The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1004: Chapter 1004: The Truth Behind the Kidnapping Is...

Alfred Garland was very curious about what was the leaked news online, but upon seeing Nathalie Quinlan’s indifferent expression, he suddenly lost his urge to know.

”Ms. Quinlan...” He just wanted to say ’Ms. Quinlan you don’t have to talk if you don’t want to’.

Nathalie Quinlan spoke indifferently: ”When I was 11, on the way home, I saw Ghania Quinlan being taken away by a stranger. I worriedly followed, only to be knocked out halfway by ether. Later, the kidnappers demanded ransom from the Quinlan Family for the two of us, 2 million each. Back then, the family had just started a company and didn’t have much cash on hand, so they only managed to gather 2 million, and they specified they wanted to redeem Ghania...”

”Damn it! Those bastards of the Quinlan Family!” Alfred Garland clenched his fists tightly, his temples throbbing with bulging veins, his anger uncontainable as he furiously exclaimed: ”If they wanted to save someone, why didn’t they save both? Why only save one and forget the other? How could anyone do such a thing?!”

Amadeus Yancey’s eyes were as dark as the abyss, his thin lips pressed together without interrupting the girl like Alfred Garland did.

”Because I’m not of Quinlan blood, only Ghania Quinlan is the true daughter of the Quinlan Family.” Nathalie Quinlan’s tone was very faint, as if she had long accepted her fate, speaking as though it was someone else’s story, with no relation to herself: ”The Quinlan Family didn’t pay the ransom, so I was taken to the kidnappers’ den, where there were many children kidnapped from various places and some orphans they had adopted. I stayed there until a year and a half later when I managed to escape and returned to McKinney.”

At that time, she didn’t know her parents weren’t her biological ones, nor did she realize she was merely Ghania Quinlan’s blood bag.

She thought Jeff Quinlan and the rest simply didn’t have enough money and could only put forth 2 million, and between the two, they chose the more obedient and compliant Ghania Quinlan.

It wasn’t until she was 18 that all the truths were unveiled, and she realized that the reason Jeff Quinlan and the others chose Ghania was because the so-called kinship had been a sham from the very start.

What they wanted was her blood.

It was nothing but exploitation.

The reason they were unwilling to pay that 2 million was purely that they felt ’a blood bag’ was simply not worth that much money, and with that money, they could find a new ’blood bag,’ even though she had already lived with the Quinlan Family for 11 years...

”At that time, the Quinlan Family had just entered the upper circles of McKinney and couldn’t afford a scandal, so Jeff Quinlan spent money to bribe local media relations, with very few media outlets reporting the incident.”

Alfred Garland instantly understood the reason the Quinlan Family paid off the media from the online leaks.

It was because they knew they were in the wrong!

Knowing full well the depravity of what they had done, they spent money to suppress the news for Ms. Quinlan! Damn, damn, damn... Alfred Garland’s face turned bright red with indignation.

Amadeus Yancey’s eyes were profoundly deep, he had been silent until Nathalie Quinlan finished speaking, then he asked: ”The hideout of the kidnappers you mentioned is...”

”A training camp.” Nathalie Quinlan’s answer was vague. Her sharp chin had smooth lines, her expression defiant and arrogant, and she spoke nonchalantly: ”Have you ever heard of an ancient method of dog training called ’raising mastiffs’? If a dog gives birth to nine pups, then the nine puppies are put in a chamber, and after they fight each other, the one that survives is the mastiff.”

Of course, those traffickers weren’t about to take lives; they used an elimination system.

The children who were eliminated ended up either maimed, having their limbs cut off to be remotely controlled to beg or sold off to remote areas, even overseas.

To stay, they had to constantly learn.
