The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Willy Kingsley patted her shoulder, comforting silently: ”Sooner or later, we’ll make them regret it!”

Zevaney Kingsley thought of the laptop she had received not long ago, squeezed the hand hanging by her side tightly, and a sliver of a smile finally reappeared on her face. She brushed up the hair by her ear and said softly, ”Yes, people can’t always be lucky. So keep a low profile to avoid having nowhere to cry when luck runs out.”

She had set her sights on the position as the heir of The First Research Institute!

Why should Nathalie Quinlan compete with her...

No one is fit to compete with her!

Saturday.

The airport in Inderia.

Nathalie Quinlan had to return, and Amadeus Yancey also had to go back.

Alfred Garland and Sadam Vinson were both planning to go back for a while.

Vincent Moore and Zed Moore came to see them off. When they arrived at the airport, Vincent parked the car while Zed quickly got out of the car, adeptly taking the luggage for the two.

Neither Nathalie Quinlan nor Amadeus Yancey brought much stuff; Nathalie only carried a black single shoulder bag that felt light in Zed’s hand, probably containing just a laptop and two pieces of clothing, nothing else.

Amadeus Yancey also only had a small deep blue suitcase, which didn’t look heavy either, presumably not holding much inside.

Zed Moore dragged their belongings over and said to the two who had just alighted, ”Amadeus, Ms. Quinlan, let me escort you inside.”

”I’ll do it.” Nathalie stretched out her hand to indicate that she didn’t need him to carry the bag.

Just as Zed was about to say he would still carry it, Amadeus Yancey glanced over, and Zed instantly got the signal, silently handing the bag back to the girl.

Still, he worriedly said, ”Ms. Quinlan, actually, I can help you with the bag; it’s not heavy.”

”No problem, I’m used to doing it myself.” Nathalie slung the single shoulder bag over her shoulder, put one hand in her pocket, and just at that moment her phone rang. She took out her phone for a glance and told the pair, ”I’ll be right back, just need to take a call.”

Alfred Garland and Sadam Vinson went to the trunk to fetch their luggage.

Both of them had a lot of luggage.

Especially Sadam Vinson, who bought a lot of specialties from Inderia before departure intending to take them back as gifts.

His luggage consisted of three suitcases, and his hands were carrying big and small bags, puffing hard to keep up with the main group. With keen eyes, he saw the girl walking to the side and hurriedly dragged his luggage to catch up, asking the young man with extraordinary looks standing there, ”Amadeus, where is Nathalie going?”

”A call from the Zachmann Family.” Amadeus Yancey succinctly replied and then ignored him, heading into the airport first.

Sadam Vinson hesitated, unsure whether to stay put to wait for Nathalie to return or go in.

Soon, Amadeus Yancey came back.

Holding two cups of hot cocoa.

Obviously bought for Nathalie.

Sadam Vinson eyed one of the cups enviously, licked his lips, knowing he was asking for it but still shamelessly came forward and said, ”Amadeus, what a coincidence! How did you know I was thirsty?”

Amadeus Yancey dodged him directly and with no mercy glanced at him, ”Go buy your own.”

Sadam Vinson howled but sadly no one paid attention to him.

Edric Yancey also held a small suitcase himself; proudly refusing any help from adults, he handled his own luggage entirely by himself.

While Nathalie was around, he behaved cute and sensible.

As soon as Nathalie walked away to take a call, he immediately reverted to his true nature, losing patience with everyone, not wanting to interact.

Amadeus Yancey crouched down, handed him one of the cups of hot cocoa, and raised an eyebrow: ”Yours, take it.”
