Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 759: Chapter 504: Xiaosheng’s Despair (2)

In the muffled sound of the wind, the red light shot from Xiaosheng’s Pokeball was blocked by the Tide Spin, and the Eelektross, trying to evade, couldn’t escape, trapped within and suffering from the onslaught of the waves.

”It’s time to finish this, Misfortune Never Comes Alone.”

Baimu raised his hand.

The blood-red eyes of the Corsola were covered by a purple-red glow, and a bizarre eyeball shrouded in black mist suddenly appeared above its head, continuously emitting ghostly violet waves forward.

”Break free quickly!” Xiaosheng shouted, looking up.

Unfortunately, the power of the waves wasn’t something the burned Eelektross could resist. No matter how it struggled, the massive suction and torsion inside still held it firmly in place.

The eerie waves closed in.

Buzz——

The water spray separated under the energy agitation, exposing the trapped Eelektross inside. The eerie purple light quickly began to corrode its body.

”Uh!!”

It let out a painful groan.

”Huh? Didn’t take it down? This Special Defense is impressive.”

Baimu was a bit surprised that the combination of waves, burn, and Misfortune Never Comes Alone hadn’t been able to take it down, ”Could it be——”

The words hadn’t been finished.

Suddenly, the Tide Spin exploded with a bang, and amidst the splattering water, the Eelektross fell to the ground like a kite with a broken string.

Its whole body was soaked, and its eyes were replaced by spiral circles.

Oh, praised too early.

Baimu exchanged a glance with the Corsola on the lawn, ignoring its intense demand to clock off, thinking that this guy should indeed focus more on damage stacking than explosive output.

When power isn’t enough, special effects fill the gap.

From afar.

Xiaosheng, looking dejected, retrieved Eelektross, ”You’ve worked hard, Eelektross.”

He had planned to show Baimu the fruits of his journey through the Unova Region, but so far, it’s almost no different from the battles aboard the Milotic!

An unfathomable chasm still exists between the two.

”Continue?”

Baimu’s voice came from afar.

Xiaosheng took a deep breath, glanced at his sister Xiaoyao cheering him on beside him, and spoke loudly, ”Of course continue! I haven’t lost yet! Go, my partner!”

The Pokeball was thrown.

Bang!

With a flash of light.

A clam-like Pokémon with short and stout features, covered all over with spikes, and having three vines and metallic substructures on its top, landed on the ground.

”Nado!”

The muffled voice echoed into Baimu and the Corsola’s ears.

Choosing completely ’new’ Pokémon?

He was somewhat surprised looking at Xiaosheng, expecting the latter to bring out his evolved Banette and Gardevoir, but unexpectedly, he chose only Pokémon captured in the Unova Region from start to finish...

This habit was learned from that Ash Ketchum guy?

”Alright, alright, clock off then, well done.”

Baimu helplessly took out a Pokeball, originally intending to use its counter attributes against Gardevoir and Banette.

”Sang!”

The Corsola perked up, its mouth curling upwards, the entire Pokémon seemed radiant!

Clock off! Clock off!

Overtime is really too painful~

The Corsola in the Pokeball’s red light couldn’t hide its good mood, pretending not to see the trainer’s twitching mouth.

And after retrieving Corsola.

Baimu thought for a second and tossed a Pokeball.

Bang!

”Sasha!!”

The white light appeared with a high-pitched roar, after the light receded, the extremely audacious Hydreigon emerged in front of Xiaosheng and all the spectators.

As its three pairs of wings slowly flapped, its pitch-black figure seemed somewhat terrifying under the night.

”Hydreigon! Deino evolved!”

Xiaosheng remembered even Corsola, naturally not forgetting the Deino that used to run behind Baimu.

It’s just that the little guy’s temperament seems to have changed greatly, and encountering such a fierce Pokémon in the wild, he estimated he’d turn around and run without a second thought.

It seems his small achievements are nothing in front of Brother Baimu.

It’s ridiculous that he was conceited enough to think the new Pokémon he cultivated would surely surprise Brother Baimu.

Now it seems.

It was he himself who was astonished.

