Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 783: Chapter 515: Fusion of Water and Fire! (Part 2)

So, what kind of performance can we expect to see? It’s incredibly exciting.

In the preparation room.

Xiaosheng sighed helplessly, complaining, ”Sister is acting recklessly again. Really, she hasn’t learned anything useful from Ash Ketchum, just how to be reckless.”

”I think Xiaoyao definitely has her own plan, she wouldn’t do something without a purpose.” Xiaogang had a lot of confidence in Xiaoyao.

Baimu pricked up his ears to listen for a few moments, understanding that this girl probably changed the Pokémon she originally planned to perform with halfway through.

Quite a knack.

Unlike him, who decides the Pokémon to perform with first and then designs the content as a Coordinator Trainer.

Xiaoyao is a special Coordinator Trainer who evenly cultivates performance content and relies on sudden inspiration. This is evident as she has consistently competed using Skitty’s [Assist] throughout her Advanced Generation.

Changing the originally planned Pokémon for better effects?

A very common practice.

And if he guessed correctly...

Baimu looked at the TV expectantly; on the main stage, Xiaoyao was starting her self-created, self-realized Water and Fire Fusion Skill, which had once amazed countless people, just as he imagined.

On the screen.

Blaziken leaped high and then landed heavily, using Flame Kick continuously to strike the pool water through the floating boards, causing waves of water to surge into the sky and blend with the rising flames.

Rumble—

In the continuous sound of explosions, there was no white mist from water evaporation.

In contrast, countless brilliant light particles burst forth, mixing with the crystal-clear water droplets and glittering splendidly over the entire venue, revealing a hint of rainbow colors in the sunlight.

The halos swirled, making people’s eyelids slightly droop, yet unwilling to look away.

Water and fire.

These two completely opposing elements were combined to an admirable degree under Xiaoyao and Blaziken’s manipulation.

Mikoli had already stood up, arms outstretched like the Pope praying to the heavens, fully enjoying the sudden change of hot and cold light particles and smooth water droplets.

Exclamations echoed one after another in the preparation room.

Xiaosheng was so excited that he clenched his fist, wanting to shout loudly to cheer for his sister, but ultimately he held back. Even the effect on TV was this good, let alone the live performance.

Baimu regretted not going with Xiaoguang.

But on the stage.

Xiaoyao’s performance wasn’t over yet.

Blaziken dashed over the water like a dragonfly, its ghostly figure raising splashes of cold water high behind it.

Then.

A dazzling blue flame swirled around its body, colliding with those splashes once again as it sprinted around the pool.

Boom!

Boom! Boom!

Each time a swirl of splash was swept over, a splendid firework exploded,

In an instant.

The entire stage was covered with orderly light spots, beautiful enough to take one’s breath away, like a summer festival firework display.

”So beautiful! Is this the strength of the Hoenn Dancer? Water and fire are so obedient in their hands!” Vivian shouted what everyone felt.

The people in the preparation room also started enthusiastically discussing.

”Truly worthy of the Hoenn Dancer~”

Liuqia, who had admired Xiaoyao all along, said softly.

”Another high score is about to be born; sigh, I’m really jealous.” Harry shook his head and sighed.

Xiaoshun chuckled softly, ”Finally displaying true strength!”

On the other side.

Xiaosheng kept nudging Baimu’s waist with his elbow, teasing, ”So, how’s it, Brother Baimu, hehehe, isn’t it a lot of pressure? What do you think of my sister’s performance?”

”Are you here to show off your sister?”

Baimu laughed helplessly.

Xiaosheng and Xiaoyao had a brother-sister relationship that was sometimes good and sometimes not, but regardless, his sister’s exceptional performance was always something for him to boast about.

On the screen, the four judges spoke in turn.

Patistan rambled on and on, Voice Breaker Liu Lai’s voice cracked for the first time, and Mikoli struck a pose as if thanking the heavens for this opportunity.

Miss Joy was the most normal, at most glancing blushingly at Mikoli.

Under the audience’s expectant gazes, they began to score.

Beep beep beep beep—

9.9/9.9/9.8/9.8

Totaling 39.4 points, the highest score once again refreshed, and Xiaoyao undoubtedly became the first place in the preliminary review.

After all, it was the Water and Fire Fusion Skill, and Blaziken, after showcasing its own characteristic—Leg Techniques—managed to control these two conflicting attributes to such an extent. In the past scoring criteria, a perfect score wouldn’t have been a problem.

It’s just that nowadays, the general notion of perfection prevents judges from daring to give such scores.

”Highest score!”

Xiaosheng cheered with his hands raised.

——

Xiaoyao happened to be the last contestant in the morning.

Therefore, after she finished,

The competition temporarily stopped, and the judges and audience left to enjoy lunch or rest, resuming the afternoon’s first review at 12:30.

The people in the preparation room didn’t leave; they had already prepared lunch in advance before setting out, only needing to heat it to eat.

As a talented cook, Xiaogang made a lot of food and promptly invited others to share.

A reserved Wula La initially planned to decline, but with a word from Baimu, she audaciously accepted, even offering her own prepared dishes for everyone to enjoy.

Adding to this was Xiaoguang’s delicious Poffins made by herself.

Lunch was therefore exceptionally sumptuous.

Baimu also took out the one prepared by him and Liuqia, and the moment it was opened, it dazzled with light, drawing exclamations of surprise from some and bizarre expressions from others.

”Did you... did you put fluorescent agents in the food?”

Wula La thought for a few seconds, then tentatively asked.

Xiaoshun and Harry also looked like they wanted to avoid it. Those who haven’t seen Little Chef wouldn’t think glowing food is a good thing.
