The Unveiling of Secret Queen

But the corner of her eye soon caught sight of Kenzie Nabours.

Leony Davidson thought again of the slap she received that day in the hospital; her eyes flickered, and she bit her lip, lowering her head once more, not daring to make a sound.

Kenzie Nabours noticed Leony Davidson’s small movements and then looked at Mrs. Davidson. His gaze turned cold, with undisguised disappointment in his tone: ”Is this the resolution you promised me?”

”The other day in the hospital, you promised me a satisfactory resolution. So, in these days you’ve deliberated, the resolution is for her to apologize to Marcella?”

Mrs. Davidson was speechless and stammered: ”Kenzie, we are all family. I admit Leony was in the wrong, but she’s still young, and I will educate her properly in the future...”

”No need.”

Kenzie Nabours interrupted her, turning sideways as he glanced around the car and instructed in a heavy tone: ”Get out, and take her away!”

Three burly men immediately got off the off-road vehicle parked at the roadside. Their eyes shone with restrained light, clearly trained professionals.

Mrs. Davidson panicked this time, shielding Leony Davidson behind her, shouting hoarsely: ”What are you doing? Kenzie, we are all family. Don’t act rashly. None of us want this to happen. Leony didn’t do it intentionally. Even the old lady agreed to this resolution...”

Kenzie Nabours loved Marcella Davidson deeply, and thus respected Marcella Davidson’s family greatly, especially Mrs. Davidson, consistently giving enough face.

But this time, Mrs. Davidson miscalculated.

Kenzie Nabours did not stop upon hearing the old lady’s name. Instead, he opened the car door, without turning back, saying: ”I will have her sent out of Inderia to reflect on her actions outside, and she should never return for the rest of her life.”

Leony Davidson was already being controlled by the three men he brought. She was still struggling initially, but hearing Kenzie Nabours’ words, her whole body went limp, completely frightened.

”Unc-Uncle, I was wrong.”

”Uncle...”

She couldn’t be expelled from Inderia; being expelled meant her life was over.

She is the future heir of the Davidson Family.

How can she be banished from Inderia?

”Uncle...” This time, Leony Davidson finally squeezed out a few crocodile tears.

But unfortunately, her tears moved only herself and no one else!

Before getting into the car, Kenzie Nabours gave her a direct look, gazing deeply at her, and said in a heavy voice: ”Your aunt has cared for you over the years and gave you everything except the will from behind. She even paved the way for you into the research institute! How do you repay her?”

”You knew she was in poor health, knew we trusted you without defense... but you poisoned the medicine!”

Kenzie Nabours looked at her.

Leony Davidson, with tearful eyes, covered her face, both fearful and evasive, trying to refute for herself: ”I didn’t know the medicine was poisonous. I just wanted to mess with Nathalie Quinlan, didn’t think it would affect Aunt as well.”

Kenzie Nabours shook his head, utterly disappointed in her: ”Leony Davidson, no matter how many reasons you have, I cannot forgive your actions; you have greatly disappointed me!”

Mrs. Davidson watched as she couldn’t protect her daughter, her voice becoming increasingly shrill: ”Kenzie Nabours, aren’t you afraid the old lady will be upset? I will sue you.”

Kenzie Nabours had already opened the car door, turned sideways, and left a cold remark: ”I will speak to the old lady personally.”

He had been busy back and forth in the hospital these days, without closing his eyes for several days.

Now that Marcella Davidson’s condition is gradually stabilizing, Mr. Dax also told him that she can be transferred to a regular ward, allowing Kenzie Nabours a moment to come out and handle this mess.
