Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 757: Chapter 503: Absurd Texture_2

Baimu did not respond, but quickly shouted, ”Triple Attack!”

”Pory!”

Porygon II lowered its front body, revealing its fluorescent tail, and three energy spheres of red, blue, and yellow flew out, like floating cannons, transforming into three bright beams and shooting towards Samurott!

Buzz——

The energy sliced through the air, emitting a sharp whistle, and the colorful beams were dazzling in the dark night.

To Baimu’s surprise, Samurott had already raised its upper body at some point, pulling out the two pieces of armor from the tips of its forelimbs, swinging them like dual swords to form an X shape, quickly blocking the incoming beams!

Sizzle——Bang!

Smoke exploded, and Samurott’s figure flickered within it.

But quickly, the smoke was dispelled as it swung the two shell short swords, its sharp eyes remaining strikingly bright in the night, seemingly not much harmed.

Passersby, drawn by the scene, gathered around to watch.

”Not bad.”

Baimu looked at Xiaosheng, who was grinning in the distance, realizing that this Samurott, much like his own Pokémon, had a level of autonomy and would not just stand there waiting to get hit without a Trainer’s command.

Judging by its skill in defending against the attack, even though Porygon II was merely testing, being able to block it so easily was quite an achievement.

Xiaoyao watched her younger brother, and although they frequently kept in touch through their phones, she hadn’t realized Xiaosheng had become so strong.

”Could my little brother be great?”

Amidst the compliments, Xiaosheng’s face was full of pride, his nose almost pointing to the sky, as he boasted:

”How is it, Brother Baimu? Your old tricks can’t handle me anymore! Even though I’ve only gotten four badges, my skills aren’t just limited to those four badges!”

”Hmph, Angularization.”

Baimu laughed lightly, as the white glow emitted from Porygon II’s body.

”Pory!”

After a moment’s breath, its legs transformed into complex pseudo-circular constructs, and it began to spin at high speed, charging towards Samurott like a small car.

”Huh? It can transform!?”

Xiaosheng was a bit stunned, but he dared not sit back and watch Porygon II launch an attack, shouting, ”Water Jet!”

Boom!

A splash of blue water rose out of thin air, surrounding Samurott’s body, transforming it into a flowing dragon, speeding off the ground and charging straight towards Porygon II.

At the same time, Samurott had already positioned itself for a slash within the water flow.

In an instant.

The two were about to collide head-on.

But just a second before contact, Porygon II suddenly twisted its body, the wheel spinning as it drifted, drawing a strange arc, narrowly avoiding the forward-slashing Samurott.

”Whoa!?”

”Nani!?”

Xiaosheng and Samurott were incredulous, while Xiaoyao covered her mouth in astonishment.

How did it dodge like that?

Just like a race car!

”Texture.”

Baimu and the 180-degree turning Porygon II exchanged a smile. The ”wheel” it created might not have been a perfect circle, but the carefully constructed product had traction that a perfect circle never could.

What is a little drift?

Xiaosheng shouted, ”Quick, turn your head and charge back in!”

”Whoa!”

Samurott responded loudly, forcibly twisting the direction of the water column mid-air, and quickly charging back towards Porygon II.

Only now, Porygon II’s appearance had changed somewhat.

Porygon II’s body’s color shifted from red and blue to a bright yellow, with faint blue and white lightning patterns appearing, and its eyes turned into lightning shapes from their previous rounded look.

”Why has it changed again?”

Xiaosheng was completely baffled.

But his instincts told him that the current Porygon II was extremely dangerous and must be avoided.

But it was too late.

”Whoa!”

Samurott’s Water Jet charge was too fast, already nearing Porygon II, with its two shell short swords poised to unleash a thunderous strike!

However.

What greeted it was true Thunder.

”Discharging.”

Rumble——!!

The wildly dancing thunder formed a massive ring, instantly engulfing everything around it.