Watching Hydreigon, a surge of fighting spirit rose in Ash Ketchum’s gaze.

Defeat in battle is not important; what matters is having the courage to continue challenging after being defeated!

One of the trainers he admires—Ash Ketchum—taught him this profound truth through actions!

”Ferrothorn! Missile Needle!”

He shouted aloud.

In front of him, Ferrothorn raised its vine-shaped claws, aiming at Hydreigon and launched emerald green needles like rays of light!

Puff puff puff puff—

The light arrows locked onto most of the space around Hydreigon, so no matter which way it dodged, it would at least be hit by one.

Such targeted techniques have clearly been seriously practiced.

”Defend.”

Baimu raised his hand.

At the moment his words fell, a spherical honeycomb-shaped light shield was erected in front of Hydreigon.

Recently, I’ve rarely let this guy participate in officially weighed battles, but our mutual understanding has been cultivated with effort, not abandoned with the birth of Divine Heart.

Although Hydreigon has not undergone mega evolution, they’ve already reached a point where it knows his thoughts just as he is about to speak, even faster than telepathy.

Undoubtedly, this is a direct manifestation of their bond.

Bang bang bang—

The light arrows kept landing on the light shield, and the explosive energy lightly shook it.

”The power is not bad, especially for a non-same type move performing this well.”

Baimu praised Ferrothorn, glancing at the increasing number of onlookers, and regrettably said, ”However, let’s stop here for now.

”Trick, Evil Fluctuation.”

”Sasa.”

Hydreigon suddenly looked up, gazing at the sky under the moonlight as if praying.

Dark light flowed.

Soon, the orange-red ascending air current that enhanced ability began to wash over its body surface, elevating its originally terrifying aura another level.

The opposing Ferrothorn began to panic, and Xiaosheng knew things were not favorable, shouting loudly.

”Gyro Ball! Charge!”

”Nadoo!”

Ferrothorn gathered its courage, spinning in place, and in a breath transformed into a large bright silver projectile, charging at the unyielding Hydreigon opposite.

Its original speed was very slow, but under the acceleration of Gyro Ball’s spin, it erupted with a formidable speed!

However.

Just as it advanced halfway, the sinister Hydreigon in the dark lowered its head, its chest suddenly swelled as if instantly filled with air.

In the next moment.

Three terrifying pitch-black waves like a gale swept across the lawn, shaking the air and stirring up grass clippings and dust, rushing towards the metallic projectile Ferrothorn with destructive force!

Kaboom—!!!

The deafening explosion continued to echo in the ears of the surrounding onlookers. Xiaoyao stood in a daze at this scene, while Xiaosheng, facing the dark waves, trembled even more!

What terrifying power!

They recalled the trainers they encountered during their travels with Ash Ketchum and found that only a handful could unleash similar destructive power!

So this is the strength Baimu shows when he gets serious!

Watching their Ferrothorn engulfed by the waves, Xiaosheng kept shouting, hoping it could hold out, but he knew the chances were slim.

Ferrothorn’s endurance is strong, but even strong endurance has its limits, and the current attack by Hydreigon clearly exceeded its tolerance range.

Soon.

Hydreigon’s three heads stopped spewing out waves, it slowly closed its mouth, its scarlet eyes staring at the lawn that looked plowed by a typhoon, smoke billowing, a gush of white smoke bursting from its nostrils.

”Sasa...”

Without a doubt.

Xiaoyao and Xiaosheng’s guesses were correct.

Porygon II has many forms, holding the powerful advantage of a first-strike kill, but essentially has not yet fully stepped into the ”first-tier” echelon.

As a Pokémon daring enough to challenge Aggron for the title of ace.

Hydreigon is the front-running force of Baimu’s team.

In terms of output, before Mawile masters mega evolution, it is currently the most terrifying in destructiveness. After grasping [Trick], its power rose to despair-inducing levels for ordinary people.

The dust clouds slowly disperse.

Ferrothorn stopped in front of a shallow pit, its eyes covered by black rings, behind it a patch of intact grassland.

Apparently, the evil attribute energy did not penetrate through its body, dropping behind it.
