The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1007: Chapter 1007: Nathalie: I’m Living Alright

The assistant suddenly thought of Mr. Ingram from Pinecone Group, who seemed to be nearing forty years old and still unmarried.

So Amadeus and Mr. Ingram???

Candice Yancey waved dismissively, without explaining to him, and commanded, ”Pack these up for me, keep them safe and don’t damage them.”

After speaking, she frowned, remembering the online scandal and then thinking about the patriarch at home, she paused before adding, ”Cancel my evening engagements. I’m going home for dinner tonight. Also, go buy a pound of tea for me, the top-grade Tieguanyin tea. I’ll take it with me.”

Mr. Yancey loves to savor tea, Tieguanyin being his favorite. He always collects the fresh teas of the year to drink. As an elderly man, drinking tea nourishes him, and Candice has always loved buying tea for him.

However, this time, giving tea is a secondary matter.

Her main objective for going home tonight is to ascertain the old man’s stance on the incident that was exposed online.

She is definitely on Nathalie Quinlan’s side.

*

A Hot Pot Restaurant not far from Rivendell.

The waiter had just brought the ordered dishes, and the hot pot was bubbling with spicy red oil, emitting a fragrant aroma.

Nathalie Quinlan came out in a change of clothes, wearing a white T-shirt on top with black pants on the bottom and a Duckbill Cap on her head.

Her figure, slender and sculpted beneath the T-shirt, was quite cool.

She picked up the sesame oil from the table and naturally prepared the dipping sauce in her bowl before sequentially adding ingredients to the pot, appearing unaffected by the situation.

However, the others at the table were exchanging glances, all heavy-hearted and not daring to bring up her ’sorrow’.

Sadam Vinson heard from Govert Griffin that Nathalie and others were going to eat Hot Pot, so he shamelessly made his way over.

He initially thought that Nathalie would at least have a dismal mood if not crying her eyes out, and might not even be able to eat.

But the sight of the Girl, sitting across from him, breezy and energetic in eating, made the corner of his mouth twitch.

”Qiao...”

Nathalie lifted her eyelids, and with a pair of beautiful eyes that seemed to anticipate what he was about to say, she calmly interrupted him, ”I’m alright, not isolating myself, not upset, not contemplating suicide, still living okay, and if lucky, may even live for several more decades.”

Sadam Vinson: ”...Did I say something?”

He had barely started, and she had already answered everything he wanted to ask.

However, seeing Nathalie so composedly enjoying Hot Pot put his mind, which had been hanging in suspense, at ease. He smiled wryly, picked up his chopsticks nonchalantly: ”Nathalie, I’ll have some tripe, it’s on your side. Could you add some for me?”

Nathalie passed him the plate of tripe next to her and continued focusing on her own food.

Amadeus Yancey didn’t like spicy food, so he only had a bowl of glutinous rice balls in front of him, but he was not idle as he was busy cooking her favorite dishes.

Nathalie was also content, eating whatever he served her.

Sadam Vinson didn’t come out just for Hot Pot; he mainly wanted to check on Nathalie’s condition, but he ended up being fed a mouthful of dog food metaphorically, smacking his lips as the freshly cooked tripe in his bowl lost its appeal. Putting down his chopsticks, he couldn’t resist looking in the Girl’s direction again, ”I checked it out. The person behind spreading the message seems to be Ghania Quinlan, also from McKinney. Do you need my help?”

Before he could finish speaking, Nathalie slowly savoring the beef Amadeus had just served her, wiped her mouth with a napkin, and with untamed wild eyes, she indifferently said, ”No need, I’ve already found the person.”

”Who?”
