The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1030: Chapter 1030: When do you plan to leave?

Sadam Vinson interjected: ”Nathalie, who are you going to pick up?”

Nathalie Quinlan slightly lowered her eyelashes, a sheen of light tracing them, giving her a very relaxed and comfortable appearance. Leaning on the sofa, her long legs propped up, straight and symmetrical. Despite her standing pose looking very calm, it gave her an imposing vibe.

”A relative.”

”A relative?” Sadam Vinson thought for a moment, then tilted his head and asked, ”In Beijing?”

Nathalie played skillfully with the candy in her hand, spinning it around between her fair fingers, similar to twirling a pen, looking quite nonchalant: ”Not here.”

Amadeus Yancey narrowed his eyes slightly, leaning on the sofa, his gaze landing on the candy the girl was playing with. The colorful candy wrapper made her hands look very pretty, glaringly bright against her pale skin.

Amadeus Yancey raised his eyelids, shifting his gaze from her hands, his thin lips tightly closed, his chin up, not saying a word, his presence powerful enough to command attention.

”Ohhh.” Sadam Vinson didn’t think too much, turned his head as something occurred to him, then looked at the young man on the sofa and said, ”So, you are also going to the airport?”

”Also?”

Nathalie Quinlan pondered his use of the word ’also,’ looking towards Sadam Vinson.

Sadam Vinson didn’t need her to ask, his big mouth spilling the beans: ”Amadeus and I are going out for a few days, also departing tomorrow.”

Sadam Vinson’s eyes sparkled with great interest towards Nathalie Quinlan, then he immediately followed up and asked: ”Nathalie, what time is your flight tomorrow?”

Nathalie Quinlan discarded the candy in her hand onto the table, standing upright firmly, responding meticulously: ”At ten.”

The flight time Jackson Wafford sent her was at ten, arriving at the Illegal Zone by at least six in the evening, so it was quite a long flight.

She had already planned to bring a blindfold and some books to pass the time, otherwise, it might be extremely boring for such a long period.

”That late?” Sadam Vinson’s face showed a disappointed expression, smacking his lips saying: ”Then we can’t go together. I was thinking if our times were close, we might head to the airport together.”

But his mood was quick to change, and immediately, he cheerfully spoke to Nathalie again: ”Wait for big brother to bring you a gift when I get back.”

Alfred Garland had just brought out coffee, upon hearing his casual ’big brother’, he paused, snuck a glance in Amadeus’s direction, and silently sent silent three candles to someone in his heart.

As expected, Amadeus Yancey on the sofa made a move, addressing Sadam Vinson: ”It’s eight o’clock, when are you planning to scram?”

Sadam Vinson: ”...”

It’s only eight o’clock, and Amadeus usually was still playing games at this hour. Since when did he go to sleep so early?

Amadeus was only in his twenties, not at an age to maintain health in such a manner.

He had not yet figured out what he did wrong to offend this guy, sheepishly touching his earlobe: ”It’s just eight, tonight I...”

Amadeus Yancey gave him a faint glance, his dark eyes dimmed.

A silent warning.

Sadam Vinson’s words hung in the air, abruptly cut off, as if his seat caught fire, he grabbed his phone on the table, pulling Govert Griffin along, smacking his head saying, ”Ah, I remember now, I have an evening gathering, almost forgot about it.”

Caryn Zachmann did indeed message him half an hour ago to invite him for liquor, but he declined and did not go.

He originally planned to wait for Nathalie to come down, then sneak in a few games with Nathalie, but looking at the situation, that wasn’t happening.

Quite regretfully, Sadam Vinson turned his head again towards the girl, his face full of reluctance.
