Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

After parting ways with [Dragon God’s Might] and strategizing separately in the [Hall of History], Yang Yu should have realized that they were exploring different instances of the same maze.

Although the mechanism behind the Underground Maze is unknown, each maze appears to have its own prize pool. The maze will only be considered completely defunct once all the prizes within the pool are claimed.

The [Hall of History] likely follows this rule too and possesses a vast prize pool. The maze will stop refreshing only when all prizes in the pool are claimed.

And once an item is removed from the prize pool, it’s gone for good.

The list of redeemable prizes Yang Yu can see now consists of treasures from the prize pool.

They are not the only adventure group strategizing the [Hall of History], at least also [Dragon God’s Might]...

If [Taunt] falls into their hands and they don’t intend to use it, maybe it could be obtainable.

However, if there are other S-Class adventure teams exploring the [Hall of History] and the [Taunt] Skill Scroll happens to be in their possession, Yang Yu can only hope they refrain from using [Taunt], as it is quite valuable. Even if they sell it for money, they shouldn’t use it themselves.

Yang Yu’s mind was in turmoil; he didn’t expect today to be the closest he’s ever been to acquiring [Taunt].

But, he quickly regained his composure.

As a solo game streamer, he’s had plenty of moments where his strategies fell apart; this was just a minor setback.

The most pressing task now is to quickly confirm the other Skill Scrolls and acquire all essential skills and tools as fast as possible, to prevent others from taking them from the shared prize pool.

As for the issue of insufficient points and temporarily unable to make a redemption...

Yang Yu noticed a [reservation] feature under the [Special Items] section, which allows keeping an item fixed on the redemption list for a week at a cost of fifty points.

It’s truly a lifesaver.

This function is a blessing for those not lucky; with just 50 points, it can prevent one’s desired items from being unexpectedly claimed by others.

Yang Yu quickly secured three Legendary Equipment and five Skill Scrolls, and then began reassessing if there were any other items worth acquiring.

Each duplicate page yields 5 points, while pages brought in from the outer Lux Maze grant 50 points.

Thanks to Iyas’ luck, which yielded hundreds of duplicate pages, combined with Yang Yu’s previous pages, Yang Yu’s points had approached twenty thousand, although insufficient for redeeming everything he desired.

Based on the maximum pages obtainable in a single maze refresh, it’s estimated that it would take at least a dozen or so refreshes to claim everything he wished for.

The good news is that Epic items obtained in the [Hall of History] can also be recycled; the bad news is that the recycling return is paltry. Yang Yu had a bartending robot recycle one piece of equipment and received merely a tenth of its redemption value in points, which was quite unreasonable.

Nonetheless, Yang Yu decisively converted a multitude of unused Epic items into points.

Yang Yu’s points surged to 40,000, and his previously crammed inventory instantly cleared out by more than half, alleviating his concern over insufficient space for spoils.

”Sorting complete. No more duplicate pages.

Missing page numbers are 2, 19, 63, 94, 115, 139, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209…

Do you want to extract?”

Yang Yu shook his head, instead switching the redemption interface to the tools section, scrolling to the very bottom where he found five pages each priced at 1000 points, purchasing pages marked as [Non-Spoils], with explanations for ”205,” ”206,” ”207,” ”208,” ”209,” and handing these pages to the bartending robot.

The robot placed the pages in its belly, saying:

”Sorting complete. No more duplicate pages.

Missing page numbers are 2, 19, 63, 94, 115, 139…

Do you want to extract?”

Yang Yu shook his head again. It was fortunate he inquired about the pages; handing them to the robot for sorting was essential, otherwise, it was nearly impossible to gauge page completeness.

”Which floor numbers have slightly higher drop rates for the remaining pages?”

”Pages 2 and 19 have a 6.53% occurrence rate on the Sixth Floor, while pages 63, 94, 115, and 139 have a 1.27% rate on the Eighth Floor. The closer one gets to the lower floors, the more complete the pages drop.”

”Will the points already recorded disappear?”

”Unless your entire group perishes, the points remain valid permanently.

However, I must remind you that once you exit this Underground Maze, it signifies the end of your strategy and causes the points to become void.

Therefore, I must once again solemnly remind you.

Only decide on your next course of action after ensuring everything is settled and nothing is left unfinished.”

”Final question. After finishing this floor, is it possible to select staying on the same floor and use the [refresh] feature under [Special Items] to actively refresh the Underground Maze?”

”Of course. Please note that each use of [refresh] causes the required points to gradually increase.

After four refreshes, you may encounter an irreversible situation.

Therefore, after the fourth instance, reflect carefully before deciding whether to refresh the Underground Maze.

The automatic refresh cycle is one month, but only the first seven floors are refreshed, the remaining three aren’t.

Also, from the Eighth Floor and beyond, clearing each floor triggers an automatic partial maze refresh.

If you wish to gather the remaining pages, you can return to strategize over refreshed floor levels now.”

With the robot’s flashing lights illuminating his path, Yang Yu stood up:

”Thank you. If there are any issues, I will visit again. I will definitely acquire what I desire.”

”You are always welcome here. If you manage to gather all the pages, you’ll receive a great gift here.”

”What kind of gift?”

”Please look forward to it.”

The bartending robot watched as Yang Yu closed the door to the bar and began cleaning the glass he had just used, anticipating his next visit.

Yang Yu stepped outside as Bai Jin and the others approached to inquire about the situation.

Yang Yu simply greeted them, signaling them to proceed to the Second Floor while discussing strategy.

Directly defeating the colossal robot mentioned by the bartending robot could potentially complete the [Hall of History] and extract the Holy Sword.

However…

Yang Yu felt that compared to the world’s secrets, the Holy Sword was secondary.

Even if refreshing more than four times, he still wanted to gather all the remaining pages.

Yang Yu wasn’t counting on other S-Class adventure groups not converting pages into points, allowing him to collect the remainder.
