Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 221: Chapter 221: Things Will Pass

Dawn Sutherland picked up a cushion from the sofa and threw it, ”Third Haynes, your mouth really needs a beating!”

Next to him, Arlo Seys looked at Dawn, pursed his thin lips, and then spoke lightly, ”Dawn, this time when Daisy Grant returns, she should be getting engaged and married to Aidan Sutherland, right? After all, they’re at the right age for marriage. The alliance between the Grant and Sutherland families would greatly benefit both businesses. The elders from both sides should quickly finalize this matter.”

Dawn’s hand paused for a moment, then slowly retracted, resting on his leg. His expression was calm and unruffled, ”Mm, this time she’s back, they should be getting engaged and married.”

”Aidan Sutherland is truly a winner in life!” Nico Haynes exclaimed.

Marrying the top socialite of City C, what else would make him a winner?

Dawn glanced at Nico Haynes who was marveling, ”You’ve said that many times. If you’re jealous, you should quickly marry someone too, so Aunt Haynes can have a grandchild soon.”

”Only a fool would rush into the grave of marriage! My mantra is to pass through a sea of flowers, unfazed by any single petal.”

Dawn chuckled softly, ”Sooner or later, you’ll be tripped up by one of those flowers!”

Nico Haynes threw the cushion back, ”Damn, Second Young Master Sutherland, you and Ariel Morris are just jealous of me, can’t stand to see me doing well!”

Next to them, Arlo Seys’s fingers stiffened when he heard the name Ariel Morris, his expression turning frighteningly grim.

Inside the room, a sense of low pressure swept in, and both Nico Haynes and Dawn Sutherland unconsciously turned their gazes toward the silent and still Arlo Seys.

Dawn looked at Arlo’s indifferent face, his voice warm and elegant, ”Arlo, did you have a fight with Ariel?”

Besides Ariel, he really couldn’t think of anyone or anything else that would make Arlo look so displeased. Just now, Third Haynes told him that Arlo arrived at his house soaking wet, likely drenched in rain the whole way, without driving, which is why he floored it all the way over to check on him.

Arlo Seys sat on the sofa, his face indifferent, eyes deep, exuding an elegant and noble aura, without responding.

Nico Haynes stood up, walked to the fridge, took out three cans of beer, and threw them to the two sitting on the sofa, ”Boss Seys, Second Young Master Sutherland, catch!”

Dawn Sutherland caught the beer with a slight smile, looked at Nico Haynes, and teased, ”Third Haynes, I remember you’ve got a treasured bottle of premium red wine. Bring it out! Just offering us a few beers?”

Nico Haynes stomped his feet, ”Second Young Master Sutherland, you’ve been eyeing that treasured bottle of red wine for a while now. Can’t you just not keep focusing on my wine?”

Arlo Seys also lifted his gaze to Nico Haynes, speaking lightly, ”I think that bottle of red wine should taste pretty good.”

The implication being, Third Haynes, bring it out and let the brothers share it, blessings are meant to be shared.

Nico Haynes glared at the two, painfully pulling out his prized bottle of red wine, opening it, and poured each person a glass.

”Boss Seys, tell me, with you not being happy, how much have I contributed? Do you know how much this bottle of red wine costs? Just thinking about it pains me!” Nico Haynes said with a face full of sorrow.

That was a treasure he had snatched back from someone else for 170,000 USD...

Dawn Sutherland took a sip and laughed, ”It’s really not bad. Only Third Young Master Haynes can bear to spend a small car’s worth of money on a bottle of red wine.”

Arlo Seys drank the red wine in the goblet in one go and nonchalantly poured himself another glass.

”Boss Seys, savor it slowly; this red wine cost me so much money, and you’re downing it like it’s water, you won’t taste its aged flavor!”

Boss Seys, you’re in a bad mood, but don’t take it out on my wine; I want to savor it slowly!

Dawn Sutherland glanced at Arlo Seys, took a sip of the wine in one go, and poured himself another glass, ”Arlo, I’ll drink with you. Everything will pass, just take it easy.”
