Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Of course, they don’t know this, nor would they question where the electricity comes from, after all, they don’t have the concept.

But experts like Zhang Qiwu can simply estimate based on electricity consumption to calculate the daily necessary energy consumption.

Li Yu naturally wouldn’t tell him about the Zombie Generator, the truly green and pollution-free energy.

This Zhang Qiwu proposed shutting down the equipment in the greenhouse and then reducing food production to save energy.

This not only doesn’t make him seem incompetent, but on the contrary, it proves that he indeed has some ideas.

Otherwise, how could an average person think of these things?

But nowadays in the base, there’s no issue of insufficient electricity, on the contrary, both the Zombie Generator and solar power perfectly solve the base’s electricity problem.

In fact, there’s quite a surplus of electricity every day.

So after thinking it over, he said:

”Elder Zhang, regarding your point, I know about it too, but you can rest easy about the electricity issue; I’m the one who asked An Ya to turn on the equipment. Electricity is important, but food is even more important. Just focus on researching how to increase food production.”

”But, but, this is not sustainable...” Elder Zhang was a bit frustrated, his brow furrowed tightly.

”Don’t worry, we have solutions, we will surely solve this issue. Just concentrate on researching food cultivation...” Li Yu patiently repeated.

Seeing Li Yu so stubborn and hearing him speak to this extent.

Elder Zhang couldn’t understand how exactly the electricity issue was resolved.

However, Elder Zhang was embarrassed to ask further, asking more would be somewhat impolite.

So he sighed and said, ”Alright, I’ll listen to you, I’ll just focus on researching food cultivation.”

”By the way, Wang Yin and others are looking to delve deeper into the base’s chemical research, but Director Bai said to wait a bit, this is.....”

Li Yu thought for a moment and said:

”Alright, don’t worry, I’ll arrange this, I’ll talk to them.”

Now, these over twenty experts from chemistry, physics, and agriculture, have all been involved in specific base affairs, but not that deeply.

There was a rebellion recently, making Li Yu more cautious.

Good things take time, no need to rush.

Once capable people come in, they shouldn’t expect to run away.

But before truly utilizing them, they must be assessed for a period to at least ensure they’re reliable.

Once bitten by a snake, you’re cautious of ropes for ten years.

Coming from the same Southwest place, Li Yu’s caution was somewhat aggravated by those rebellious people.

After reassuring Elder Zhang and the others, Li Yu had Li Tie take the helicopter to the Second Outer City.

Just returned to the Second Outer City, and Second Uncle came over.

”Xiao Yu, about the promotion list I gave you earlier, what have you decided? It’s been quite some time since you returned from the Big Camphor Tree Base. Those that needed assessment should be mostly done, from my side they’re basically ready, just waiting for your opinion.

What’s your thought?”

Li Yu recalled, thinking of the promotion list given to him a few days ago.

Indeed, it can’t be delayed any longer.

If delayed further, a natural disaster would soon arrive.

At that time, everyone will be busy again, and it will be delayed again, several months would go by.

Thinking of those names on the promotion list, Li Yu said, ”I have no objections, let’s make it tomorrow, have them come to the base here for promotion.”

”Alright.” Second Uncle nodded in response to Li Yu’s reply.
