left and right, with azure lightning flashing and exploding in the dark clouds, causing hearts to tremble.

”Shasa——”

It shouted to signal the Trainer to crouch down and lower his center of gravity to avoid being blown away by the wailing gale.

However, at the next moment.

A crystal-clear water-colored light turned into a ball of light, enveloping Hydreigon and Baimu on its back, slowly floating towards the center of the storm.

The last trace of hesitation in Baimu’s heart vanished; he wiped the water droplets off his face and exhaled a sigh of relief.

”I didn’t expect it to be you guys.”

He looked at the ”light sphere” revealing its true form not far away, showing both happiness and doubt on his face.

”Chou wu——”

Lugia, emitting a dazzling white light like Kunpeng, let out a prolonged cry, as the young Lugia behind it exuberantly flew over.

It chirped lively, ”Wu~”

Baimu waved to greet it, ”Long time no see, Little Silver. Why are you guys here creating a storm? Aren’t you staying in the Sea Mauville area?”

”Wu~” Little Lugia craned its slender neck, flying around Hydreigon while chirping, unknown what it was saying.

It’s time to use the Divine Heart.

Baimu rubbed his hands, happy that the Lugia Mother and Child hadn’t forgotten him and came over specially after sensing the gifted feather to greet him.

Though getting close through a storm was a bit intimidating.

Coincidentally, it’s necessary to mention the issue of Shadow Lugia to them; perhaps the Purification Room, combined with their power, could heal the former.

Original game elements that haven’t appeared, Baimu wasn’t sure.

Hydreigon slowly flew to the front of Lugia, and in the latter’s curious gaze, he extended his right hand and said softly, ”Listen to my heart, open your heart.”

”Wu...”

Lugia blinked its large eyes; the friendly and intense goodwill emitted by the counterpart prompted it to allow that hand to be placed against its brow.

In an instant.

A faint golden light seeped from the palm, quickly spreading across Lugia’s entire body.

Seeing this, Little Lugia curiously flew around its mother and made curious sounds at Hydreigon, ”Wu?”

”Shasa...”

Hydreigon responded with a hoarse roar.

The two Pokémon began to communicate with each calling to one another.

Meanwhile, within the brilliantly golden Mind Space, Baimu’s Mond Will soared towards the amazed Lugia; the two exchanged inner thoughts and some memory fragments, soon completing a mind exchange.

He communicated what needed to be conveyed to the other’s heart.

”So that’s it... Little Silver was discovered while playing outside, and those people chased you all the way, forcing you to start a storm and thunderstorm to interfere with their devices.”

He showed an expression as if everything made sense.

The Legendary Pokémon being persecuted by humans seemed to be a law; the Lugia Mother and Child had originally fled to the Hoenn Region due to persecution by Rocket Team, and now they had to move again.

——In that case, head directly to the Ore Region.

Baimu’s suggestion was endorsed by Lugia, with the key being the latter knowing that there was a Lugia in the Ore Region hoping to borrow its strength to save itself.

Lugia couldn’t ignore a rare kin suffering under dark powers, decisively deciding to take Little Silver to the Ore Region.

However.

Before that, it wished to escort Baimu, ensuring his safe arrival at Ever Grande Island, also bringing a breeze and rain there.

A humble blessing for his upcoming alliance tournament.

”Chou wu——”

The prolonged cry pulled Baimu out of the Divine Heart communication state.

He looked at the radiant-eyed Lugia, tugged at the corner of his mouth and said, ”Isn’t this a bit too grand?”

”Wu~”

Lugia sprayed a mist at him, eyes full of laughter.
