Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 765: Chapter 507: Gentleman’s Favor_2

”Hmm?”

Baimu stared with eyes wide, and his tone instantly froze the latter in place, ”Don’t waste food!”

Hydreigon heard the words, lowered its head in frustration, and flew back.

”Sssss...”

He shifted his gaze, as expected, Brother Dragapult was nowhere to be seen because they were surrounded by Gym Pokémon, and Social Dinosaur was not only socially anxious to humans but even more so to Pokémon.

Even though most of the Gym Pokémon were gazing admiringly at Altered-color Milotic, they paid no attention to this small, inconspicuous one.

”Mee, mee...”

Altered-color Milotic, surrounded tightly, was somewhat troubled. It was already full, yet these enthusiastic Pokémon kept offering it food.

Baimu was slightly surprised by this.

The Pokémon from the Glazed Gym usually lived alongside the two Milotics of Adam and Mikoli, yet they couldn’t resist the allure of the Altered-color Milotic’s appearance?

Could the Altered-color Milotic be a dual-trait Pokémon with a hidden trait, ”Attractive Body”?

Or is it like those beautiful girls of other races, having a special bonus?

It’s possible.

Baimu thoughtfully looked at Milotic.

After waiting a while.

Until the slow-eating Blissey finished, he took them back and headed to the field.

During which he asked other Pokémon not included in the teaching range if they wanted to go play alone, like other Gym Pokémon.

Only the most lively and adventurous Brother Dragapult initially responded positively, but when it found out other Pokémon weren’t going, it also gave up.

Its adventure wasn’t a single Dragon clearance mode.

——

In the field.

Adam stood by the pool, watching his group of Pokémon swim and play within.

”Mr. Adam.”

Baimu slowly approached, maintaining respect.

”Since I’ve chosen to teach you Pokémon knowledge, then in this field, it’s only a teacher-student relationship.”

The middle-aged gentleman turned and said, ”My teaching may be quite strict, and it requires you to unconditionally follow my guidance to the best of your ability. I won’t stop even if you occasionally feel it’s excessive. Can you accept this?”

”Understood... Teacher!”

Baimu nodded heavily without hesitation and changed his address.

Adam showed an approving expression and said again, ”Very good, then the first thing, let me see all your Pokémon.”

”... Okay.”

He originally wanted to say that not all of his Pokémon participated in the Gorgeous Competition, but since Adam just talked about unconditional obedience, he could only comply.

Numerous Pokeballs were thrown out.

Bam bam bam——

After the intense burst of white light, including the Giant Steelix routinely playing over with him, a total of eleven Pokémon lined up neatly, each displaying a different demeanor.

”Hmm~”

Adam leaned back with both hands, his gaze sweeping over all the Pokémon, an indescribable meaning in his eyes.

Baimu glared at a few restless ones, making them stand properly. He kept looking at the invisible Dragapult, forcing the latter to reluctantly lower its head and show itself.

A parade-like atmosphere arose spontaneously.

Influenced by the Giant Steelix, the Pokémon playing in the pool came over, curiously watching Aggron and the others.

Dragapult, with its head deeply buried, felt even more uncomfortable, its body trembling slightly, uneasy sitting yet still persisted in not becoming invisible.

The Aggron beside it noticed, quietly shifted its tail, trying to cover its body.

Although it seemed insignificant.

But with the tail in front, Dragapult inexplicably felt a psychological comfort of hiding behind a shield.

Clap!

The familiar snapping sound made it look up, seeing Baimu’s face of comfort and affection in the distance. The faint nod from the other also let it know it could become invisible.

But Dragapult thought carefully for seconds, choosing to persist.

Moved?

Perhaps a little.

More so, it believes if it already appeared, suddenly disappearing would be more conspicuous, drawing attention and causing all the Pokémon to look at it, it couldn’t handle.

Not even a slight possibility!

And after taking a full view of all the Pokémon’s demeanors.

