Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Once the helicopter landed and stabilized.

Tap tap—

Li Yu stepped out of the helicopter.

”Director Li.”

”Hello, Director Li.”

The crowd said in unison.

Li Yu waved his hand and casually surveyed Oil City.

While observing from above, he had already noticed some changes in Oil City.

The perimeter walls have become higher, everything within the walls is organized neatly, and even the peeling paint on the building walls has been cleaned.

In short, one word: clean and tidy!

It has been almost two months since the last visit.

The changes in Oil City over these two months are indeed significant.

Li Yu nodded in satisfaction and slowly walked over to Xiao Jun and others, asking:

”On the way flying over, I saw the convoy outside. Those are the people from Southern Paradise, right?”

Xiao Jun quickly responded, ”Yes, they’ve already been waiting outside for over forty minutes.”

”Have they not come to ask, just kept waiting there?” Li Yu asked curiously.

”Yes, they’re just waiting there. I didn’t proactively ask.”

Li Yu nodded and then said to Xiao Jun and the others:

”Alright, let’s head to the conference room for a brief meeting.”

Everyone walked together towards the conference room.

Behind Li Yu, the brothers Li Tie and Li Gang followed him closely, never leaving his side.

Conference Room.

Li Yu naturally took the seat at the head of the table.

”Let’s talk about the recent status of Oil City.”

Xiao Jun was the first to stand up and begin speaking:

”In the past two months, we have increased the height of the walls by three meters, reaching fifteen meters high.

Additionally, after the recent torrential rains and floods, some survivors have come seeking tasks outside...

Regarding oil drilling, Zuo Ruxue is most knowledgeable, let her report next.”

Upon hearing this, Zuo Ruxue promptly stood up and said:

”Currently, Oil City’s oil production capacity is double that of before, reaching fifteen tons per day, and a new refinery has been established in the city.

The total amount of oil stored in Oil City has reached one thousand tons, but issues with storage tanks urgently need to be addressed.

Although we’ve recently built some oil storage facilities, the oil storage requirements are quite high. Some of the oil storage facilities are experiencing leakage issues, and most importantly, we lack sufficient space for oil storage.

....”

Li Yu pondered for a moment and said:

”This issue isn’t too problematic. This time I brought Ju Tianrui and his team over; they can help you clear at least half of the oil and take it back to the Big Camphor Tree Base.

As for the oil storage issue, I will consult with experts at the base on this matter and send them over to help solve this problem.”

Xiao Jun and Zuo Ruxue both nodded; since they aren’t professionals, having an expert from the base would save them from having to figure it out themselves.

”Next, let’s discuss the Southern Paradise’s situation.” Li Yu glanced at them and continued:

”Currently, Oil City is producing more oil than our Big Camphor Tree Base can fully consume, with half of the transported oil being stored.

My idea is, since Southern Paradise wants to implement mutual exchange, we could give it a try with them.

Initially set a monthly exchange quota of fifty tons, requiring them to prepare their own barrels, and conduct exchanges outside the city.

.....”

Everyone was noting the key points mentioned by Li Yu.

Li Yu proceeded to provide his opinions on some other recent matters concerning Oil City.

Before long, it was already 11:40 AM.

Li Yu looked at his watch and said: ”Isn’t it almost time to negotiate with Southern Paradise?”

Xiao Jun, who had been keeping an eye on the time, quickly nodded and said: ”Yes, Director Li, are you going to negotiate directly, or should I do it?....”

After all, with Li Yu present, there seemed no need for him to go and talk with Chen Er.

However, Chen Er is merely a high-ranking official in Southern Paradise, not someone who can represent its leader.

If Director Li wants to raise the profile, having Xiao Jun negotiate with Chen Er would be reasonable.

But, Li Yu shook his head and said:

”It’s fine, you can discuss the details of the material exchange with him, but I also want to meet with him briefly, to discuss some matters.”

Hmm?

Xiao Jun was confused, unsure of what else Director Li wanted to discuss with Chen Er.

Despite his confusion, he nodded and said: ”Okay.”

Soon.

They ascended the perimeter wall.

Below the wall, Chen Er drove a vehicle to a spot dozens of meters from Oil City.
