Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: The Grand Empress, Reborn, Bound to a Mosquito in Life and Death?

“A mosquito… I actually signed a Blood Covenant with a mosquito…”

Gu Yuexi collapsed onto the ground, utterly dejected. Her eyes were vacant, and her delicate, beautiful face was ashen with despair.

’It’s over!’

’It’s all over!’

’I, the magnificent Beast Taming Empress, have been reborn! I was supposed to have a perfect start, crush all the other prodigies, and return to my peak at the fastest possible speed!’

’But now?’

’My first Contracted Beast is actually a mosquito!’

’How the hell am I supposed to play this?!’

’This isn’t just a hell-mode start. This is like my account got deleted with no chance to start over!’

The thought that her future career as a Beast Tamer would be forever bound to a mosquito made Gu Yuexi’s world spin, and she nearly fainted on the spot.

Despair, a despair like nothing she had ever known, enveloped her.

Even in her past life, at the moment her tribulation failed and her Divine Soul was obliterated, she had never felt this helpless!

Chu Sheng: “…”

’Alright, alright, alright. Shattering the Reborn Empress’s composure right from the start.’

’Who said mosquitoes were useless?’

However, after having a breakdown for a good ten minutes or so, a glimmer of light gradually rekindled in Gu Yuexi’s vacant eyes.

’No!’

’I can’t give up!’

’I am Gu Yuexi! The Beast Taming Empress who once reached the Emperor Realm!’

’Even if the heavens want me dead, I will defy them!’

’How can a mere mosquito stand in the way of my return to the peak?!’

“Hooo…”

Gu Yuexi took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down as her mind raced.

’My path as a Beast Tamer is completely ruined, at least until I reach Fifth-Grade.’

’And as for the Martial Dao, I have absolutely no talent…’

’In that case…’

’There’s only one path left!’

Gu Yuexi’s eyes suddenly became incredibly determined, even tinged with a hint of madness and resolve!

“Ten Thousand Beasts Melting Furnace Technique!”

She recalled a Forbidden Evil Technique!

This Cultivation Technique was extremely domineering and dangerous, and its method of Cultivation was even more horrifying—it involved using a Secret Technique to absorb and fuse with the Essence Blood of powerful Demon Beasts, thereby plundering their power and talents for one’s own use!

But the price was immense!

During the process of fusing with the Demon Beast Essence Blood, the Cultivator would endure unimaginable pain.

Furthermore, they were highly likely to be influenced by the violent will within the Demon Beast’s Bloodline, gradually undergoing “Beastification” until they completely lost their sanity and devolved into a mindless beast that only knew how to kill!

If there had been any other glimmer of hope, Gu Yuexi would never have chosen such a depraved and unorthodox path!

But now…

’Poor Martial Arts Talent, and my path as a Beast Tamer is blocked…’

’Do I have any other choice?’

A miserable smile touched the corners of Gu Yuexi’s lips.

Chu Sheng, who was resting on her leg and digesting the blood, heard her thoughts as clear as day through their Spiritual Link.

’Holy cow!’

Chu Sheng was blown away.

’So we both get stronger by sucking blood, huh?’

’We really are a match made in heaven!’

Chu Sheng clicked his tongue in amazement. He had to admire the girl’s fortitude; she was the Reborn Empress, after all.

’Anyone else facing this kind of start would probably be crying and begging for a do-over, but she found a new path so quickly.’

Just then, Gu Yuexi’s gaze suddenly fell upon him, her expression extremely complicated.

There was hatred, helplessness, and a hint of… killing intent?

’What the fuck?’

Chu Sheng jumped in fright. ’Hey, lady, don’t do anything crazy!’

’Once a Blood Covenant is signed, the Contracted Beast and master share life and death until a second Demon Beast is contracted…’ Gu Yuexi grit her teeth, silently reciting the rules of the Blood Covenant in her mind. The flicker of killing intent that had just risen in her vanished instantly.

