Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 782: Chapter 515: Water and Fire Fusion!

Wula La, who finished her performance, did not choose to leave.

Even though she currently holds the highest score.

But she considers her score of 39.1 not enough to confidently go shopping; there are so many excellent Coordinator Trainers yet to perform. She merely benefited from being the first to show up.

Not seeing the end makes her uneasy.

Of course.

Changing into a cheerleader outfit is absolutely impossible, no matter how much one begs.

Wula La ignored the disappointed looks from Xiaoguang and Liuqia, firmly sticking to her over-the-knee pleated skirt style, considering short skirts above the knee purely heretical!

”Ha.”

Baimu looked at the dual-ponytail pink-haired girl’s defensive posture like facing an enemy and couldn’t help but smile.

Meanwhile.

Another familiar face took the stage—

Harry, whose outfit changed from a Cacturne style to an Octillery style.

In the Advanced Generation, his role is similar to Wula La’s, both aiming at the villain setup, but finally acknowledging Xiaoyao’s power was inevitable.

His performance, how to say...

Very good.

Octillery moved the tides and targeted bubbles of Bubble Beam with Octopus Barrel Cannon, creating a fireworks illusion that was indeed pleasing to watch, and well demonstrated Octillery’s advantages and characteristics.

But compared to the captivating and wave-riding Garchomp, it somewhat lacked the visual impact that resonates.

In other words, it lacked explosiveness.

Baimu thought, and subsequently, the evaluations from Patistan and others were much in line, although Mikoli appreciated Harry’s interaction guidance during Octillery’s aiming, the score wasn’t high.

Overall score: 38.8.

Harry ended with a rank of third place.

Upon returning, he flaunted a smug attitude facing Xiaoyao’s congratulations, yet showed an unusual interest in the cheerleader outfit.

However, he belongs to a man’s body type, and the female cheerleader outfit simply isn’t big enough.

Had to give up the idea.

”Mother of...”

Baimu grinned, if Xiaoguang wearing a pink short skirt is cute and charming, Harry wearing a pink short skirt would probably look shocking and eye-burning.

The crowd continued to watch the competition.

Not long after Harry left the stage, his third rank was squeezed into a tie for third.

A female Coordinator Trainer, unfamiliar to Baimu, directed a female Jellicent to perform a thrilling split-image water spray show, earning a score of 38.8.

”Leave the intel to me!”

Xiaogang excitedly pulled out his notebook, introducing to the crowd the mature woman’s surname and name, her outstanding past resume, and her skilled Pokémon — these were all brushed over; the focus was on her hobbies, city of origin, personality, and cooking skills.

Discussing irrelevant details to the Gorgeous Competition.

Leaving the crowd speechless.

”By the way, she’s ranked top five beauties in this Mikoli Club by me!” Xiaogang stated solemnly, yet not many were keen to engage him in this conversation.

The time was approaching noon.

The next heavyweight character was about to perform.

”Why isn’t Big Sister nervous at all?” Xiaosheng watched Xiaoyao’s calm expression and initially wanted to console her a bit, but found her expression unchanged.

The aura of confidence was exceptionally strong.

”Of course.”

Xiaoyao smiled at everyone looking at her, ”I seem to be in excellent form today! I’ll surely get a good score!”

As a ”senior” who participated in the Gorgeous Competition a year before Xiaoguang, although she hasn’t yet become a top Coordinator Trainer, she has long developed a method to adjust her own state through trials and tribulations.

Maintaining the best condition for a stage performance is fundamental.

”You all just wait and see!”

Xiaoyao, as agile as a Deerling, raised her hand valiantly.

”Go for it, Big Sister!”

”Go Xiaoyao!”

”I’ll go to the front row to cheer for you!”

Everyone offered encouragement, Xiaoguang and Piplup also prepared to head to the audience seats to cheer her on.

”Hmph.”

Xiaoshun snorted lightly, with a slight smirk, hands in pockets, leaning against a pillar to rest with eyes closed.

As always, arrogant, he naturally wasn’t part of this excitement, moreover, he’s more than clear about Xiaoyao’s capabilities after years of rivalry.

If Xiaoyao were to fail in the first review, he’d surely question who he lost to in those many times before.

——

In front of the stage.

Donning a rose-red short skirt, Xiaoyao confidently took the stage.

Wow!

The audience seats instantly erupted with enthusiastic applause.

Known as the ”Hoenn Dancer,” she has more fans than Xiaoguang, partly due to her father being a heartthrob, but also due to her own charm.

Maturing from youth to fame, such Coordinator Trainers deeply attract many Gorgeous Competition enthusiasts.

The logic is much like idol cultivation.

Bathing in the cheers, Xiaoyao gradually got excited, shouting as she tossed out the Pokéball.

”Blaziken! Let’s Go!”

Bang!

Flames like crimson lotus burst forth, illuminating the semi-transparent azure pool, then gathered to explode, revealing within a Blaziken akin to the Sun god.

”Chirp-mo!”

It landed on the floating board, its body gently swaying with the water waves.

”Eh?”

Many spectators were exceedingly surprised; Xiaoguang and Piplup waving their pom-poms in the front row paused.

Host Vivian also exclaimed in astonishment: ”Unbelievable! Miss Xiaoyao actually chose a Fire-type Pokémon? What kind of show will she perform for us?”

”Hmm.”

A faint smile appeared on Mikoli’s face; in the Mikoli Cup, there are many Coordinator Trainers using Fire-type Pokémon, but few truly skilled ones.

He has always appreciated Xiaoyao, a fellow regional rising star, surely not thinking she’s merely trying to grab attention.
