Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 766: Chapter 508: True Love Unrivaled?

The first lesson of the first day.

As expected, Adam asked Baimu to battle against him with Milotic.

”Please go all out to defeat my Milotic.”

Standing on the Hall Master’s exclusive high platform, his voice was not loud but was enough to echo across the entire field, ”An excellent trainer must possess the qualities of water, adapting to any ’container’ and reacting correctly.

”Whether it’s a magnificent art performance or a subtle tactical strategy, let me see your limits.”

”Milu!!”

Adam’s Milotic gently swayed its long tail, lightly tapping the water surface, emitting a shimmering glow like flying sequins, leaving the altered-color Milotic stunned.

”Those are the fragmented lights produced by the reflection of water droplets; don’t be bewildered. The special effects from your scales are even more magnificent!”

Baimu snapped his fingers several times to awaken the fool beside him.

For an altered-color Milotic, a majestic golden-scaled blue-finned serpent to be captivated by another Milotic’s beauty, what on earth is that?

Is your golden scale under the sun not more beautiful than those tiny water splashes?

Please! Stay calm!

After reminding the altered-color Milotic, he looked back at Adam, who smilingly extended his hand, gesturing Baimu to give the first order.

Adam’s calm posture made Baimu feel nervous once again.

He unconsciously licked his lips.

Being used to balanced, or even high-levelled crushing low-levelled battles, going back to those early-stage low-level facing high-level situations felt somewhat unfamiliar.

And with the altered-color Milotic barely reaching level 51, facing Adam’s ace Milotic, there was at least a 20-level gap between them.

Not to mention the accumulated effort values over time.

Maybe it was his illusion, but Adam seemed particularly attentive to the altered-color Milotic, hinting that it might be his primary Pokémon.

It’s challenging...

But there’s definitely not zero chance of winning.

Baimu decided to reserve the precious opportunity for enhanced techniques.

”Coiling!”

”Migorr~”

The altered-color Milotic let out a low growl, diving into the pool, its body naturally spiraling, as orange-red energy surged past instantly.

Upon seeing the order given from the opposition, Adam no longer waited.

”Rain Seeking.”

”Mii-looo~”

His Milotic raised its graceful swan neck with a long cry, and clouds rapidly appeared in the sky above the field at a visible pace.

In an instant.

Raindrops dripped down, causing ripples around.

Manually triggering a rainstorm?

While shocked, Baimu also felt something amiss, ”Frozen Beam! Seal its movement space!”

No matter what Adam prepared, limiting Milotic’s movement was the priority.

”Migorr~”

The altered-color Milotic howled, quickly gathering ice-blue energy in its mouth, and several streaks of ice-blue lightning shot out!

”Tide Spin.”

Adam remained composed, as if unaware of the attack.

Just as the ice-blue lightning was about to strike his Milotic, the previously calm water surface plummeted, a powerful vortex almost drawing in and swirling the entire pool’s water, forming a massive conical void!

Zzz—

The lightning abruptly hit the vortex’s inner wall. The clash created a burst of dazzling light, freezing parts of the water momentarily, only to be immediately shattered into ice granules by the subsequent tidal force.

Ultimately, the Frozen Beam, not being a move of inherent attribute, coupled with the vast level gap, couldn’t execute the intended frozen water surface tactic smoothly.

Moreover, the expanding Tide Spin kept growing stronger, creating suction as it twisted in a spiral and, within a few breaths, reached the altered-color Milotic.

Baimu’s brow furrowed deeply, as he realized Adam’s Milotic possessed formidable strength.

Even if the rain enhanced the Tide Spin’s power, it would be impossible to impact the entire pool without considerable strength.

If he wasn’t mistaken, Adam’s attack probably had more combos!

But he also knew he didn’t have much time to judge, so he decisively ordered, ”Charge in following the water flow’s direction!”

”Migorr!”

The retreating altered-color Milotic, upon hearing the command, leapt from the water surface, diving fearlessly towards the vortex, swimming along the swirling currents to merge within.

The strong trust demonstrated between the two drew a smile from Adam.

”Excellent execution, though merging into Tide Spin may not be wise—Tornado!”

”Milu!”

His Milotic’s eyes glimmered briefly; its tail spun like a fan in the water, controlling the Tide Spin swiftly. Abruptly, a deep blue energy emerged, adhering to the Tide Spin’s surface, producing loud rumbles.

In the next moment.

A towering sea tornado broke through the water surface with a thunderous roar, piercing through the clouds toward the field’s dome!

”Migorr——”

The altered-color Milotic was forced out of the water. Despite swimming along the water flow’s rotation, it was inevitably thrust towards the ceiling!

Thud!

A resounding collision was distinctly audible.

”Since I witnessed your performance at the Fallarbor Conference, I naturally know that Milotic can navigate out of Water Spout through climbing waterfalls.”

Adam exuded a mastery aura, ”But unfortunately, the combined power of Tide Spin and Tornado in this Water Spout is different.”

Years ago, the once invincible Water Spout was shattered by Ash Ketchum’s Pikachu, prompting him to resume his move research, eventually leading to the Tide Spin and Tornado combination.

Unfortunately, not long after, he relinquished his Hall Master position to Mikoli, leaving only a handful who’ve seen this move.
