Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 246: Chapter 246 Inexpressible Deep Love [3]

The servant stepped forward to stop him, ”Young Master Dawn, Miss is fast asleep in your car. It’s not good to wake her, nor can you walk back. How about you drive Miss’s car back from the garage?”

His gaze swept inside the car, right there, inside his car, was the person he liked, yet someone he could never have.

He pressed his lips together, shook his head gently, saying, ”No, Daisy is my future sister-in-law. Driving her car back wouldn’t be good for either of us. Idle gossip is the most hurtful. I’ll walk. Please don’t wake her, she rarely manages to sleep.”

It was unclear if these words were meant for the servant to hear, or for himself. Regardless, after speaking them, his heart felt unbearably bitter.

He was the illegitimate child of the Sutherland family, she was to be his future sister-in-law, betrothed to the Sutherland’s eldest son, Aidan, since childhood.

Ha, what a painful fate, his love and affection doomed to be buried in his heart forever.

Who’d have thought he’d barely walked a bit when he heard her breathless calling from behind, and the word ’Second Brother’ instantly reverberated through his heart.

He did not turn back, stood there, body trembling slightly.

This term, ’Second Brother’, he hadn’t heard it in such a long time.

Ever since she went abroad, no one had flashed a bright smile and sweetly called him ’Second Brother’. Until now, only she had ever called him that.

”Second Brother.” Daisy ran in front of him, her cheeks flushed, each hurried breath releasing a fragrance that sent a flutter through his heart.

He remained silent, eyes shimmering subtly.

Soon enough, he saw slender, pale fingers waving before his eyes, calling out twice more, ”Second Brother! Second Brother!”

Her fingers unintentionally brushed his nose tip, a hint of fragrance lingered, spreading unease within his heart.

He shivered, stepped back deliberately to feign indifference, and said lightly, ”Since you’re awake, I’ll drive the car back. You should rest early.” With that, he turned around and walked back to start the car parked in the Grant family’s garage.

He feared if he looked at her one more time, he would truly sink. He would fall into her bright and pure eyes.

Daisy Grant is like poison, a poison that pulls him with every move the moment he approaches.

If he keeps sinking, sooner or later he would be poisoned to death.

She’s your destined sister-in-law!! Dawn, could you actually covet your own sister-in-law?!

He clenched the hands hanging at his sides, walked back, started his car, and sped off without daring to look at her...

-

Dawn was lost in his memories when suddenly, his phone rang, interrupting his thoughts.

He picked up the phone, and upon seeing the name ’Daisy’ displayed, his eyes deepened. Pressing the answer key, he put the phone to his ear, calming his racing heart, and casually asked, ”Daisy, what’s up?”

”Second Brother, my car broke down, what should I do?” Her voice sounded somewhat anxious from the other end of the phone.

Dawn pressed his lips together, immediately started his car and drove towards the Grant family villa, reassuring her over the phone, ”Daisy, don’t worry, I’m on my way. Stay in the car and wait for me. It’s late, don’t get out, lock the doors, stay safe!”

Upon hearing Daisy’s response, Dawn accelerated, pressing the pedal to the floor.

It only took Dawn ten minutes to reach the place where Daisy’s car broke down.

Sitting inside the car, Daisy saw Dawn’s familiar license plate number in the rearview mirror, immediately unlocked the car, opened the door and got out.

Dawn also got out of the car.

”Second Brother,” Daisy stepped forward, her face showing urgency.

”Let me take a look for you.”

Dawn lifted the car hood to check the condition.

After ten minutes, he sighed and said to Daisy, ”We’ll have to call someone to fix it. Let me take you home first, I’ll get someone to repair the car for you.”
