Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 189: Chapter 189 ”Ten Years, We’re Still Fine” Youth Idol Drama

The girl tilted her head and spoke to Arlo Seys, though Arlo appeared calm, the slight curve at the corner of his mouth suggested they were having a pleasant conversation.

Ariel Morris pursed her lips, feeling quite downcast, staring directly at the elevator door.

As the elevator door closed, Arlo gently raised his gaze, his deep eyes looked ahead and also saw the unwavering gaze outside the elevator.

Their eyes met, a room apart, as the elevator door promptly shut.....

Ariel stood there dumbfounded for a long time, her eyes somewhat desolate...

----

With a heavy heart, Ariel entered the employee elevator, arriving at the 27th floor in the artist work area, where Valeria Johnson, assistant Martin, and agent Sister Fiona were having a meeting in the director’s office.

Ariel knocked on the office door and, after receiving a response, pushed the door open and entered.

Upon seeing Ariel, the originally cheerful Valeria’s facial expression immediately darkened significantly. She gazed at Ariel with undisguised disdain in her eyes, ”Ariel Morris, weren’t you fired? What are you doing back?!”

Ariel felt a bit awkward, Valeria addressed her with a particularly unfriendly tone in front of so many people, everyone knew that the young assistant and Era’s leading actress did not get along!

Looking at Valeria, Ariel softly replied, ”Supervisor Liston called me to continue working; if you have any doubts, you can ask the supervisor.”

Valeria grew angry, about to scold Ariel when the agent, Sister Fiona, gently pulled Valeria’s arm, attempting to mediate softly, ”Valeria, it really was Supervisor Liston who asked her to keep working. Last night, he called me to inform me that this little assistant would be working today. It’s unnecessary to get upset over a small assistant; maintaining your perfect image is what’s most important.”

Why would Supervisor Liston actively care about the fate of a small assistant and even specifically call to inform his agent?

Valeria scoffed, her mocking gaze sweeping over Ariel, standing at the doorway.

Supervisor Liston called to arrange Ariel’s work, and since Ariel was already a dismissed intern assistant, she logically shouldn’t be rehired, which leaves only one possibility.....

It’s Arlo Seys...

With this thought, Valeria’s gaze toward Ariel turned even colder, finding Ariel’s face extremely irritating.
