The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Khendy Lordon’s messages came one after another.

[When do you plan to leave?]

Nathalie Quinlan propped her hand, her eyelids drooping, and saw Khendy Lordon’s message again. She typed a reply with both hands: [Saturday, probably, the time is not set.]

She was afraid she wouldn’t be able to get up in the morning.

So the specific time depends on when she wakes up.

Khendy Lordon remained silent for now.

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t think much of it, put her phone back, and her line of sight fell once more on the little guy studying earnestly, watching him for several seconds.

She suddenly spoke: ”Edric, do you really like programming?”

”Huh?”

Edric Yancey raised his head, not quite understanding. As soon as he saw Nathalie Quinlan’s face, his eyes brightened a bit, his ears turned red, and he shyly said: ”I, I like it.”

In his heart, he silently added another sentence: Because sister likes programming, so he likes programming!

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t know what he wanted to say in his heart, nodded, her delicate face cool and stylish, and said: ”I’ll find a teacher to teach you.”

Edric Yancey blinked, reluctant, and asked in a small voice: ”Sister, can’t you teach me?”

Nathalie Quinlan turned to look at him, instantly seeing the unspeakable disappointment on his face, her heart tugged, and it softened again.

Her hand rested on the mouse, not knowing how to comfort children, her voice somewhat low and hoarse: ”I can teach you. But you need to learn systematically, not just go about it haphazardly. I’ll find you a teacher to teach you systematically, you can learn from the basics, it will help you in the future.”

Edric Yancey’s thoughts weren’t really on learning, he heard this, uttered a disappointed ”oh”, then forced himself to be upbeat, trying not to let Nathalie Quinlan see it: ”I’ll study well.”

Simply pitiful and obedient!

Nathalie Quinlan was always helpless with elders and children. Seeing him like this, she couldn’t bear to let him feel sad. She walked over, reached out, and messed up the little guy’s hair, looking down, said: ”It’s not that I don’t care about you.”

Edric Yancey instantly looked at her with grievance, his hands clenched his own clothes, too stubborn to say anything.

Nathalie Quinlan understood his personality, again messed up his twisting hair, smiled, and said: ”I’m finding you a teacher just to make it convenient for you to learn systematically, not to ignore you, if there are things you don’t understand, you can still ask me, I’ll explain when I have time.”

”That teacher... isn’t bad.”

Nathalie Quinlan thought for a moment: ”He specializes in software programming, in that area he’s a bit better than I am, I’ll speak with Mrs. Yancey.”

The little guy has been following her these days.

Nathalie Quinlan, of course, noticed that the Yancey Family had found professional teachers for the little guy.

However, the little guy had extraordinary talent in this area, the general teaching methods were not suitable for him, furthermore, teachers might not be able to keep up with his pace.

Rather than having Edric Yancey keep changing teachers.

She might as well find someone to teach him systematically.

Nathalie Quinlan turned her head, gently inquiring about his opinion: ”Edric, is that alright?”

Edric Yancey was only six years old this year, ordinary people wouldn’t care about a six-year-old child’s opinion, but Nathalie Quinlan asked him in a very equal tone.

Initially, Edric Yancey couldn’t quite accept this sudden arrangement, but after Nathalie Quinlan explained it to him, he wasn’t that resistant anymore.

His beautiful little face tensed up, he lowered his head, seriously thought for a while, then raised his head, his large eyes fluttering like a fan looking at Nathalie Quinlan, his small hand clutching the corner of Nathalie Quinlan’s clothes: ”If, if sister is still willing to teach me in the future, then I can.”

”Okay.” Nathalie Quinlan turned and said: ”I’ll go talk to Mrs. Yancey.”
