Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

In Oil City, it is very necessary to store more fuel.

So he opened his mouth and said: ”Fifty tons is too little. Increasing too much wouldn’t be appropriate either. Let’s do this: your trading limit this time is eighty tons. You need to prepare to seal the remaining hundreds of tons of fuel, ensuring if it rains, it won’t get soaked.”

Ju Tianrui replied, ”Understood, the fuel has been sealed well. We’ve specifically vacated a building now to store fuel, and the tanks built earlier should be very sturdy.

By the way, City Lord, if they ask about the next trading time, how should I respond?”

Next time?

In eleven days, the natural disaster is expected to arrive.

Trade with them a second time in four days, and after that, what’s the point of trading anymore?

If we continue trading weekly like this, the next trade might occur amidst a heavy rainstorm.

A continuous downpour, what will Chen Er’s group do?

Oil City definitely can’t let all of them in, then they’ll be left to die.

Thinking of this, Li Yu said, ”Let’s tentatively put it at a month later. If any special circumstances occur, like rain, then just delay accordingly.”

What Li Yu said made sense.

No one can predict weather changes.

Ju Tianrui understood Li Yu’s thought and replied, ”Understood, I’ll try to negotiate an exchange ratio of one to two with them at that time.”

”Yes, one to three, one to four is okay too. Just do your best.”

Then, Li Yu thought about Ma Sailong’s work on maintaining the oil wells and casually asked.

Ju Tianrui explained the repair situation at the oil wells to Li Yu.

Still needs six days?

Learning it still needed six days, Li Yu wasn’t surprised.

The timing is still manageable.

”Let them speed up as much as possible. Ensure proper protection!” Li Yu spoke.

He only remembered it was at the end of this month, plus or minus a day or two.

So leaving a few days buffer is somewhat more secure.

”Okay, I’ll keep an eye on it. By the way, Director Li, thanks to He Bing’s practical teaching, today’s mobile switch blade installation progressed very fast. He Bing says it’ll be fully installed in a maximum of five days.” Ju Tianrui stated.

”Great, encourage him.” Li Yu’s face showed satisfaction.

After that, they talked about some matters concerning Oil City, Li Yu also inquired about some preparations he had instructed a few days ago in Oil City.

These preparations mostly seemed inexplicable.

Ju Tianrui dared not disobey and carried them out honestly.

Unexpectedly, doing them was correct, just a few days later, Director Li came to ask again.

If he hadn’t done them honestly, it would be hard to explain.

...

”Don’t store oil and diesel generators in one place; I emphasized this risk avoidance to you before. Also, how is Xiao Jun’s preparation going? After you finish trading with Southern Paradise, have him lead the fleet back.” Li Yu reminded.

”Yes, yes, everything’s according to your instructions, please rest assured.

As for Xiao Jun, he’s already loaded the oil into vehicles and just waiting to return once the second trade with Southern Paradise concludes.”

”Good.”

......

Li Yu put down the military radio headset, exhaled deeply.

Thinking internally, with so much preparation, surely they could endure this bout of successive natural disasters.

It has been over half a year without terrifying natural disasters, as if nature was giving weak humans a breather, so those who consider themselves masters of all creatures wouldn’t become extinct.

Despite no natural disasters during this period, that doesn’t mean there are no risks in this Doomsday; zombies are still everywhere.

The number of zombies is extremely terrifying, not to mention some zombies have undergone changes.

Min Province.

Many hills.

Lanxi.

Less than a hundred kilometers from the ocean.

The previous violent typhoon blew down some nuclear power plants, some zombies near the nuclear power stations became nuclear radiation zombies due to radiation.

After contact, limbs rot, organs fail.

As Song Yile just rushed down from the ground, he heard his father say:

”No, it’s not like we lack food, we can’t leave!”

As soon as he finished, he heard his mother say, ”The zombies affected by nuclear radiation have been appearing more frequently lately, they’re different from the ones in the past, staying here, if those radiation-infected zombies gather around our doorway, what if we get radiated?”

”Foolish, there are two doors in between, how could we possibly get radiated? They’re idiots, are you one too?”

Mother said again: ”Lately, Yile often sneaks out, our daughter stays in her room not coming out, your temper is also getting worse.

I feel that staying in this dark bunker all the time, we’ll eventually suffocate and get sick; I’ve also been inexplicably feeling depressed recently, sometimes I’m even so sad I want to end it all....”

As mother spoke, her voice became somber, sobbing as she spoke.

Bam!

Table flipped!

Prowling by the side of the descending stairs, Song Yile sneakily peeked inside.

Only to see his father flipping the table, pointing at his mother’s nose and cursing:

”That’s because you’re too weak; they’re afraid of those irradiated zombies and want to move west, let them go! Utter foolishness!

We’ve survived until now because we built these bunkers; haven’t gone out for two to three years, do you know what changes the outside world has undergone?”
