Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 231: Chapter 231 Can We Start Over Again? [2]

But Arlo was above, and he was her only chance for rescue. If she didn’t make an effort, she would really die in this ravine.

Finally, she stood up, leaning against the muddy soil and rocks of the landslide, standing in the pouring rain, responding with all her might to the shouts coming from above.

”Arlo... Arlo Seys! I’m here! Cough, cough... Arlo Seys...”

She tilted her head up and shouted upwards, but rainwater choked her throat, causing her to cough violently, her voice somewhat hoarse and weak.

Ariel Morris wiped the rain off her face, her eyes urgent and red, ”Arlo Seys! ...Arlo...! Arlo...”

Above, Arlo Seys was anxiously searching for Ariel Morris when he seemed to hear her faint response. He walked towards the steep slope and looked down.

At this moment, Ariel Morris below had no energy left to call for help. She slid down and sat slowly, biting her lips anxiously, sobbing. The pain in her legs was nothing compared to the ache in her heart.

How could she call for help in this state? How could she let Arlo Seys know she was down here? She really didn’t have any strength left! Knowing Arlo was right above her, yet she had no strength to call for help, how could she be so useless?!

Ariel slid down to sit, feeling desperate, when her fingers touched a small rock. She picked it up, and a sudden idea flashed through her mind.

She quickly picked up an egg-sized rock, pulled off a piece of her skirt with force, wrapped it around the rock, and then once again stood up slowly, enduring the pain.

Ariel Morris, this is your last chance. If Arlo doesn’t find you down here, it’s a dead end!

The instinct to survive triggered her potential once more. Ariel Morris leaned against the slope, holding the rock in her hand, and threw it upwards with all her might...

God, I’ve never asked you for anything. This time, I just pray Arlo Seys sees my signal for help!

Arlo Seys was looking carefully down to the bottom of the landslide, searching meticulously for that figure.

No! Still nothing!

He had searched for hours without the slightest clue!

Arlo Seys’s pupils tightened, his gaze dark and deep.

Ariel Morris, where exactly are you?! As long as you come out, as long as you appear in front of me, I’ll give you my life, okay?

I let you trample over me, can you just stop playing this disappearing game! I can’t fucking take it!!

I admit defeat, as long as you appear, I surrender everything, consider this me begging you, would you respond to me? Please?!

Arlo Seys’s face was pale, his body turning from burning hot to ice cold, his head feeling dizzy, even his steps a bit unsteady.

Just as he was about to turn away with difficulty, something white suddenly appeared at the bottom of the slope. Before he could see clearly what it was, it disappeared in a blink of an eye.

Arlo Seys stared down to the bottom of the steep slope, his gaze darkening.

Was that thing just now Ariel Morris’s signal for help? Was she at the bottom of the slope? If not, how would he get back up if he slid down? If she was, why wouldn’t she make a sound? Could she have had an accident, or been injured and unable to call for help?

Had she been in the rain for so long, was she all right?

To risk it or not?

Arlo Seys looked at the deep slope, pondered for a few seconds, then quickly took off his jacket to tie it to a tree beside him.

Dawn and Nico should have arrived too. If something happened to him, if he went missing in the mountains, the Seys Family would surely do everything they could to organize a rescue!

Then he would use his disappearance to pressure the Seys Family to push the police, enabling rescue teams to be deployed immediately. The chances of finding Ariel Morris would increase significantly with search and rescue teams! So he would let the Seys Family take action by going missing himself!

Though the thought felt somewhat vile, as long as it benefited Ariel Morris, it didn’t matter!

With this in mind, Arlo Seys gazed firmly at the bottom of the steep slope and swiftly slid down...
