The Unveiling of Secret Queen

He tidied up a bit and hurried over to the Intercontinental Hotel.

A black-clothed bodyguard led him outside the private room.

Sure enough, Amadeus Yancey was waiting for him inside.

And just as he thought, Amadeus wanted to see him regarding Nathalie Quinlan.

”Zevaney Kingsley is the most promising among the younger generation of the Kingsley Family. The family has invested a lot in her training. When she entered the research institute, the Kingsley Family specifically approached Nathan Garland to take her on as a disciple...”

”S...” Nicholas Fuller almost let it slip: ”Nathalie... was too impulsive this time.”

”She shouldn’t have acted against Zevaney Kingsley at this critical moment. The Kingsley Family won’t let it go easily, and in such a situation, both the institute and I can’t keep favoring her, or the rumors outside will only grow more...”

Nicholas Fuller learned in the afternoon that Nathalie Quinlan had taken action against Zevaney Kingsley.

He had been thinking about a solution from the moment he received the message.

Unfortunately, up until now, Nicholas Fuller hadn’t thought of a perfect solution that would make the Kingsley Family keep quiet and stop pursuing the matter.

”I’ll take responsibility for her actions.” Amadeus Yancey didn’t say much, just stated it plainly before pulling up a document from his phone and tossing the phone to Nicholas Fuller: ”Send this to Hansel Kingsley.”

”This is...”

Nicholas Fuller picked up the phone and opened the file he mentioned; inside was a video file that seemed to be surveillance footage.

Nicholas Fuller opened the video.

The video quality was average, and it captured Leony Davidson.

Leony Davidson seemed to have been slapped and was lying on the ground, hysterically shouting something.

”...it was Zevaney Kingsley who approached me; her driver gave me a packet of drugs... later I understood her intention, I didn’t know those drugs were poison.”

Amadeus Yancey heard the hysterical screams of Leony Davidson in the video and, somewhat impatiently, picked up the tea on the table, took a sip, lowered his eyelids, and said blandly: ”This is the hospital’s surveillance video, I had someone make a copy.”

The copy he gave Nicholas Fuller was the attachment he had made; the original video was still on his computer.

He had Alfred Garland arrange it.

Amadeus Yancey did not give anyone in the Davidson Family time to react, having already secured this evidence, waiting for this moment.

”Yesterday afternoon, Leony Davidson poisoned Marcella Davidson, causing her to nearly die. She had surgery, and after the surgery, Leony herself admitted to the poisoning, implicating Zevaney Kingsley in the act of giving her poison and instigating her...”

”There aren’t many people she cares about, Marcella Davidson is one of them.”

Amadeus Yancey knew Nathalie Quinlan too well. Nathalie is someone whose words may be harsh but has a soft heart. The few who make it into her heart, she would go all out to protect.

Like the Cagwin family before.

And later Edric, Mr. Zachmann, and Audrick Zachmann.

To now, Marcella Davidson.

Nathalie is never the one who talks the most, but she’s definitely the one who does the most!

”Zevaney Kingsley shouldn’t have targeted Marcella Davidson; that’s why she acted against Zevaney, to give her an unforgettable lesson.”

Even though Nicholas Fuller didn’t know the details of the situation, just watching the surveillance video provided by Amadeus Yancey was enough for him to piece together most of the story.

Now hearing what Amadeus Yancey told him, he originally didn’t quite understand why Nathalie Quinlan had to act against Zevaney Kingsley this time, but now he understood.

He had been lurking in the small group for several years and somewhat understood Nathalie Quinlan’s nature.

Nicholas Fuller nodded, saying little: ”I’ll send this to the Kingsley Family.”
