Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The demons reborn time and again, finally sweeping the angels off the board.

The demons can resurrect not just once.

Take Beelzebub for example, its Death Aura is incredibly useful; just place it among the angels, and the surrounding angels start losing blood rapidly.

The only flaw is that Beelzebub’s frame is somewhat fragile. Once it’s sent to the center of the angels, it gets focused down immediately and basically doesn’t survive for a second round to unleash a second skill.

However, Yang Yu didn’t expect it to survive a second round; he directly treats it as a suicide bomb truck.

Anyway, it revives quite quickly.

As long as it stands in a line with Agares, it can quickly be pulled over using the demon Agares’ skill and then output damage.

Beelzebub basically revives only to be thrown into the middle of the angel group by Yang Yu, causing explosive havoc incessantly.

Yang Yu recalled that he had interacted with the real Beelzebub before, Beelzebub is a demon who quite likes to toy with human hearts.

If this great war really happened, the demon commanders might have used Beelzebub just like Yang Yu did.

Beelzebub harbors some resentment, so it chose to toy with humans, which is understandable.

The light gradually disappeared on the ground, leaving only three demon chess pieces on the board, and Yang Yu’s mind recalled what Beelzebub once told him:

”I never thought you’d have the same scent as the group that created me.”

The people who created and controlled the demons were undoubtedly ancient humans.

Did they create demons to defeat angels?

Lacking information, Yang Yu couldn’t conclude.

The dead demons gradually form into stone blocks on the board.

As time passes, the blocks slowly carve out the likeness of demons again.

With this, it should count as passing the test of this level.

After defeating the angels, would the layer guardian faced be a counterfeit demon?

Yang Yu couldn’t be sure, but he still told his companions to prepare for battle at any time in case the demon statues suddenly come to life and attack them.

Yet, as time passed by the minute, the sculpted demons still showed no signs of becoming lifelike.

They sometimes suddenly collapsed, sometimes suddenly repaired, repeating the cycle ten or more times.

Suddenly, without warning, a black dot appeared in the sky.

The black dot gradually enlarged bit by bit, forming a massive black hole.

The black hole emitted a powerful suction force, uprooting all the demon chess pieces on the board, completely engulfing them, making the pieces vanish without a trace.

Yang Yu and his companions stood there, completely unaffected by the black hole.

The black hole transformed into a white brilliance, slowly dissipating, with treasure boxes accompanied by a large amount of gold coins falling from the light, the reset button on the square leading to the tenth floor vanished without a trace, and the sphere glimmered slightly.

There are no layer guardians on this level; one only needs to solve the chess puzzle to pass the ninth floor.

”Is this the end?”

Yang Yu murmured to himself.

The demons’ final outcome is a complete sealing.

Why the demons were sealed, this history doesn’t tell, but Yang Yu has an inkling of the reason.

The creators of the demons were unable to ascertain what kind of influence the demons would have on the future world.

The best method to deal with such powerful weaponry that can think for themselves is still to seal them away.

Since it was just playing chess, Yang Yu and Bai Jin didn’t use much stamina.

Yang Yu decided to clear the spoils of war and then immediately proceed to the tenth floor.

The Hall of History is all created by Hero Lox following certain histories.

If the sole aim is to resolve the Demon King, there is no need to show Tamers so much, so long past...

Yang Yu became increasingly interested in Lox the person, and increasingly intrigued by his plans.

Even the Goblin Emperor can resurrect, surely, he has some method of resurrection.

If not resurrected, his soul should be seen somewhere.

Who knows whether he’d be willing to reveal his true purpose to me.

Iyas opened each box one by one, and Yang Yu followed her, sorting various spoils of war into his system.

The loot was so plentiful that since arriving in this world, Yang Yu experienced a warehouse bursting for the first time, and in desperation could only discard some unused bottles and jars to clear space and sweep away all the spoils.

Whether the strategy is finished or not, Yang Yu also doesn’t know whether the cleared space can accommodate the remaining loot.

This can only be discovered after conquering the tenth floor.

Yang Yu placed his hands with his companions on the grey sphere, once more traversing layers of mist, arriving at the penultimate floor of the Hall of History.

Once through this floor, Yang Yu and the others will be just an arm’s length from the Holy Sword.

The tenth floor is a pure white and exquisite mechanical world; abnormally rounded architectural structures provide everyone present with an indescribable aesthetic.

Egg-shaped robots shuttle quickly within this exquisite mechanical world, faces flickering with unique illumination.

Yang Yu scanned the robots flying around the sky with the system panel and discovered they’re the same as those on the seventh floor, merely ordinary NPCs not equipped with attacking abilities.

These robots also didn’t notice Yang Yu or his companions, just like the NPCs on the seventh floor, minding their own business, wandering and patrolling in the vast city.

Stepping into the streets of this peculiar city, Yang Yu and his companions searched for any clues to clear this floor.

A bar at odds with the entire beautiful white city came into Yang Yu and his companions’ view in the city.

The bar is a small wooden house decorated with various kinds of flowers.

If encountered within a towering forest, such a cottage would surely be thought of as a witch’s workshop.

This small wooden house shouldn’t exist in such a high-tech city.

At first glance, this cottage seems rather dubious.

After pondering for a moment, Yang Yu pushed open the bar’s door alone.

From the other side of the door, a humanoid robot resembling a cat shook the cocktail shaker in its hand, issuing remarkably smooth words:

”Welcome guests to visit, is there anything you’d like to know?

If it’s regarding how to clear this floor, I can tell you directly.

You just need to go to the center of this floor, insert your square box into the giant robot there, and use the key inside to open its switches one by one and battle it, which will directly clear this floor.

Before the official challenge, please ensure you’re thoroughly prepared without anything overlooked.

Any other questions?”