The electric blast evaporated the water on Samurott’s surface in the blink of an eye, as if altering its magnetic force, leaving its body rigid under the fierce baptism of lightning.

The exploding sound continued to tremble the ears of everyone around.

”Samurott seems to be in trouble...”

Xiaoyao’s expression was solemn; having been with Ash Ketchum for a long time, she had a rough estimate of the power of Electric Techniques.

With the electric power Porygon II was displaying, Samurott would likely struggle to hold on.

Indeed.

When the electrical current was exhausted, the scorched Samurott fell heavily onto the grass, while white smoke rose slowly from its surface, with wisps of current flickering.

It struggled to lift its head, rolled its eyes, and completely fainted, its claws loosened, releasing the Shell Short Sword.

The crowd started to applaud upon seeing this.

”Samurott!”

Xiaosheng exclaimed, nearly losing his glasses perched on his nose.

He hadn’t even had time to showcase Samurott’s special move, the [Shell Blade] that could shred rock to dust instantly—he had prepared it for Aggron’s Rock Lock.

Instead, it was defeated so quickly.

Xiaoyao looked gravely at the Porygon II returning to the Trainer’s side, her fists tight with worry for her brother.

”Well done.”

Baimu softly praised Porygon II, its cool lightning eyes curved into crescents.

”Pah-a-li-li...”

After transforming into an Electric Attribute, its voice carried a peculiar electric tone; Texture truly is a wondrous move.

Samurott’s defeat was unquestionable; facing something with inherent advantage and no defenses, failing to KO in one hit would have been problematic.

Especially with the element of surprise factored in.

Information is crucial in Pokémon battles. At minimum, one must discern the opponent’s Trait, Attribute, and if they have unique moves.

If one fails to grasp even these three basics, they risk falling to a surprise attack by the opponent’s Pokémon.

Not far away.

Xiaosheng grumbled as he recalled Samurott.

While losing confidence after a single Pokémon defeat wasn’t his style, seeing his proud Pokémon knocked out so easily left him inevitably frustrated.

”This time, I won’t let Brother Baimu find an opening! Let’s go!”

He forcefully tossed a Pokeball into the sky.

Boom!

White light flashed.

A Pokémon resembling an eel, with suction-cup-like mouth and gray-blue arms, gently flew in mid-air.

”Ooo—”

Eelektross let out a sharp screech.

This guy is theoretically a Pokémon with no Attribute weaknesses, as its Trait is [Levitate], despite being an Electric Attribute Pokémon.

Related data flashed through Baimu’s mind as he looked at Xiaosheng, who was eager to try, and sighed inwardly.

Too easy to take the bait.

He had Porygon II use Discharging, not only intending to take down Samurott but also hoping to lure out Eelektross—Electric Attribute’s damage against Electric Attribute is halved.

Xiaosheng’s theory wasn’t incorrect, the problem lay in the element of surprise...

Never truly over!

”Acid Bomb!”

Xiaosheng shouted, Eelektross raised its upper body slightly in mid-air, then lunged forward as if accelerating the ghostly violet acid!

Pah-pah-pah-pah!

The corrosive acid, seeming to erode even the air, flew swiftly and broadly towards Porygon II, likely making it hard to fully dodge.

But there was no need to dodge.

Baimu directed, ”Texture 2.”

”Pah-a-li-li!”

Porygon II emitted a trembling electric sound while altering its Attribute.

Under the watchful eyes of Xiaoyao and Xiaosheng, its surface color transformed to a light silver alloy-like appearance, including its eyes which shifted to a metallic hue, turning it into a steel-forged iron duck.

The Acid Bomb poured over Porygon II’s body, simply flowing smoothly onto the grass below, corroding the slightly yellowing weeds and ground.

”No effect? Why? Did it turn into Steel Attribute?”

Xiaosheng, after all, wasn’t foolish, especially with Porygon II’s evident external changes.

He frowned, aware that he had unravelled a small secret about the opponent.
