Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Chapter 34: Chapter 34: The 3rd Evolution Begins

Chu Sheng’s mind was furiously running calculations.

’If the Empress can absorb it, why can’t I?’

’Those are cubs with a High-Level Bloodline! One sip from them would be better than draining an entire pig!’

’With these three little lions as my personal blood banks, plus the essence from the Eighth-Grade Lioness’s blood I brought back, I might have enough for my fourth evolution!’

’After I evolve, my power will definitely skyrocket! I might even reach the Peak of First-Grade!’

’By then, with the two of us—one human, one mosquito—working together, passing the transfer assessment in five days, let alone a week, will be a piece of cake!’

…

Jingzhe Guild.

Liu Kun reported the situation at the school to Leng Yan in full detail.

“One week? Transferring to Du Nan First Middle School?”

After listening, a layer of frost seemed to cover Leng Yan’s already frigidly beautiful face.

“Good, very good! Then let her live for one more week!”

The killing intent in her heart was boiling over.

This time, she had not only lost a Fifth-Grade Gale Demon Leopard, but even her main combat Contracted Beast, the Ice Soul Qilin, had been gravely injured while besieged by the beast tide. It would take at least half a year to recover.

The entire Shadow Fang Squad had suffered heavy casualties.

And it was all because of that student named Gu Yuexi!!

“And… that mosquito!”

Leng Yan closed her eyes, her powerful Mental Power rapidly replaying every detail of the battlefield in her mind.

She was a Seventh-Grade Beast Tamer, and her Mental Power far surpassed that of Martial Artists of the same grade.

Amid the chaos of battle, she had vaguely sensed that something was amiss.

The sudden beast tide had been far too focused, almost as if it had been deliberately guided.

And the insect swarm that ultimately led to her Gale Demon Leopard being surrounded and killed was especially bizarre.

Now, calming her mind and replaying the events, she immediately pinpointed the key detail!

Within that overwhelming insect swarm, an extremely faint, yet highly unified mental command had been circulating!

That control over the swarm, though nascent, was undeniably real! It was just like a Beast Tamer commanding their own Contracted Beast!

And though the source of this mental command was perfectly hidden, a trace of its residual fluctuations matched the spiritual signature she had perceived from Gu Yuexi’s Contracted Beast. They were from the same source!

“So that’s how it is…”

Leng Yan’s eyes snapped open, a trace of horror and shock flashing through them.

“That mosquito is not an ordinary Alien Species! It has the ability to control insect swarms!”

No wonder! No wonder it could trigger a beast tide! It must have used a similar method, spreading the scent of the Azure Flame Flying Lion’s blood to every corner of the forest through countless insects!

This wasn’t luck! This was a deliberate and meticulous plot!

What terrifying cunning! What a bizarre ability!

“A little girl at the First-Grade Middle Stage, and a mutated mosquito that’s only First-Grade… managed to run circles around me?”

Leng Yan laughed from sheer rage, but the killing intent in her heart toward Gu Yuexi and Chu Sheng rose to an unprecedented level.

That girl must not be allowed to live!

That mosquito must also die!

“In one week… I’ll make them wish they could die, but be unable to!”

…

Meanwhile, news of Gu Yuexi’s application to transfer to Du Nan First Middle School spread like wildfire throughout Jiang City Lingwu High School.

For a moment, everyone who heard the news was completely dumbfounded.

“I didn’t hear that wrong, did I? The School Beauty who contracted a mosquito wants to transfer to Du Nan First Middle School?”

“Has she gone crazy? Where does she get the confidence?”

“The shock must have been too much for her; she’s lost her mind. What a pity, she’s so pretty…”

At the same time, news of Chen Hao and his lackeys’ disappearance began to circulate around the school as well.

But no one would connect this matter to Gu Yuexi.

In everyone’s eyes, she was still just a pretty face stuck at the First-Grade Early Stage. They simply thought Gu Yuexi had lost her mind, never imagining the shocking truth hidden beneath the surface.

After leaving the principal’s office, Gu Yuexi didn’t return to her classroom but went straight to the academic affairs office to try and apply for a dorm room.

The result was predictable. When she submitted her application, the teacher in charge merely shot her a cold glance and rejected her outright with the flimsy excuse that “all dorms are full.”

Clearly, the school had no intention of offering her any further assistance.

Gu Yuexi had already expected this.

Without another word, she pulled out her phone, spent a few dozen yuan, and ordered the cheapest one-person tent she could find.

Once she got the tent, she brazenly found a corner of the athletic field and pitched it, setting up camp under the watchful eyes of countless students who looked at her as if she were insane.

Besides, there was no school rule against students pitching tents on campus. She would live here, and there was nothing anyone could do about it!

Slipping into the cramped tent, finally shielded from all the outside stares and whispers, Gu Yuexi had time to deal with the biggest prize from her recent excursion.

She opened the Beast Taming Pouch and let out the three fluffy little lion cubs.

However, when she saw their condition, her brow furrowed slightly.

She saw that one of the cubs, the smallest and weakest one, was no longer breathing. There were several clear teeth marks on its neck.

Of the other two, one was noticeably more robust, and it was aggressively shoving its slightly weaker sibling aside.

She had almost forgotten.

Cubs of a top predator like the Azure Flame Flying Lion would fight amongst themselves from the moment they were born, competing for their mother’s milk and other resources needed to survive.

Natural selection, survival of the fittest.

The strongest cub will mercilessly kill its own weaker siblings.

Gu Yuexi watched this scene, a flicker of resolve in her eyes.

’Since that’s the case… then let this natural law run its course completely.’

’I was already planning to kill one or two to absorb their Essence Blood and break through to the Peak of First-Grade within the week. Looks like I don’t even have to choose now.’

’I’ll keep the strongest one and nurture it carefully.’

’As for the other two… they’ll become the fuel for my growth!’

“BUZZZ! (Makes sense! The Empress is brilliant! Quick, let me have a couple of sips!)”

Nearby, Chu Sheng was practically drooling as he stared at the two “top-grade little blood bags.”

However, just as he was about to pounce, he suddenly remembered something.

’Wait…’

’It seems… it’s time to evolve!’

Chu Sheng glanced at his panel.

[Notification: Third evolution can be initiated! Requires 10 Evolution Points. Estimated evolution time: 10 hours!]

’I’m finally back at school and safe for now, with the Empress standing guard. The conditions are perfect!’

’This is the perfect time to evolve!’

’System, initiate evolution!’

Chu Sheng issued the command in his mind without a moment’s hesitation!