Adam smiled and said, ”Indeed a group of unique Pokémon, very interesting, excellent, excellent.”

Absolutely.

This place is famous as a shelter for problem children, with every type of Pokémon personality.

Baimu muttered to himself, hearing Adam speak again.

”So far, you seem to have only let Blissey and Mawile perform in the Gorgeous Competition. Since Milotic is the theme of this Mikoli Club, what about other Pokémon? Do you have plans for their performances?”

”No.”

He shook his head, facing the other’s gaze, saying, ”Aggron and the others aren’t very interested in the Gorgeous Competition, so I didn’t include them in the performance system.”

”I see, valuing the Pokémon’s own needs.”

Adam nodded slightly, showing a few signs of appreciation in his gaze.

The relationship between a Trainer and Pokémon is quite complex, and everyone is different.

Some treat them as partners, others as their children, and yet some believe they’re the master while Pokémon are servants, even many seeing Pokémon solely as battle tools.

He’s seen many who claim their Pokémon are partners, for the sake of friendship, yet they never truly respect their Pokémon as Trainers.

And those Trainers’ Pokémon always look at them with eyes full of numbness, evasion, and timidity, believing if their Pokeballs were broken, they’d run away without hesitation.

Is this what partners are like?

Adam, having been a Gym Leader for over twenty years, has long developed a discerning eye. By looking at a Pokémon’s demeanor, he can tell the relationship quality between a Trainer and Pokémon.

Undoubtedly.

The eyes of Aggron and the other Pokémon made him very satisfied.

Adam could tell Baimu poured his love and care into each Pokémon to the best of his ability, so his Pokémon always looked at him with attachment, trust, and enthusiasm.

Even that seemingly disgruntled Galarian Corsola, its eyes constantly focused on Baimu, showed no fear or timidity. Such silent protest behavior couldn’t be shown between Trainers and Pokémon with poor relations.

Upon seeing Altered-color Milotic yesterday.

Adam had a foreboding feeling, and now seeing the whole group confirmed Baimu didn’t treat his Pokémon differently, making him more satisfied with this fortunate student.

No wonder Mawile and Blissey’s performances in the Gorgeous Competition were astounding.

So now there’s only one issue left——

How to cajole... no, persuade Baimu to focus on cultivating around Milotic in the future?

Though Mikoli is still young.

Yet who wouldn’t want their legacy to flourish? Besides, with Mikoli’s Champion position switching as quickly as Da Wu, running wild around the world.

Leaving Glazed Gym to him is unreliable!

Baimu is so good!

Handsome, with a good physique, treats his Pokémon extremely well, and cultivated an Altered-color Milotic... talented indeed, perfect for being a Gym Leader.

Adam looked at the slightly nervous Baimu, thinking his time was limited.

One month.

He must find a way to let this child know the beauty of Glazed Gym!

He regretted not saying more time cautiously back then? Caution is indeed important... but such talent was almost overlooked!

No way.

This child seems quite familiar with Da Wu? And challenging the Hoenn Alliance?

Maybe Da Wu had long planned for Baimu to take over! Hmph! This young man is crafty! First giving the Champion position to his apprentice Mikoli, causing Mikoli to become adventurous, and now eyeing his next apprentice!

Outrageous!!

Adam’s breathing momentarily quickened but calmed down immediately.

Maintain elegance, maintain elegance.

Thinking Mikoli’s account was half-wasted, he realized being a Gym Leader for these two years was responsible but uncertain if the rest could be recovered... Baimu’s new account mustn’t be stolen.

Yes!

Definitely!

Adam furrowed his brows seriously, and Baimu started trembling under the prolonged gaze.

Several kilometers away.

Mikoli, arranging the specific matters of the Mikoli Club, suddenly sneezed.

”Achoo! Who’s thinking of me? Da Wu?”

He murmured softly, a string of people around him in fear.

With the Mikoli Club starting soon, who knows how much was spent on publicity, if this ancestor catches a cold, it’ll be ruined.
