Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 228: Chapter 228: Ariel Morris, hold on, wait for me...

”The crew isn’t all here, don’t you know?!” Langdon Seal coldly glanced at the few people and quickly walked out.

”President Seys, wait for me!” Callan Walkers caught up, turning back at the booth doorway to scold those still standing dumbfounded, ”Of all people, you dared to lose Miss Morris at Elephant Hill! You—you! You’re goddamn idiots!”

Miss Morris is President Seys’s most beloved! Imagine President Seys’s anger now, it could easily affect his trusted aides, right?!

Arlo Seys quickly left Lushwoods Manor, reached the garage, started the car, and sped out.

Langdon Seal, who had just arrived, also started his car and rushed out.

Callan Walkers, the last to arrive, watched his boss’s speed and anxiously shouted, ”President Seys, you’re still running a fever!...”

Arlo Seys’s response was to slam the accelerator to the floor, splashing water all over the garage entrance.

Callan: ...Well, compared to Miss Morris’s safety, his boss’s fever is nothing, right? At least that’s what his boss thinks! What can he do? As the special assistant, he’s really worried to death about President Seys...

Arlo Seys raced through the rainstorm, the heavy rain outside making his heart uneasy. If a mudslide occurred, causing a landslide, then Ariel Morris...

Arlo Seys’s hand holding the steering wheel trembled violently, his lips turned a bit pale, and the car suddenly swerved to the right, nearly hitting the guardrail.

He steadied himself, striving to calm his anxious heart, carefully focusing on the road ahead.

Suddenly, the phone rang. He turned on his Bluetooth headset and answered the call.

”Hello, Boss Seys, I’ve found a doctor for you. Are you off work yet? Come back quickly and let the doctor check you. You’ve had a high fever for two days!”

”Nico,” Arlo Seys replied in a deep voice, ”I am currently heading to Elephant Hill.”

Nico Haynes was taken aback, ”What are you going to Elephant Hill for? It’s raining so heavily, and you’re running a high fever. Driving could easily distract you! Hurry back and let the doctor treat you!”

”Nico, listen to me. Ariel went with Valeria Johnson to shoot on location, and she was left behind at Elephant Hill. I need to find her now! You immediately drive to my house and tell my dad and Second Young Master Sutherland to have the rescue team in place immediately!”

Nico Haynes also got anxious, ”I’ll head to the Seys Family estate immediately, then rendezvous with Second Young Master Sutherland and hurry over! Boss Seys, stay in the car, wait for us! You’re running a high fever, and if you faint in the mountain rain, where will we find you!...?”

Arlo Seys’s response was a quick hang-up, his expression stern, completely disregarding Nico’s advice.

Indeed, three days ago, he came to Nico’s house from Royal View City, and after being drenched by rain the entire way, developed a high fever the next day. Today at Lushwoods Inn, he downed a few more drinks, and now his whole body burned with fever, his internal temperature not decreasing at all.

But Ariel is still in the deep mountains alone, the rain growing heavier; how could he possibly ignore her? She is the one he has always deeply loved and never forgotten. Even if it meant dying, he wouldn’t let anything happen to her.

People in love are irrational and illogical. He admits he resents Ariel Morris, hates her departure and breakup letter from eight years ago, but as soon as he hears she’s in trouble, all that hatred turns into panic and fear sweeping over him.

He can resent her, but he cannot bear even a hint of harm coming to her! Ariel Morris owes him, no one else! No one can take Ariel Morris’s life!

Arlo Seys looked at the heavy rain outside the car, eyes narrowed with deep darkness.

Ariel Morris, hang in there, wait for me.
