Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 223: Chapter 223: You’re Only Capable of Stabbing People in the Back

Somehow, the rumor about Langdon Seal and Ariel Morris gradually climbed in popularity, eventually topping the trending list on Weibo for several days.

Three days later, Ariel Morris went on location to film with the crew of ”Ten Years, We’re Still Fine.”

A group of staff took five vans and after two hours, they reached their destination, a large mountain nearly 200 kilometers away from City C.

The weather was somewhat gloomy, as if it could rain heavily at any moment. As soon as they landed, the director urged everyone to start filming quickly, so they could finish early and return to City C, fearing that the rain might delay the shoot.

Midway through the shoot, Valeria Johnson said she needed to go to the bathroom. The sky was overcast, and it was a bit dark in the deep mountains. Valeria called on Ariel Morris, her assistant, to accompany her into the mountains to deal with her urgent need.

They walked for twenty minutes, quite far from the filming site, and Valeria kept walking forward with no intention of stopping.

Ariel Morris looked at the sky filled with dark clouds, and the rain seemed imminent. Unable to hold back her anxiety, she said, ”Valeria Johnson, we are already very far from the set, and it’s about to rain heavily. There’s no one around here, just find a big tree to squat behind and solve it!”

Valeria looked back in the direction they came from, displeased. ”Ariel Morris, as my assistant, you won’t even accompany me to the bathroom. What’s the point of having you as an assistant?”

Ariel Morris pressed her lips and stared directly at her, ”Valeria Johnson, I haven’t even dealt with you for what happened on the yacht! If you don’t want me as your assistant, go tell HR yourself! I don’t want to see you either! Stop using these shameless, annoying tactics!”

Valeria sneered, ”If you dare, tell everyone that I pushed you into the sea! See how many people will believe you? Ariel Morris, even if you tell Arlo Seys, he might not believe you! Do you think Arlo is still the same Arlo who loved and adored you? You haven’t even thought about the deep pain when you transferred abroad eight years ago! He won’t forgive you! Stop clinging to Arlo Seys!”

Ariel Morris’s eyes were cold as she looked at Valeria Johnson, ”Are you afraid that I’ll cling to Arlo Seys? Afraid that he might choose to be with me instead of you? Valeria Johnson, I was gone for eight years, and you still couldn’t win over Arlo Seys. Do these sinister tactics behind my back work against me? Has Arlo Seys ever glanced at you? You’re the one who’s shamelessly clinging on!”

”You!” Valeria was furious and raised her hand for a slap.

As the hand was about to strike, Ariel Morris quickly dodged sideways, and Valeria’s hand swung into the air.

Ariel Morris laughed coldly, grabbing Valeria’s wrist tightly and warned her sternly, ”I told you, don’t show your claws at me again! Otherwise, I won’t hesitate to help you fix them!”

With that, Ariel Morris twisted Valeria’s wrist slightly, applying about seventy percent of her strength.

”Ow! Ariel Morris, let go!” Valeria’s face twisted in pain, struggling hard.

The more Valeria struggled, the tighter Ariel Morris clamped down, until Valeria’s eyes welled up with tears, repeatedly yelling at Ariel, ”Ariel Morris, let go of my fucking hand! You’re about to break it! Let go!”

Ariel Morris snorted coldly, ”Now do you see that you can’t mess with me? Valeria Johnson, if you dare show your claws at me, I’ll cripple your hand first! Compared to someone like you who doesn’t value others’ lives on a yacht, you deserve a harsh lesson! Dare to swing your claws at me again, I’ll deal with them thoroughly! Try me if you don’t believe! You’re only good at scheming behind the scenes, you’re no match for me in a fair fight!”
