Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

The next day.

With the addition of He Bing, Zhou Ran, and others, the speed of installing the mobile switch blade rapidly increased with their help.

”Luckily you’re here, otherwise we would have spent extra time figuring it out ourselves,” Ju Tianrui said with a smile, seeing quite a few switch blades installed in just one morning.

He Bing put down the item in his hand and said, ”Actually, it’s not difficult. Once you understand the principles inside, it’s simple. Look at this circuit...”

Hearing He Bing speak in terms he couldn’t understand, Ju Tianrui felt a slight headache and pulled over a team member, saying, ”Listen carefully, listen more; once knowledge is learned, it belongs to you. Follow Engineer He well.”

”Engineer He, I’ll go to the oil well and take a look. You stay busy, carry on with your work.”

After saying that, he patted the team member he had pulled over, whose expression showed helplessness. They were just regular soldiers, really not capable of dealing with such high-tech stuff.

But there was no choice, Ju Tianrui had already given the order, so he had to comply, learning while assisting with operations.

Ju Tianrui arrived at the oil well area, seeing a mess around the oil well, and even a frame was built above the well.

Seeing Zuo Ruxue standing beside the oil well, Ju Tianrui asked, ”How’s the maintenance going? How much longer before it’s done?”

Zuo Ruxue wiped the sweat off her forehead, organized some repair tools, and answered, ”It’s still early, Ma Sailong says it will take six more days. It’s already fast, but meeting Director Li’s standards really requires some effort.”

”Alright, be careful about safety and don’t fall down,” Ju Tianrui nodded and reminded.

”Understood, we’ll all be tied with ropes.”

Ju Tianrui then returned to the meeting room, thinking that in about three or four days, the people from Southern Paradise would come.

At that time, Director Li wanted to exchange salt and sugar with Southern Paradise, but the exchange ratio hadn’t been determined. Next time, the people from Southern Paradise might very well bring salt and sugar for the exchange.

However, Director Li left in a hurry and didn’t clearly explain how this exchange ratio works.

It’s impossible to ask Director Li to make another trip for the next exchange with Southern Paradise.

After thinking for a long time, he simply sat in front of the military radio, contacting Big Camphor Tree Base.

At this time at Big Camphor Tree Base, Li Yu was close to the wall of the Fourth Outer City, seeing that the traces left by bodies yesterday had been cleared.

The construction work of the Fourth Outer City resumed, although it was slower without the help of those protesters.

But as the largest outer city in the base, the construction workload was huge and couldn’t be finished quickly.

In a few days, natural disasters would break out, and it was obviously impossible to finish the construction before that, so Li Yu also relaxed, building whatever could be built before the calamity.

But before the natural disaster arrives, some machines inside, like cranes, surely need to be relocated.

”City Lord, Ju Tianrui from Oil City has something to discuss with you,” Lao Xie walked over and said.

”Oh? Okay.” Li Yu nodded, hung the telescope around his neck, and walked toward the gate duty room.

Soon, Li Yu was in the duty room.

”I’m Li Yu.”

”City Lord, I have a question for you. Didn’t you mention last time that you wanted to negotiate other material exchanges with Southern Paradise?

Although last time Chen Er said the sugar and salt exchange needs to be discussed with their leader, I think, in case next time they bring sugar and salt over, what exchange ratio should we use for the transaction?

The day is coming in a few days.”

Li Yu had too many things to handle lately and almost forgot this matter.

After thinking for a while, the current exchange of pharmaceuticals and oil, pharmaceuticals being light in weight and small in size, should be at a 1:6 exchange ratio.

for pharmaceuticals, 6 for fuel.

Salt and sugar obviously weigh more.

Cannot be like pharmaceuticals, using a 1:6 exchange ratio.

After thinking, he said, ”Then try to discuss, talk to him, the worst scenario should be four tons of fuel for one ton of salt or sugar; at best, one ton of fuel for one ton of salt, and Oil City can refine oil, separating it into gasoline and diesel, right?

I guess they can’t refine either.

Negotiate with this, using refined diesel or gasoline, aim for a 1:2 ratio.”

Having understood these points, Ju Tianrui had a grasp in mind.

Then he asked, ”City Lord, you said last time, each fuel exchange shouldn’t exceed 50 tons. Is it the same this time?”

Li Yu then asked, ”How much reserve does Oil City have right now?”

”One thousand one hundred sixty tons,” Ju Tianrui replied.

Ju Tianrui continued, ”However, this time Xiao Jun wants to take about over 600 tons back to Big Camphor Tree Base, and some need to remain for use in Oil City. Currently, the oil well is under maintenance, temporarily unable to produce oil.”

Li Yu thought, imagining the upcoming natural disaster being continuous; Oil City’s core advantage is having oil, using gasoline to resist zombies.

To drive the mobile switch blade, diesel is needed.

Oil City’s power supply, lighting, and other needs all require fuel.

Xiao Jun plans to transport more than half of the oil back to the base, and with the current maintenance of Oil City, production can only resume days before the disaster strikes.
