Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 225: Chapter 225: Arlo Seys Invites the Entire Cast to Dinner?

Ariel Morris slid down a bit more, and Valeria Johnson, this time, cooperated fully, standing on her tiptoes and ’struggling’ to reach out to Ariel Morris.

The two pale wrists met, finally reaching each other, and Ariel Morris let out a sigh of relief.

Valeria Johnson, however, gave a cold smile below, quickly reversing to grab Ariel Morris’s wrist and pulling hard...

Ariel Morris, caught off guard, toppled forward in panic, her face turning pale. As her body rapidly rolled towards the steep slope, she heard Valeria Johnson’s sneering voice, which had originally been calling out to her for help.

”Ariel Morris, you have only yourself to blame for trying to take Arlo Seys from me!”

The slope was very deep and high, and Ariel Morris’s body rolled rapidly downward, with no ability to save herself, she could only watch helplessly as she tumbled towards the bottom of the hill...

---

When Valeria Johnson returned to the film set, raindrops had already started to fall. The crew immediately packed up the filming equipment, and everyone quickly headed down the mountain.

The crowd was large and chaotic, and with the impending storm, everyone’s mind was set on urgently evacuating back to City C, so no one noticed a small assistant missing from the car.

When the group reached the bottom of the mountain, a torrential rain poured down, and everyone quickly got into the car, closed the doors, and drove away.

Valeria Johnson smirked to herself, even the heavens were helping her. Today’s scene did not include Langdon Seal, and Langdon Seal did not come with the crew. Thus, no one would notice Ariel Morris’s absence.

On the car, Valeria Johnson pretended to be very tired, closed her eyes to rest, and remained silent to minimize her presence. Because she feared that if she spoke, everyone’s attention would turn to her, and if it turned to her, then her assistant Ariel Morris, who was always with her, would also be noticed. But at this moment, she wanted no one to notice Ariel Morris’s disappearance.

Halfway through the drive, Valeria Johnson’s pretended sleepiness turned real, exhaustion creeping in, and as she was about to nod off, the director’s phone suddenly rang. Valeria Johnson overheard the director saying with a laugh, ”Yes, okay, thank you, President Seys. We should be in City C in about an hour.”

Upon hearing the words ’President Seys,’ Valeria Johnson was jolted awake, immediately opening her eyes and looking at the director.

The director hung up the phone and smiled at everyone, saying, ”President Seys of Era is treating everyone to a meal at Lushwoods Inn today for your hard work.”

Arlo Seys treating us to a meal? Valeria Johnson’s fingertips turned cold for a moment. If Arlo Seys noticed Ariel Morris’s absence at the meal, attention would definitely fall on her since Ariel Morris was her assistant.

Valeria Johnson thought for a moment, yawned, and with a fatigued expression, said, ”I’m too tired today; I’ll skip President Seys’s meal and call him myself.”

A single remark with a double meaning.

Valeria Johnson was the favorite leading actress of Era, with rumors of her being the future Boss Lady of the company. So, saying she’d explain to President Seys privately, what could the director say? He just smiled and agreed.

The director glanced at Valeria Johnson, and her words suggested she and President Seys were very close, frequently in private contact. Was the investment in this drama due to Valeria Johnson being the lead actress?

The director smiled at Valeria Johnson, then dialed a number for Langdon Seal, who played the male lead. President Seys mentioned inviting the entire crew to dine, and as the lead actor, Langdon ’Movie King’ Seal shouldn’t be absent; otherwise, if President Seys felt slighted, who would invest in his next project?

Over an hour later, they reached City C. Valeria Johnson was dropped off home by the driver, while the rest of the group headed to Lushwoods Inn for President Seys’s gathering.

When the director’s group arrived, Callan Walkers, Arlo Seys’s assistant, and Brother Holland, Langdon Seal’s agent, were already waiting at the entrance.