That’s right. She couldn’t kill this mosquito now.

If she killed it, she would die along with it!

Not only could she not kill it, but she also had to find a way to protect this ridiculously weak mosquito!

At the very least, she had to protect it until she could contract a second Demon Beast!

At this thought, Gu Yuexi felt her chest tighten, and she almost coughed up another mouthful of old blood.

’I, a magnificent Empress, am now reduced to being a mosquito’s bodyguard?!’

’Is there anything more humiliating than this?!’

Meanwhile, Chu Sheng was delighted when he heard her inner thoughts about protecting him.

’Oh, perfect!’

’I just got an Empress as a bodyguard for free. Doesn’t this mean I can do whatever I want from now on?’

’You’ll be in charge of slaughtering everyone, and I’ll be on the sidelines, sucking blood and cheering you on?’

’Life is good!’

“You’d better behave! Don’t fly around recklessly. If you die, I won’t let you off even as a ghost!” Gu Yuexi stared daggers at the mosquito resting on her thigh, threatening it coldly.

But Chu Sheng had no time to pay attention to her right now.

Just a moment ago, the system’s voice had sounded in his mind again—

[Ding! Blood digestion complete. Evolution Points +0.1!]

Chu Sheng immediately felt his round, full abdomen flatten, and he was a bit surprised.

’I just drank my fill less than half an hour ago. It’s already digested?’

’A mosquito’s digestive system can’t be this strong, can it?’

Chu Sheng remembered clearly from his past life that when he got bitten by a mosquito at night, its belly would still be round and full when he found it the next day.

’How could it digest so fast?’

’Did the system enhance my digestive abilities?’

But Chu Sheng couldn’t be bothered to overthink it. It wasn’t a bad thing, anyway. With his digestion speed greatly increased, his efficiency at obtaining Qi Blood and Evolution Points was maxed out!

’I just need my Qi Blood Value to reach 1 to undergo my first evolution…’

’I thought it would take several days, but now it looks like one day will be enough!’

’The most crucial part is!’

’I now have a safe, permanent blood bag, so I don’t have to risk my life searching for people to suck blood from!’

The more Chu Sheng thought about it, the more delighted he became. He once again controlled his proboscis, making it thicker and harder, and plunged it into that fair white thigh!

“Hm?!”

Gu Yuexi was recalling the detailed cultivation methods of the *Ten Thousand Beasts Melting Furnace Technique* when she suddenly felt an itch on her leg and reflexively raised her hand to slap it.

But she stopped herself. Her hand froze in midair, five centimeters from her thigh.

Staring at the mosquito that was sucking her blood again.

Gu Yuexi’s eye twitched, and her expression darkened.

’Didn’t it just finish sucking my blood?!’

’Why is it starting again?’

’AAAAAH! This is so annoying!!’

Gu Yuexi’s emotions, which she had just managed to stabilize, were on the verge of collapsing again.

She had to watch helplessly as the mosquito that had ruined her future sucked her blood, and she couldn’t even swat it!

What could possibly be more humiliating than this?

Not only that…

After her brief breakdown, Gu Yuexi actually grit her teeth and circulated her Martial Arts Technique, forcing what little Qi Blood Power she had toward her thigh so the mosquito could feed on it!

A Martial Artist’s Qi Blood has many effects, one of which is extending one’s Lifespan… This is why Demon Beasts love to eat Martial Artists alive.

Gu Yuexi knew that a mosquito’s Lifespan is extremely short.

It wouldn’t exceed half a month at most!

With the Blood Covenant binding them to share life and death, if she didn’t help this mosquito extend its Lifespan, she wouldn’t live past half a month either!!

After having her future ruined by a mosquito, not only could she not kill it, but she also had to proactively offer it her blood and Qi Blood…

“Damn it, damn it all…”

Gu Yuexi clenched her jaw, so aggrieved she was on the verge of tears!
