The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Kenzie Nabours wants to send Leony Davidson abroad?

Nathalie Quinlan was slightly stunned, it was the first time she heard this news.

Mainly, she had been too busy these days, dealing with the matters at the research institute, making medicine, and teaching Edric some simple introductory programming.

She didn’t pay much attention to what was happening in Inderia.

Kenzie Nabours hadn’t mentioned it to her either.

Though Nathalie hadn’t heard about it before, she just turned her head slightly, her dark eyes as if ink droplets looking at Mrs. Davidson, and said coldly, ”So what.”

So what?

Mrs. Davidson couldn’t maintain her fake smile anymore.

She looked at the ’culprit’ in front of her. If it weren’t for considering Leony, she might have already lost patience with the resentment and dissatisfaction in her heart.

”Nathalie, you have known Leony for so long, you know her personality. She knows she was wrong, she has been crying to me these past few days, asking me to apologize to you.”

Mrs. Davidson cautiously looked at the girl sitting on the sofa, lowering her voice and speaking humbly: ”Could you forgive her?”

”She doesn’t have bad intentions, she was tricked by Zevaney Kingsley at the start. You’ve already taught Zevaney a lesson, and Marcella wasn’t seriously hurt, even benefited from a surgery...”

The more Mrs. Davidson spoke, the more resentment and dissatisfaction she felt inside.

She gritted her teeth and said: ”Nathalie, ultimately this is all because of Zevaney Kingsley!”

”Zevaney was only expelled from The First Research Institute, whereas Leony, who was deceived, not only faces expulsion but also exile from Inderia... Is that fair?”

At first, Nathalie could still listen patiently out of consideration for Marcella Davidson. But hearing this, the pent-up irritability and gloom around her were ignited by Mrs. Davidson’s self-justification.

She didn’t speak.

However, Mrs. Davidson thought that her silence meant Nathalie was at a loss for words because she was right.

Persisting, her eyes already red, she went to wipe her tears: ”Nathalie, I found out, you didn’t have a mom growing up. So, you don’t know a mother’s love for her daughter. Seeing Leony unable to eat or sleep well, I’ve been heartbroken. Please listen to Auntie, forgive Leony, okay? If you just tell Kenzie, he might ignore others, but he’d definitely listen to you.”

Kenzie Nabours was determined to teach Leony a lesson this time. Mrs. Davidson had visited him, but his attitude was very firm, and the old lady had nearly been rushed to the hospital due to a spike in blood pressure.

Even after that, Kenzie didn’t change his mind.

Yuni Davidson also refused to help.

Seeing her daughter about to be driven out of Inderia, Mrs. Davidson was out of options, so she put aside her pride to plead.

But having lived a privileged life for so long, even when asking for favors, her tone carried commands, as if Leony was so innocent, and Nathalie was so unfeeling!

”Finished talking?”

Nathalie hadn’t spoken yet when Amadeus Yancey suddenly interrupted.

Seeing him, Mrs. Davidson felt uncertain, she wiped her eyes and said softly, ”I...”

She didn’t dare provoke Amadeus but thought that at least she and Nathalie had the connection through Marcella Davidson, and Nathalie wouldn’t do anything against her as an ’elder’.

Mrs. Davidson quickly glanced in the girl’s direction, looking as if she expected Nathalie to defend her.

Nathalie couldn’t help but chuckle, her eyes quite irritated, licking the corner of her mouth, just about to speak.

Amadeus Yancey stuffed a bottle of water into her arms: ”Ignore her.”
